Found J&J on Homestars as a last hope to find a mover with 4 days notice b/c of a long weekend. The 6 moving company ads I'd received after listing my house were all busy and no rental trucks were available anywhere. John called me back immediately, was so nice and kind, and went out of his way to accommodate my last minute request. The price quoted was fair and honoured. Scottie and his two helpers arrived on time, wrapped things carefully, and did the job efficiently and without complaint. John communicated throughout and followed up to see if I was happy. I couldn't say more good things and recommend them 100%.

This was my 2nd time using J and J moving services. I can say I am equally delighted with the job done. Both Q and the 2nd person were very professional, showed up on time and effortlessly moved all of my stuff swiftly. They showed up with bubble wrap, wrap blankets, and all the works. Only hick was due to a miscommunication around additional moving boxes required. I had a few of my own. I still give them a 10/10 because they are so careful with heavy and delicate items, and they listen / understand your needs. Would definitely use their services again and will share the company's info with all my friends needing it ! :-)

The guys were quick, friendly, punctual and accurate with the items. It was a perfect move. The ordering was also very straightforward. I’ve received my contact the next day, unlike some other companies i tried that marinade you for days and weeks sometimes before giving you the confirmation..

We have worked with J and J in the past and recently hired them for another move. The team was excellent to work with - very friendly, punctual, efficient and careful in all of their activities. They helped us pack our entire 2 bedroom condo, wrapping everything quickly and with much care, handled our difficult property management while struggling to get our dedicated elevator booking time and parking spot for their truck, then quickly moved everything to our new home AND helped us unpack. Not just talking about disassembly and reassembly of furniture which they did, but they helped with the kitchen, office items, etc. All of this was done in less than 10hrs and that included at least a 1hr delay due to issues with our elevator (not J and J's fault!). So so grateful for the team - Scottie, Cliff, Courtney and Tyler were all great. Thank you so much for making our move stress free . Although we hope we won't need to move again very soon, we look forward to working with you again when the time comes!

These guys are absolutely amazing. They are professional, easy to worn with, respectful and very very considerate. I felt 100% comfortable to leave and go to work and they did a perfect job. They communicate to us all day regarding questions they had. We had to force them to take some breaks as they’re such hard workers. I’m very comfortable recommending their service.

Scottie with 2 other young guys did a great job moving my 2nd floor stuff to A storage unit in under 3hrs ….. they wasted no time and All at a fairly reasonable rate ……I ended up paying a little more as 3 guys came instead of 2 but it did save a lot of time having the extra person there Thx John for setting it all up in the short notice I gave you much appreciated.

The team at J and J were great start to finish. From the initial phone call right to when they pulled out of our driveway. John, who gave me an estimate and walked me through the process, was upfront with costs and made sure everything was in order on the day of our move with a phone call. His team arrived on time and knocked out the pack up efficiently. The movers were polite, friendly professionals. We had a substantial relocation from Brampton to Huntsville but everything arrived on time and the offload happened before we knew it. I would absolutely recommend J and J anytime.

Moved from a 5 bedroom to a small 3 bedroom home. They brought an extra body (4 guys instead of 3) and asked me if I wanted to pay a bit more hourly to get things done faster to which of course I agreed as the guys would be less tired overall and we'd get done faster, so a win-win situation. The guys were super friendly and caring. They followed instructions and never put up any fuss or unhappiness. Scotty, Tyler, Q and the forth person (sorry forgot his name, I'm bad with names) were great. Always smiling. Disassembled and assembled my furniture as expected. Unfortunately there was small 3" damage to a wall where the sofa fell into it to which they were very willing to fix it and it was resolved. There was also damage to the post of the stairs where the trim came off from 2 of the 4 sides (from the house where we moved but I fixed it with some glue I borrowed from the neighbours). Otherwise they were 10 stars if it weren't for those things, reasonably priced too but happens when you're moving so many things and I'd use them again!
