Because we were having problems with oddly noisy pipes in a couple of locations in our house, I checked out this website, and discovered Flavio's many positive reviews. I phoned him and, surprisingly, was able to speak to him immediately. He came over to the house later the same day, thoroughly investigated the problems, and correctly diagnosed one as originating with our rental water heater, and offered viable and cost-saving solutions for the other. He was prompt, courteous, thorough, and accurate and his price was more than fair.

We had an emergency situation in one of the townhouses in our Co-op. The sewer was starting to back up and the family had to vacate their home due to the odor and not being able to use the facilities. As the plumber we usually called was already dealing with an emergency situation we were in trouble. After a lot of frustration I finally found Flavio through Homestars. He certainly lived up to his ratings. He fit us into his busy schedule and did not stop until the problem was solved. He even worked over the weekend and the final bill for the work was suprisingly reasonable. We couldn't be happier.

Flavio was amazing. He is busy, but for a reason - because he does good work. He fixed our sagging kitchen sink (and pipe work), removed of an old sink & washer downstairs, fixed the drainage in the basement, and installed the pipes for our new washer and dryer. He started the job on Friday, but came back and spent 5 hours working on our place on Sunday because he knew that his week was going to be busy the following week and we needed water in the kitchen before we could move in. We can't say enough to thank him for his good work, and making sure that we were properly taken care of. I decided to call Flavio based on reviews on this website and it turned out to be a very good decision, so thank you, too! He wasn't the easiest to reach, but came the afternoon he promised even though my problem was not too urgent and actually identified the problem while talking on the phone with me first time, even though I wasn't too convinced he knew exactly which type of shower I had. He was professional, curteous, quick and definitely knowlegeable about his job. He replaced damaged inner cartridges in the shower stall faucet I didn't even know were replaceable, immediately identified and fixed the cause of the low pressure in the shower, replaced and tightened up the toilet flange and even dug under the sink and tightened up the kitchen sink faucet when, almost on his way out, he accidentally realized that this one was loose and was letting water leak under it and the countertop! He left impression of an honest and trustworthy service, which matter to me the most and the price was reasonable, even though I didn't even ask him for an estimate before starting the work. I definitely felt that he wasn't just after quick money and that he believed in good and honest service being his best referrals. I would definitely recommend him to others and will definitely call him next time I need similar service. Way to go, Flavio :-)
