It was time to replace our 20 year+ furnace and air conditioner. I invited a number of contractors to bid on the job - Lennox,Carrier and Trane. What I got were salesmen who were forceful,who couldn't answer specific technical questions regarding their product, or the installation. Essentially, they were using the various rebate program offers as the "carrot" to complete the sale.Wow, was I surprised. Then I went to HomeStars.com and found Cozy World and I invited them for a quote. It was refreshing to deal with Boris, the owner and a licensed HVAC technician. He was honest, courteous and straightforward and was able to answer ALL of my questions. He described in detail the Goodman product, warranties and the installation. I was highly satisfied and contracted them for the job. The Goodman furnace and Air Conditioner was installed by an equally knowledgeable and professional crew. Clearly, Product and Customer Service is priority ONE at Cozy World and I highly recommend them.

Boris was very knowledgable and easy to deal with. His crew Kam and Costas were very professional and courteous. I am glad that I found them on homestars, they definitely deserve the ratings they've gotten so far. I would definitely recommend them/and or use them again in the future. As matter of fact they've also installed my in law's furnance recently and my in laws have nothing but great things to say about Boris and his crew. Keep up the good work!

Boris is a very knowledgeable person who did an excellent job explaining the equipment we needed and size that we needed. The job was done by two very efficient hard working men. They even continued to work even when we had a power outage for an hour in the neighbourhood. After another contract for the same equipment was quoted to us at $4,000 more, we got out of it the next day and went with Cozy World. The equipment is very efficient and works great. We are very pleased. This installation was done in summer 2010. On one of the hotest days in the summer 2011, the air conditioner stopped working. I looked outside and the wire to the unit made a large spark when touched. We did not have air conditioning for about 24 hours. Fred the intaller came in the evening and made a repair - it was minor but caused the unit to short out. There was no cost to me. I am pleased overall even though it was inconvenient and uncomfortable for 24 hours.

Yet another 10 points review. I was wondering how possible Cozy World average is 10.0 in homestars? I know now. * Estimation was accurate in terms of time and money. * Crew arrived on time * Crew was well prepared and had everything required for successful and clean project completion * Kam had enough patience to answer all my questions on my level of understanding of physics and mechanics so I have a very good idea why installation went the way it went. * Kam moved humidifier to the other side where I have more room to access it and also it freed the entrance to furnace. His words: "I approach every project as if it happens in my house" * Drain pipes left connected to one single pipe (see attached pic) and not the way it had 3 separate pipes tied together. He could leave it same way BTW. * Boris payed a visit during installation and verified everything is on track * Boris followed up and collected my feedback right after installation * Boris promptly submitted OPA 125$ claim * I was left with confidence in product and service and with peace of mind (and some paperwork to be done)

I was very pleased with the way the mechanics went about the job. they were very approachable and helpful great job done for a good price will recommend them to my friends and call them for the next job.

We needed to replace the furnace and air conditioner last winter and called several suppliers for a quote. We chose Boris, not only because his was the lowest quote, he was also the most helpful in determining what we really needed. His installer Kam was brilliant. He helped devise a routing system for the ducts to preserve much needed head space. The installation team were all very competent, polite and tidy. Previously the upper floors had been chilly in the winter, but Kam suggested increasing the feeds to those areas and now the house is evenly warm. This summer was the first time it felt like we really had air conditioning. Overall we could not have been happier. We highly recommend Boris and his team at Cozy World.

Called Cozy World and they returned my message promptly. Boris came to house very quickly to provide estimate. Boris went beyond simply looking at furnace and provided advice about humidifier and AC unit. Boris was professional courteuos and friendly. Install done by Kam, another great guy. Work was done very quickly. Kam, as well as Boris, went beyond by taking extra time out of their schedules while I asked questions regarding duct work for future renovation project. A must call if you are doing a furnace!

Cozy World was one of three contractors I asked to quote on the job of installing a new furnace. Their quote was $2500 less than the others and came with a more extensive warranty, and a warranty that did not have to be attached to a "service package" in order to be valid. Boris was extremely professional and helpful, explaining everything to me in clear and respectful terms. He had no interest in gimmicks. The energy audit company he recommended was non-profit, meaning they were simply there to do the audit and did not try to sell me any other contracting services. The workmanship was quick, efficient and excellent. I strongly recommend Cozy World.

The Cozy World employees were very professional and did a great job. Boris told me that he doesn't spend much on advertising or marketing, and relies on word of mouth to attract clients. It seems to be working and their low overhead saved me $1000-$2000 relative to the two other quotes I got for comparable systems.

I had seen 6 contractors to replace my furnace.Cozy World was the last one and the one I chose.I would recommend Boris company to everyone.These guys are customer oriented,detail oriented, very professional , very friendly and they mean business.If you looking to replace your furnace or air , stop looking and hire Cozy World. These guys will sell you a good product, install properly and won't take your skin !
