Jake and his team did a wonderful job! They are very friendly, professional, extremely competent and work well together. Very happy with the work they did and truly appreciate the workmanship involved in the laying and cutting of the flagstone. The concrete steps had a curve and Jake did a great job cutting the flagstone and giving it a natural look. Thanks for making my house look gorgeous!

Just a quick note to thank Jake and the Casa Loma Masonry team for the fine landscaping work they completed at my home over the past 2 weeks. They were very conscientious, detailed and hard working, all of which was greatly appreciated.

Paolo,   Thank you for the repairs to our chimney, the arch over our garage, parging on the front of the garage as well as various tuck-pointing.  We had 5 companies quote on the work and were able to narrow it down based on who could handle arches (the first cut for a professional mason).  You stood out by the manner in which you went through what (in your opinion) should be done in order to fix each item permanently, how it should be done (in detail) and what the process would be.  The price-point was reasonable considering you are bonded and insured, you have WSIB and you employ trained professionals.    You took the time throughout the project to touch base (before, during and afterwards) in order to ensure that things were done properly.  When one issue arose, you happily stated that you would ensure that things were done right and to our satisfaction.  We have found in our experience that projects have items that pop up, and you were not only on top of it but made sure that things were taken care of.  Lina was excellent in facilitating the less glamourous aspects ... ensuring that paperwork was done properly, reaching out to us regarding scheduling and always being responsive to our questions.   We will be contacting you when it comes time to do the driveway / walkway as the work quality was excellent, you were on-time and your crew cleaned up each day.  It is not easy to find a good contractor, which is why we have already recommended you to 2 of our neighbours (and will continue to do so).   Regards, Mike and Andrea

My Triple Chimney was in need of repair and I started to look around for quotes. Other companies quoted about $1000 more for the same job that Casa Loma Masonry described. So I decided to give them a try. I don't regret my decision, withn a couple of weeks of my deposit. 2 guys were in our backyard at 7:30am building the scaffolding to get to the Chimney. Both Justin and Kevin were professional and hard working and showed a lot of knowledge about chimneys. Justin had answered all my questions and I left them to do their thing. After 2 days, the chimney was done. They did an excellent job, my chimney is brand new and I know I won't have to worry about it for many years to come. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs to have their chimney rebuilt.

We had our kitchen renovated in 2008, and as part of our reno we closed off a side-door. Casa Loma was the sub-contractor hired to do this work. They did a great job matching the new brick to the old brick on our 1963 home. You can barely see the outline of the old door. Because of this, when we started to get some leaking in our basement, and realized that the bricks at the top of the chimney were cracking and falling off, we called Casa Loma Masonry directly. They came within 2 weeks, spent 1 1/2 days pulling the old chimney down and rebuilding it. The work was excellent, and the leaking in our basement stopped. It was a job well done and the crew were polite and friendly.

We had been advised by the home inspector, when we purchased our home last year, of some crumbling foundation on the south-facing side. Although we were advised that the damage was merely cosmetic and had no structural significance we decided to have it repaired. This summer we hired the crew from Casa Loma. They were exceptional in every way and went above and beyond by digging several feet down and continued the foundry work right around the back of the house to the deck in order to make sure it was a uniform look. Would definitely hire again.

They were clean, efficient, safe and polite. They were punctual and they were everything that you could want in the chimney service. They offered competitive prices and we didn't mind paying the prices because I consider them reputable in terms of their business.

We had a reference from a reputable home inspector. They did a good job with the chimney repair except for the missing rain caps and their prices were about 5% higher than other quotes. Be specific about what you want or need done as some things might be overlooked during their work.
