    Furnace and A/C replacement

    Where to begin? We start by having a new high efficiency furnace and A/C system installed. Due to the fact of having a 30 year old furnace and no A/C system in our older house I knew this would be a full days work. When the installation company arrived (Progressive Ind. Comfort) they showed up with the incorrect furnace. The install tech was immediately put out and noticeably perturbed. After a little debate as to where the A/C condenser assembly was to be placed I was told that the location that was suggested would be the easiest place for them to do the install (not an ideal spot for me). When we moved inside to look at the electrical panel and furnace location I was told they would install the HVAC system but would have to return another day to wire in the A/C system. "it is going to be too much work for today to hook up the A/C system" was the excuse I was given. When the correct units arrived, 30 minutes after the first install tech arrived, the pre-install prep work was promptly attended to. The second install tech cleaned up all his garbage mess, dirt and debris, and dumped it into the new air filter box with the brand new filter in the box. Once the removal of the old furnace was complete the new unit was installed all the while constantly overhearing complaints from both techs on how long the job was taking and how late they were going to get home. When it came time to install my new thermostat the electrical wire couldn't be fished up to the main floor so I now have a 4 inch by 3 foot hole in my dining room wall. As the techs constantly complained about time now they basically ran out of our house with no explanation on any of our new equipment. In summary of this install, the water valve for the humidifier was not turned on, I now have a brand new used air filter, a hole in my wall and an A/C system that has never been tested. This all took place in October 2015 and had my first service call today Jan 2016 for a gas leak. Now I know it sounds like I am whining, but I am a licensed automotive tech and if I was to do this shoddy of a job in my trade my boss/customers would fire me. Reliance home comfort should look at this situation in the same light as I do. P.S. we have 3 other houses that are going to need HVAC work in the future. PLEASE RESPOND !!!

    Repairs to Furnace

    I am very impressed with Technician ADAM WALKER. A very friendly and cool guy. The way he carried out his task was very professional and he seem to have an abundance of knowledge. I will always recommend to friends and Family. Good job Adam, keep it up. Jeff

    Disappointed again

    Horrible service. Poor communication with the scheduled apps between technicians and the service department. Appt was nearly missed because they arrived hours before agreed upon time. I had to flag the tech down as he was leaving my house because I was just coming home.

    furnace

    John Planimac Team 2318 who serviced our furnace on Jan 5/16 did a fantastic job, he was very accommodating, helpful and professional in dealings with customers. I signed up for protection plan today and Cathy who took my call was also very pleasant with me. Thank you.

    New Furnace & A/C system

    New furnace and A/C system installed. Extremely happy with installers 1023 and 3042 and Sales Tony Gveric. Very polite, organized and cleaned up after work very well. Knowledgeable and efficient.

    water heater replacment

    I had a Tech and his apprentice attend my house to swap out my old water heater. The Tech was Ryan L. #3316 his apprentice was Mark. They were both very friendly and respectful. Did an excellent job with the water heater. Very clean work. And great advice. Hats off to you guys. Excellent work !

    Furnace fixed, Ivan RCHSA030 - 5 stars

    Burlington,ON We have a protection plan on our furnace - when it stopped working I called Reliance and a technician was at our home within hours, the problem identified and resolved. Ivan was the technician and he was exemplary, the reason we will continue to choose Reliance for our heating/cooling needs.     Furnace/air conditioner and hot water heater.

    During the month of December my furnace repeatedly shut itself off and continued malfunctioning even after the thermostat was replaced. Seeing as the furnace was over 25 yrs old I decided to replace it along with the air conditioner and the hot water heater which were also around the same age. Rob and Dan arrived on the scheduled day at 8:45 and worked non-stop for 8-9 hrs until everything was installed. They were friendly and polite did a wonderful job,kept the place clean and explained the equipment to me.

    Water Heater Replacement

    Our 21 year old water heater was leaking, called in the morning around 10 am, had a new water heater installed by 3:30 pm that day. Great service and Brad was very easy to get along with during the install.

    New furnace, air conditioner and hot water tank installation

    Installers were Bill W (RCH1377) and Wes R (18G3). They were very professional explaining all of the operation of the equipment, accessories and maintenance. They took great care of our property and the worksite was left clean and tidy. Many thanks gentleman, excellent job!
