New furnace & a/c installed in March, by reliance. Turned a/c on Monday May 25th it did not work. Called for a service man at 5pm on Monday May 25th, was given a window 5-7 pm. No one called or showed up so at 9:30pm same day called in & was told someone would be here within the hour. No one called or showed up, waited up until 11pm. Next morning called again, service man would be here btw 7am-11am, no one showed up or called. At 11:30am called & was told btw 11:30 & 2, service man Les showed up at 2:30. Advised me that the a/c valves had not been opened & that the was unit unusable. Also, asked Les to check the thermostat & he could as he did not know how it worked!!!! Called & booked for another service call for the next day. Now day 3. At 7am Steve K #5630 phoned the house & showed up within 15mins. Checked out the unit & confirmed that the compressor was busted. Compressor arrived at the house Friday May 28th, install to be done June 1st btw 1-5pm. Not what we had hoped for when using Reliance, very, very disappointed & have lost a lot of faith. Steve did redeem the company, knew his stuff & was very helpful. Hoping the a/c gets fixed. However now our concern is will the unit be as good as new, as that's what we have paid for. The company needs more service men like Steve, who have a knowledge of the product the company sells, & who is also very good at customer service. He is the reason I have any faith left in Reliance.
