    Hot water tank service

    Excellent same day service.very knowledgeable. Brought covers for his shoes. Explained everything clearly. Was done in no time at all. Explained other services that are available. I'm very impressed with the service.

    air conditioner seriving

    we were very impressed with technican Lorraine B..She was very personable, knowledgeable, and very efficient. . So much so, that were are using your company to clean the ducts. Larry and Jean Axcell

    Enercare Home Services - Plumbers

    Enercare has the worst plumbing services in the city. For the amount of money that you pay monthly for insurance their plumbers never arrive when they claim they will. Over the last month we have contacted Enercare several times. Three times the plumber never even bothered to show up or came several hours late. Today, a plumber was supposed to arrive between 12pm - 4pm and never came. When we contacted the company, they stated that there was a mistake and the plumber would arrive between 7pm - 11pm. At 8pm the plumber called our house and stated that he would not come to the house because he was not willing to park one block away. In other words, my mother waited 8 hours for a plumber that couldn't even be bothered to walk one block. What type of customer service is this! I'm disappointed with Enercare and the way they treat their loyal customers so poorly.

    Air condition repair

    Got same day appointment on the weekend. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable...explained in detail why the fan stopped working and why the part failed, showing how the old and new part looked. He had the air conditioner repaired in less than 1 hour. He explained all the charges in full. From booking appointment to job completion took less than 1 1/2 hours. Also, flexible payment options were available, from credit card to charging the gas bill...Ajax is in good hands!!

    Boiler and Water Heater

    Annual boiler maintenance included in $300 annual protection plan fee. Always speedy and courteous service. Our boiler and rental water heater work consistently well (knock on wood) with efficient customer service, included easy online access. Automated monthly payments are smooth as well.

    Furnace Service

    Pierre Prud'Homme from enercare did our annual furnace maintenance. He took the time to explain what he was doing and was efficiant and very pleasant. It truly was a pleasure dealing with Pierre and I can only say he represented enercare very well and is the consumate proffessional.I hope he will be my guy from now on. Peter

    Air Conditioner Installation

    Provided great service.My air conditioner broke down it was time for a new one. I called three companies. Enercare sent salesperson within two hours of calling. Price was very competitive with other two companies. My new air conditioner was installed within three days of calling. The salesperson Ron was able to answer all my questions. The installers were amazing, were careful with my house, cleaned up after they were done. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

    Customer service and billing

    We have a property with a tankless water heater, rented from Enercare Home. The tenant paid the monthly rental regularly, and when they recently moved out they closed their tank rental account, paying the balance in full. As owners of the property the water heater rental was transferred back to us. A few days later we received a bill from Enercare showing a balance of 1 year's rental for the heater - essentially billing us for the same year that the tenant had paid all rental fees, and cleared their final balance. When I called Enercare, their customer service people were of little help, essentially confirming that they could see the tenant had paid, and that we shouldn't have been billed. They explained that they would have to send it over to 'billing' and that it would take 48 to 72 hours to get a response. As it happens we have just sold the property, and have our lawyers closing the deal in 4 days. My issue is that a 'security' has been registered against the property by Enercare in the amount of what they say we owe them. So this is effectively going to put a wrench in the works to get the lawyer's paperwork finalized. To my annoyance, when I asked for an escalation, to get this reviewed by billing sooner, they told me that they have no direct or phone contact with billing, and all they could do was make a note on file, and wait for billing to get to my file. In these days of computers, networks, the Internet, and instant messaging, this is a totally archaic way of doing business, and extremely frustrating for customers. Enercare Customer Service is essentially a brick wall that prevents you talking to anyone directly about your bills. From this I really would not recommend anyone get into any kind of rental agreement with Enercare. Buyer beware!

    furnace check

    Enercare's technician, Greg , showed up on time and was very good about explaining the condition of our furnace. He was very knowledgeable and good about answering my questions. He obviously enjoys his work.

    A/C Repair

    My A/C fan seized and stopped working. I was given a 3-hour time frame for the technician to arrive a couple of days later. He arrived BEFORE the time! He diagnosed the problem right away, however, because of the age of the unit, I was advised that it may take a few days to locate the new part. Lo and behold, I received a call the same afternoon saying they would return - with the part - the next day. Ever prompt, Richard (the technician) returned, changed the part, and was on his way. Wonderful service!
