    Yarrow Crawlspace encapsulation

    I had Basement Systems Vancouver do a complete encapsulation of my dirt crawl. They removed all debris, levelled any high spots, and even cleared out a lot of the dead spiders and cobwebs from the floor joists. All work completed was exactly as advertised and no extra charges on the quoted invoice. I would recommend to anyone dealing with a damp and dirty crawl space. There is no more smell when opening the access hatch and my floors are warmer with substantially less heat loss.

    Crawl space clean

    Guys did a great job. Hauled out junk left by previous owners. They were prompt and polite.

    Window Well replacement

    Two rotting 13 year old wells were expertly replaced by two pleasant easy going fellows!

    Crawlspace clean up

    These guys did an amazing job with our crawl space. It needed to be cleaned, sanitized, reinsulated and we even got a foundation crack repaired. Great, prompt, professional service. Highly recommended

    Basement Renovation

    We do not recommend this company. Our initial experience with Basement Systems was great. They were quick, and the job was done within the month of our first contact. Our crawl space was damp and humid. We had just moved in and wanted to make sure had good air quality for our young kids. However, as soon as we had an issue. They became difficult to reach. get go, we were convinced by their sales pitch to go for this vapour barrier. We were upfront with our sales man, told him we did not have much money, young family, new home. We told him our budget from the get go. We just wanted a safe crawl space, we knew it was humid and wanted to get ahead of the problem before we experienced mold or mildew. The affordable solution should have been the new pump and a good quality dehumidifier. Then we could have repaired our crawl space as issues came. Now we are stuck with this vapour barrier, which cost us thousands, and water trapped below it. We feel very disappointed. We feel this company sold us their product, just to make a sale, and did not actually help us solve our crawl space issue, just exacerbated the problem. Then they became hard to get a full answer from when contacted with our dissatisfaction. (Project was done January 2024)

    Shifting floors / crawl space renewal

    I noticed a crack in my wall & a slight tilt to the floors. We had had a flood in 2021 and a raccoon in the crawl space. Wondered what to do when I heard the ads for BSV on the radio. Went to the Abby Home & Garden show, spoke w/ Fraser to get the gang out for an estimate. Everyone I spoke w/ (Gloria rocks!) was wonderful. They were clear in what was going to happen & kept us up-to-date on the evolving shedule (thank you Steve). Did a great job in cleaning up / prepping the site, installation was smooth and they even left us some tape & vapour barrier (much appreciated Kyle) for patches if we needed to do any future plumbing jobs. Very professional and lovely folks to work with.
