    new propane furnace and hot water on demand

    We are very satisfied with Bob Neault from Reliance and also the technicians from Artica, all the work was done professionally and both Kevin and Steve were awsome, answered every question and explained all aspects of the work done and how to best use the new systems.

    Air Conditioner Woes!!!

    I noticed some ice build up on the conduit leaving my evaporator and travelling to my AC unit. The first technician who was assigned to the task appeared overwhelmed; and although he opined that there was likely a leak in the system, and then "topped up" the refrigerant, he was not able to remedy the problem. He booked a follow up appointment for two days hence. after he left I noticed that there were unusual sounds coming from the evaporator. I called Reliance and asked for a different technician to complete the follow up call. The receptionist heard my concerns and assured me that another technician had been assigned..Today Steve K. RNK34664 arrived and presented as a complete opposite to the former technician. Steve performed a number of diagnostics, found the leak(s) and repaired the valves, removed the old refrigerant and replaced it with new material, installed a new moisture collector, and found that the previous technician had over-filled my system with too much refrigerant. The noise near my evaporator has ceased and the AC unit appears to be working very well. In addition to his overall level of competence, Steve answered all my questions fully and was professional and courteous throughout the complete procedure. Although one might think that my experience with the first technician would taint my rating of Reliance; I understand that no one individual has all the answers. Thanks to Steve as well as the receptionist who heard my ululations. It's always good news when you discover that a product can be replaced versus being obligated to purchase a new unit.

    Good Service, but pay attention

    We currently rent our water heater, furnace and AC throught Reliance. Their service when repairing or installing equipment is very good. WE had our water heater crack and flood our basement and they were there within 30 min to install a new one. HOWEVER, you always need to double check your statements. I find I have to call all the time with errors in my bill. If you change something on the website, it doesn't seem to be connected to the system when you call in. I set up the automatic payments, then they call and say I don't have my credit card on file, then the next month I have 2 charges on my credit card! I somehow has 2 web accounts made when I first signed up for their service and then I was double billed for quite a few months. Also, I have been paying with my Amex for over two years then all of a sudden they stop accepting Amex when I get a new card and need to update my information. Good companies should be adding convenience for their customers, not taking away options.

    No Hot Water Three Days

    RENTAL 3 days no hot water. Nice surprise when tech had booties for work boots. Reliance needs to educate their technicians on respecting adults and not be so whiny. Told me immediately that he couldn't do anything and that I had to call a plumber and to make another appointment. Every body has different ways that things work in their own home, just because you try to walk a tech through how to shut off water in YOUR home, doesn't mean you're disrespecting his ability.

    Furnace and A/C installation

    Dan, Bill and Aron showed up at our house bright and early to begin our installation. They were very polite and professional all day. They worked quickly and efficiently, finishing by 3pm! They explained everything to us thoroughly, and left all spaces tidy and clean, just as they had found them. For us, it was an easy day, and now, we are all cool for the summer. Thanks guys!

    Service on Water Heater

    Excellent service. The water heater has a problem since we moved in to the current house. The Technical Expert Armin has has found there is a rock blocking the natural gas pipe which connect to the water heater. It is very rate happen and he did a very detailed inspection and found it!!!! Thanks to him, solved our problem and replaced the gas pipe for us.

    hot water tank repair

    came home from evening shift to no hot water. called reliance at 9am and service adviser Ken H. was here by 12:30, found the problem immediately, fixed it, and wore booties over his shoes the whole time. very happy with service

    Comfort Heating/Cooling Protection Plus Plan

    I have been paying into this Protection Plus Plan which I was told BEFORE I purchased the plan that I would receive Priority Service when I needed my furnace/air conditioner serviced. A/C has broken down and I've been told there are no technicians available until Thursday morning. This is not what I would call PRIORITY SERVICE. I am not happy. Has anyone else had experience like this???

    Heating and cooling system

    Andrew McMaster from reliance he explain very well between the difference old heating and cooling system very well.Anddrew explain how much we can save with new equipment. I am so impressed in future if I need any service I will contact only reliance.

    Hot water tank maintance

    Received a call from Reliance saying we are titled to a free inspection. Don't recall this happening in the past. However set up for 11:00 May 31/15. Time now at writing 13:45hrs. No call indicating running behind schedule. Called Reliance at both numbers (twice) on billing invoice and was on hold for approx. 40 minutes in total. What poor service. We are now considering other options. If they have not pressured me for an appointment set up I would not be writing this review. Mike Mike
