Stay away from Reliance. I had a horrible experience with this company. I had to replace the furnace and the Air condition in my house. The first day of instillation a crew of five came to my house at 9:00 AM and left at 9:00 PM without having the air condition working. They have told me that the valve was defective and they will come next day morning to fix it. They came next day at 9:00 PM and spent an hour and then they have told me that the Furnace motor is the issue. I called the sales person and he had connected me to the maintenance manager who promised to send a different crew next day. The new crew arrived at 8:30 AM and left at 12:00 PM, they had called me and reported that everything is working. When I arrived home, I noticed that the air pressure is very weak. I went down to the basement and found out that the installers had left one of the ducts completely disconnected. I tool a picture and emailed the maintenance manager who promised to fix this next day. Now after four days nothing is fixed and the support manager has been ignoring all my calls and emails.

My water heater malfunctuoned and we had no hot water. I called Saturday night and a technician was scheduled for the NEXT DAY!! The technician, Peter (5278), was very punctual and friendly. He even took time to ensure he had special covering on his boots before entering our home. He was thorough and efficient. In less than an hour, our water heater is back up and running!! Great job! I'm definitely impressed by this experience.

Our rental h/w heater failed. Tech Phil Latour was on site within ~ 1.5 hours of making the service call. Replaced the burner assembly, no fuss. Phil was very professional, thorough.

I got my furnace from National Home Services and Reliance took over my contract, they promised 24 hour service. The furnace started vibration and making noise, I called the company more than 30 times and each time almost one hour to fix the problem and they send 4 different technician to fix it. Unfortunately they couldn't fix it and every time they made excuses. This problem started last September and now after six months I asked them to cancel the contract, nobody is responsible and they told me that I have pay more than 1800$ for penalty or they will send another technician and they will try to fix it. They just want to get your money and they are not responsible for their broken equipment at all. I am going after them with my lawyer and will give all my records and documents to the media and news to help and save other people from them. Please don't let them come to your house and take your money.

Do not buy reliance air conditioner or furnace. The product is total junk and that's probably the reason there's a big lawsuit in the courts now on this model. Ask any of your local HVAC Technicians what they work on the most and what brand they would recommend before you go out and invest $1000's on a unit. Do not listen to the rep that gets commission and sits in an office every day. Do your research and reviews first. The SmartAir™ 5000 Air​ Conditioner coil leak after 1 year, service took 4 days.

We had a problem with an older toilet. Since we were on the Reliance Home Comfort Plumbing Plan we called for service. Mitch came over within a day and did a temporary fix. He then returned to replace the toilet a few days later. Mitch was professional and extremely knowledgable (not to mention personable). In all we were were extremely pleased with his work. We are happy that Reliance has added plumbing to their Home Comfort Plan. We have used them for heat and air conditioning maintenance for years and have always been extremely satisfied.

The Sales Representative was very knowledgeable and informative in reliance homecomfort products and services. Sales rep was awesome and helpful! I'm very happy with the service I received! I would recommend anytime!
