    Moved into Seniors home

    Being a senior I did not know a mover. A woman in the building recommended them to me. I spoke to the young man on the phone and was very comfortable with his answers and his voice. I have heard about some movers and was very nervous. I had my daughter call them and she agreed with me about the man on the phone. They did a great job and if I ever move again,which I really doubt, I will call them again. B.Boyd,Toronto

    Moving from apartment to condo

    This is the 3rd time i've used A&D and again, they were fantastic. Courteous, punctual, mindful, and professional. Each took time to introduce themselves and every request or instruction was greeted with a smile. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

    Moving condo to condo!

    I found A&D Movers from the reviews here on HomeStars. True to every other review I read, the guys arrived early and immediately set to work. There were 4 young men (I was expecting three and they said they added the fourth as a bonus!!). All extremely polite, they introduced themselves and then got down to business. They were out of my old condo in two hours and the whole job beginning to end at the new condo was completed in 4-1/2 hours. i was expecting and budgeted for 6 hours so this was also a nice surprise. The cost of the move was $698 - plus I tipped each of the 4 guys so it was a total of $900 with the tip (hey it was a week before Christmas!!) All in all, on what was a very stressful day, these young men and A&D Movers ensured I had nothing to worry about. i strongly recommend their services.

    A & D Movers

    I had a complicated move to manage, downsizing from the city to the country, involving dozens of large paintings, huge flat files, cartons of heavy books etc. I looked on HomeStars for recommendations and recognized this company from a great household move they did for me in the late 80's. Shane did a site visit a week early and gave me confidence the move was going to work the way I wanted it to. He allowed me to postpone a week when my wrapping got behind schedule and spread the move into two parts so that we would avoid week day traffic and unloading in the dark. The crew were fabulous and everything arrived safely and I barely lifted a finger the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. THANK YOU!

    A & D Movers

    These guys completely wasted my time. After several phone conversations and an in-home visit to make an estimate, they backed out when I asked for the estimate in writing! I find it incredible that movers are so reluctant to make a contract and this makes me feel they are untrustworthy.

    Sorry I can not wait for a maybe job, another client called and booked that spot. Being a small business with full time staff to keep busy I can not afford to wait. Many times potential clients say I will get back to you, As for not putting things in writing , I respond to many e-mails, giving our hourly rates in writing and approx. estimates.As far as being reluctant to do so, you are very wrong. You must have been hurt by several movers in the past.As for leaving this review, I find this to be very (for lack of a better word)childish. You should not judge a company, when they have not even worked for you. All the best with your move and if you need any advice, please do not hesitate to call us.

    moving

    I was so pleased with my recent moving experience because of the guys at A&D. The gentlemen arrived, worked their butts off, were polite, conscientious and careful. The guys went out of their way to make the move as easy and efficient as humanly possible, despite the disadvantage of some pretty heavy items, stairs and narrow hallways to negotiate, a downtown location and rainy weather. They guys even tried to help organize the boxes a bit, to help me move some things to my storage locker and some things to my apartment without complaint. I highly reccomend this company for anyone looking for some good old-fshioned, trustworthy service.

    mover

    These guys were punctual, efficient, professional, friendly, and took very good care of our things during our move. I would absolutely recommend them and use their services again! Thanks for taking a load off our shoulders during this stressful time!

    local move

    The move was seamless and stress-free! They were very accommodating and professional. They showed up on time and even gave us a lift in their truck to the new place. Would recommend A&D to anyone looking to move. Thanks guys!

    Movers

    AD Movers were excellent. They showed up 10 minutes early and consistently worked hard for over 5 hours. Having 4 people makes a huge difference to the over time taken especially if you have lots of furniture. The team were polite, professional and very careful with my possessions (didn't break a thing) and the walls of both houses. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend them to anyone moving.

    Moving from Thornhill to Ajax, Ontario

    Fantastic is the only word we can use to describe our experience with A and D Movers. Shane, Jason, Nick, James were true professionals in their work and treatment of us as customers. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good experience with their move. Lucio and Janet ps: Unlike every other mover we called, we found A & D to be extra fair about the costs for travel to and from their location to our home. In addition there was no 'fuel surcharge'.
