    Furnace repair

    I purchased a new furnace from Enbridge and was enrolled in this insurance plan without asking. This past week was the first time I needed them, so I called them in and had to take a half day off from work. The guys showed up and reported that he didn’t have the parts to fix it. They suggested I remain home for the next 4-hour shift, and I agreed, but said I had to pickup my kids from school after 5PM. No problem, as they assured me they’d call before coming. I went to pick up the kids and came home 20-minutes later to a note saying they had come and gone. Angry, I called Enercare, and they first transferred me back into the phone system after I waited to speak with someone, and the next person just put me on hold for 25-minutes. The next day I called them to cancel my service with them, and they said a contract specialist wasn’t available, but committed to call me back in 2-hours. They didn’t, and I have not heard from them since.

    Maintenance

    The service technician Grant Harris was on time and was able to point out areas of concern and fix any problems. Checked both heating and cooling systems efficiently and quickly.

    Water Heater Rental

    Horrible experience, technicians came with wrong unit then wanted to charge us for electrical services. Electrical services was supposed to call us to set up appt. They never called so we called another company who came and installed a water heater same day with no need of any electrical services. New company also gave us 2 months free of rental . Avoid enercare

    Excellent, Professional service

    We recently had problems with our Central Air conditioning and the staff that came out to the house did an outstanding job in solving my problem. I had work done by Matt L., Frank A. and their supervisor Liz M. They completed the job in a very timely, professional, manner and I'd recommend them anytime! The biggest bonus was that my maintenance plan covered the costs, (all except for a government Environmental charge out of their control)

    Hot water tank repair

    Cory Green, our technical service representative was friendly, on time, and profficient. He explained what the problem was with the water tank. When we called enercare, they said they were booked for the day and gave us an appointment for next day. But Cory came from out of town to help. I would highly recommend to use Enercare services to others. Ketan and Alka Patel,Peterborough.

    new hot water tank install

    On October 2nd I called Enercare with respects to issues I have been having with my hot water tank. A service appointment was scheduled the next day. The technician arrived, checked out the tank and explained that the tank needed to be replaced. He set up the appointment for the following afternoon between 2 and 6 pm. When I arrived home at approximately 2:10 Adam and James from Simcoe Benchmark were waiting for me. I let them into the house and they rolled out the red carpet (literally) . They rolled out this carpet to protect all my flooring. The technicians were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The whole process only took a couple of hours. The whole process was totally stress free. The combination between Enbridge, Enercare and Simcoe Benchmark is a trio I will recommend to anybody.

    Water Tank

    Run away from this company. Upon selling my home I repeatedly tried to call and settle my account. I was constantly put on hold and transferred. I think their call centre is in India. Then I realized that since my home was build after 2010 that my contract wont expire until the water tank ceases to function. But, the real kicker is that i have to buy my water heater at an outrageous price of over 1200 but they refused to disconnect the tank or move it for me. That is their business isn't it...selling and replacing water tanks. Stay away from this awful company.

    Problem with billing

    I waited on hold for 20 min. before speaking with anyone. When someone finally answered and I explained the problem she transferred me to someone else without waiting for me to respond. After another wait time the person said that the office was closed, something that the first rep should have known, and to call back the next day. I tried to make an appointment for someone to check my water heater and he said that the soonest someone could come was THREE months later, in Jan. 2018. When I called back the next day the appointment was scheduled for the next week. Appalling customer service on the telephone. They just do not care!! Although I was very pleased with the service tech, Tony in London Ont. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. It is unfortunate that their first line people are so poor at their job.

    Furnace maintenance

    October 4th Norm Rollin from Enercare was on time, very professional, knowledgeable, friendly. He made a very thorough evaluation even adding interesting tips for us to follow. Norm explained very clearly what needed to be done. Great technician to deal with. Job well done! He also left his business card....thank you!

    Furnace service and maintenance

    Discovered our furnace wouldn't come on. At my request, a technician arrived promptly the next morning. Discovered the problem quickly and explained everything very clearly. Problem solved at no extra cost (have protection plan). Always on time, courteous, professional and thorough. Highly recommend them.
