The process began with a phone call to Jason at Allan Rug. I was able to select a carpet without going to the store. They have an excellent website and the gentleman who came to measure the area of carpet for replacement, brought carpet samples for selection. A date was chosen and a few days later the carpet was installed. The installers arrived on time, installed the carpet in a timely fashion and cleaned up before they departed. They did an excellent job. We have used Allan Rug in the past for a commercial installation and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thank you Allan Rug. Danny and Robert

Not really that impressed with this company. The did a couple rooms and some stairs for us and it was ok but small things which really stick out as being rushed, plus the installers body odor was so bad we had to open doors while woirk was being done. I'm pretty sure they showed us different underpad vs what installed but that's a he said she said thing so I left it. Plus no followup by company after hired installers did work. Ultimately for what was 300 under home depot I wish we went another way.

I have used Allan Rug a few times and they are always reasonably priced and do a great job. The wall to wall installer was very polite and did the work with no mess. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I was very satified with the work. They service was very nice, they came to take the carpeting and after the painting they put the new carpet. I will recommend this company.

We went to 3 other companies - had house measured and estimates done - their price was very fair, not at all overpriced for the quality of the rugs chosen and the care of the installation and furniture help. I know now two other homes equally happy with them and have now referred them to friends. And they planned the amount of carpet needed so well that there are just a few small pieces left over ..amazing for the amount we ordered. You won't be disappointed - business like, on time, wonderful.

Allan rug provided a terrific carpet for our booth at the Fall Home Show and International show. We really appreciate their support. They finished the edges beautifully and the carpet is excellent quality - no pilling after hundreds of people walking over it over the past 8 days. And we've had carpets before that just don't hold up. Thanks Catherine and the group for providing a top quality product.

What should have been a one day job turned into a longer protracted event. We did some renovations on our basement and were recommended to go to Allan Rugs for new carpet. The in store service was very good and the salespeople were very nice man and well intentioned. However, the workmanship was less than average as our carpet installation had many open spaces between the baseboard and the carpet, visible seams where they needed to join the carpet, staples exposed, and in a number of spots we had very visible glue stains. To top if off, while installing the carpet and after installation, the installers were walking on our new carpet with their workboots on, going in and out of the house without taking them off or putting on plastic shoecovers. We also ended up with a large glue stain on the drvieway at the side of our house from an inadvertent spill which is there to this day. They were quick to recoginize the issues and I was pleased with that, and they truly treid to rectify then. However , in the end, we were less than pleased with the aesthetics of the job. Lesson here is that if you want a more pristine job then if our experience was not an exception, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

I found Allan Rug through Homestars and I am really pleased that I found them. I had Torlys cork flooring installed throughout the main floor of my new house and they were by far the cheapest and most friendly option in Toronto. I called over 12 other places and some other dealers quoted up to 30% more for the exact same product and were not as knowledgeable, nor as available as Bev (the salesperson) and Nikkia (the installer) at Allan Rug. If I could give them a 15 out of 10 I would.

Friends referred us to the Allan Rug Co. They have a great carpet selection, and prices are very reasonable. We found the sales people to be quite helpful and friendly. The carpet installation was very well done. We had no problems and are very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended.
