We have lived in our house for 17 years, and it is a house with a flat roof. Shortly after moving in we had a heavy rainfall and some leaks occurred and water was coming in through our roof into our family room. We called a roofer, they said they fixed it, unfortunately when the snow melted the following winter, once again we had water in our family room. After trying a second roofer with the same disappointing result, I was referred to Better Contracting. The roof has never had issues since. Since then I have also used Better C to replace my cedar shingles and also replaced the membrane on a secondary roof we have. Everyone from Better ha salads been very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They are the only roofing company that I trust and that I will ever use. I highly recommend Better Contracting. I was introduced to the team at Better several years ago. Since that time I have used Better Contracting for 4 different roof related jobs, including 2 flat roof repairs, cedar shingle installation, and a full roof replacement. Their work has been outstanding! The team at Better are helpful, professional, easy to speak to nad most of all honest. Their work has been flawless. THEY CAME TO INSTALL OUR GARAGE FLAT ROOF IN OCT, 2008 AND IT HAS A TEN YRS LABOR & 20 YRS MATERIAL WARRANTY. TODAY, WE DISCOVERED THAT IT IS LEAKING QUITE BADLY WHICH SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AT ALL AS GARAGE ROOF HAS NO HEAT ISSUES AND WILL USUALLY LAST LONGER THAN A REGULAR HOUSE ROOF. AT THE BEGINNING, SHORTLY AFTER THEY HAD COMPETED, WE FOUND ABOUT WATER RETAINED IN THE CENTER OF THE ROOF AFTER THE FIRST RAINFALL AND THEY SAID THE ROOF WAS ALL FINISHED AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. SINCE WE HAD ALREADY FULLY PAID THEM BEFORE RAINING, WE WERE UNABLE TO DO MUCH ABOUT IT OTHER THAN COMPLAINING TO THEM AND MIKE HOLMES AS I FOUND THEIR NAME IN MIKE'S SHOW. NOW WE ARE WAITING TO CALL THEM WHEN THE WEEKEND IS OVER AND SEE WHAT THEIR EXPLANATION IS AND HOW THEY ARE GOING TO FIX IT.Answer from pro:

Recently I had blown off shingles replaced. Valarie, at Better Contracting, could not have been more professional and helpful, even to arranging for a technician, if necessary, to leave another location to go the repairs. Similarly, Darren, the technician, was very friendly and, not only did the repairs, but inspected the entire roof for potential other necessary attention. I would without hesitation, recomend this roofing company to anyone.Answer from pro:

Recent very high winds lifted about 8 ridge shingles that BC had installed on my townhouse in June 2013. They sent a service person Kyle the next day and he was most courteous and efficient in fitting new shingles. Very cheerful despite the intense cold and this warranty work was done without any quibbling. Well done Better Contracting. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.Answer from pro:

These guys are polite respectful, they have surpassed my expectations by a long shot, leaving my roof worrie free amd did a great job at it, left my house cleaner then what it was. We had our smart screen, evestrough and sofit installed in 2012. They did an excellent job and were very professional. Everything was explained to us as the job progressed. The office staff as well were very courteous. I would definately recommend them.
