Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13631)

Installed air conditioner last spring (had an older high efficiency "Boonstra" furnace. Men were fast, efficient and clean. Called for A/C service on a Saturday after lunch. Repairman was on site within the hour, quickly repaired the system. Very friendly. We are extremely satisfied with Reliance Home Comfort! (having moved on from Boonstra maintenance).

Installation went smoothly. Answered any questions I had. Circuit board on thermostat was faulty and temporary one installed until replacement came in. Union gas rebate (1150) came in a few weeks which was good. Still waiting for the 650 rebate and it has been a couple of months. Shouldn't take that long.

Darryl and Shawn arrived on time. They were very friendly. They swapped out the new for old water tank in no time. They noticed a couple of issues with the venting and fixed them. Left my house as clean as when they arrived. Thanks Guys.

Our hot water heater was leaking all over the place. Phil came out and was very professional. He stopped the leaking, replaced the drain tap and that wasn't all. He inspected the state of the heater and noted that it was looking pretty rusty and probably only had a couple of years left at most and, instead of having us deal with another unexpected leak later, scheduled us to get a replacement heater in a week. He also did an exterior inspection of the various vents and intakes and gave a few recommendations there.

My furnace decided to stop working on what had to be the coldest day so far this year. My window was between 7-11 my tech IAN got there at 10:30 and worked until 1:00am in the morning to get me and my kid’s heat for the night. He not only fixed my furnace but also repaired things that were not done properly by other techs that had been out to service my equipment in the past. He was awesome he deserves some paid days of :)

Me and my wife recently got a furnace and central air installed. Donna was amazing she took the time to explain the entire processes. She was very helpful and extremely helpful. The installers were very quick and did a great job. And then Donna called after to make sure we were satisfied. I highly suggest if you are looking for heating and cooling, give Donna a call. You wont be disappointed.

Our tenant called and told us the heater is not working. We know it is going to die soon because we just had it inspected by Scott Donaldson. I called him and the next day the installer were there. The installer run into difficulties because there is an obstruction that needed to be clear but he did not leave the house till the heat is on. My tenants were very happy with the service.

No hot water. Called @ 5PM, tech to arrive before 8PM. Tech showed up @ 6:30PM. Changed a part and new problem. Stated he was only a parts changer and had to call someone else. Stated they would arrive @ 9PM. No show by 10PM. Called Reliance, stated we had last appointment @ 11PM with contractor. Called @ 11:40PM, showed up @ midnight. Fixed water heater by 12:30AM. I don't understand why first person was sent who can't fix problem. Late night when you have to get up @ 5AM for work!!!

We had a new furnace and air conditioner installed in late summer as our air conditioner was not repairable. Very happy with rep who came to our home and service received. Rep spent a lot of time with us and explained the best payment options for us. I would recommend this company.

Rob H and his protege Dejan were professional and thoughtful; working quickly, contentiously and efficiently. A positive reflection on the Reliance Family and will not hesitate to share with friends and family. Daniel, our Systems Specialist, was knowledgeable, friendly and respectful of our needs and circumstance. He reviewed all options and answered our endless questions. Rare to find someone who honours his word and follows through. I will not hesitate to share with anyone who may need these services and products.
