Ed was referred to us by friends who said his work is meticulous and he is really pleasant to work with. That was exactly our experience as well. His pricing is very reasonable and the quality of his work is outstanding. We were rushed for time before we moved in and he accommodated our schedule. He has excellent decorating ideas and works closely with his wife Iris who has decorating and wallpapering experience of her own and coordinates Ed's work schedule. Together they wall-papered our powder room and did an excellent job. We are pleased to recommend both Ed and Iris for any and all painting and papering jobs.

We've used Ed & Iris to finish the basements of two houses and numerous painting jobs over 10 years. They are exceptional people: highly skilled, perfectionists, very easy to get on with and totally trustworthy. They stay within time & budget and explain extra jobs carefully. The most recent job was our kitchen/dining room repair & repaint - we were out the country, and asked them to do it on a time & materials basis. Ed did a fabulous job as usual, and the bill was reasonable. I can unreservedly recommend them.

We had quotes from a few different painters and although Decorators Choice was not the lowest price, it was in the ball park and Ed took the time to explain all the prep. work he was going to do before painting. We immediately had a good rapport with Ed and decided to hire him as he clearly understood what we were looking for. We also hired Iris for an hour to help with colour selection and that worked out great as, although we had a rough idea, we were able to quickly zero in on the specific colours. Ed did a very impressive, professional paint job. Although there was a fair amount of wall prep. work, Ed carefully covered furniture, blocked off other rooms, and left the living room very tidy when he was done. We will definitely call on Decorators Choice for all our future painting needs.

Decorators Choice were punctual from the get go other companies were late for the inital appointment. That punctuality continued into the job showing up on time and finishing the project when the stated they would complete the task. Their recomendations for colour for the house was perfect. Our home sold in two weeks and after the first week we recieve our first offer. Thanks to their great paint job.

I highly recommend using Decorator’s Choice no matter how big or small the job. I have used them several times over the past few years. Iris, Ed and staff were all amazing. They are very professional, trustworthy, and stay within time and budgetary restraints. I had some color ideas, but only for a few rooms. Iris was able to come up with a color scheme that tied the whole house together. She was able to come up with solutions to some difficult decorating situations. Ed is meticulous. I am very fussy about work done on my house, and he always surpasses my expectations. His drywall repairs and painting are second to none. I can’t express enough how amazing a job he and his crew did on sanding down my banisters and fireplace, and then putting on a beautiful stain and high gloss finish. If you are looking for something a little different, try some of the faux finishes that they offer. People always comment on how fantastic the faux finishes are in my house. You can’t go wrong by choosing Decorator’s Choice, especially if it’s a difficult job that no one else wants to tackle.

Decorator's Choice was first and foremost very professional and trustworthy. They came when they said they would, cleaned up the work area every day, and were able to give a realistic timeline of how long the job would take. The drywall repairs that were done were amazing. You have no idea where the problem was before. Overall, they very pleasant to deal with.

On the strongly positive recommendation of an interior designer, we first used Decorators Choice more than 10 years ago. As a result of the quality of their workmanship, we have turned to them whenever we need painting, finishing carpentry work, and wall papering, and have referred them to our adult kids needing this type of service. Ed is a perfectionist and is obviously very knowledgeable in his field. His work is top notch! We have received compliments from everbody who has seen the faux finishing that Iris has done. Iris and Ed are creative,honest and genuine professionals who know their craft very well. Iris has an amazing eye for colour and was able to assist me in chosing the correct colours for our new kitchen rennovation. She also suggested a perfect faux finish for one area of our rennovation that totally pulled the project together. Ed's attention to detail, honest manner and thoughtful work is unsurpassed. We made a call to ask for assistance with completing a quaint coffee shop in the village of Port Credit, and what we received from Ed was amazing. He not only performed what we asked to do, but added great input that made our cafe look even better that what we envisioned.
