    Rental service and Accounts Receivable

    I am being double billed for an account that I had paid for over 5 years. It was transferred into my own name, a credit given to the old owner and now Reliance is asking me to pay again. The account was put into my name August 2015 and they are threatening to send me to collections if I don't pay for the prior years that the account wasn't in my name.

    Hot Water Heater; Air Handler

    First off, the rating provided is not indicative of our most recent visit by Joe Green which would be a 10/10. He was knowledgeable, helpful and understood the products he was servicing. I would recommend him to friends and colleagues and believe that the company should do more to hire staff like him. Since moving into our new home, which came with a reliance contract, we have had issues with our tank-less water heater, AC and now furnace. In each product there were issues that required resolution, leading to multiple, painful visits. In every case, it took at least three technicians, time off work, and sleepless nights before any issues were resolved. The techs would make outlandish claims (like the water heater is broken and needs to be replaced) which were discredited at the very end by more knowledgeable techs. In the case of our water heater, the company replaced it (thankfully on their dime) and in the end it was determined that it only required 20 cents of parts to fix (a couple plastic ties). More recently, our furnace wasn't working and a tech suggested that it required a $1000 part which led to lost time in ordering the part. Again, this was discredited when Joe arrived, as he simply had to change a minor setting to get the furnace to work. What is most painful is that the process (3 weeks) left my wife, four year old daughter and I without heat, all because some technician couldn't properly diagnose an issue. I truly hope someone at Reliance Corporate office reads this and takes note of the need to hire and train more competent staff.

    new water heater install

    my water heater started leaking in the middle of night i called reliance next morning tyler from reliance came with a new tank and installed it without a glitch and everything went smooth

    New hot water tank

    Ken Hill was the Advisor that came to my home to remove the old and install a new larger hot water tank. He was timely, friendly, thorough and very informative. Great service! A positive experience for me and my future dealings with Reliance Home Comfort! ***** Great job! Thank you!

    Hot water tank

    Ken came to look at a leaky valve on our water heater. He was on time, fast, efficient and friendly. Happy to deal with Reliance and have never had any issues with them. The person I booked the appt with on the phone was very helpful and friendly as well.

    replaced furnace and air conditioner

    I was hesitant to go with a big company versus a smaller one but so glad that I did. My furnace in my old home was suddenly irreparable so I was rushed to get a replacement. From Al who came to offer me the options available and answered all of my questions honestly and without pressure, to the promptly scheduled service guys who went above and beyond to fit the equipment into my space, to the service centre call people who were efficient and pleasant, to the follow up service person who came more recently to help answer an even not so pressing question I had (Les W.)-- everyone was prompt, pleasant, thorough and competent. Pricing comparable to or better than the smaller companies I had consulted. Thank you everyone at Reliance for a great experience at a stressful time!

    Furnace

    Jon and Ryan. Those are they guys you want to install your furnace. Simple as that. Would recommend these guys to anyone, and would recommend you ask for them to install you furnace: they were absolutely fantastic. Could not be more impressed. Price was fair, they were punctual, and they followed up afterwards to ensure I was happy. 10/10

    Water tank repair

    Mathew F. from reliance home comfort fixed my water heater that was giving me issues. He and his supervisor (Mat S.) took extra time to ensure I get the part that was required to be replaced as soon as possible. Mathew showed up half an hour earlier than scheduled appointment next day and ensured my heater was fixed before he left. He spend time and effort to explain me every thing I need to now how to protect my heating appliances. He was kind, friendly, and very effective.     hot water tank

    3 year old tank started leaking. Book appointment online and Brandon O (RCH3102) was at our house within an hour. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes and also reviewed other parts of tank. Very professional,

    Hot Water Heater

    thought my hot water heater was not working called & had a service tech here within 4 hours there was no charge due to my rental agreement Mike was very courteous & efficient - great customer service !!
