    Hot Water Heater Breakdown

    Horrible service. Hot water heater went out Monday morning and the earliest possible appointment was Wednesday night (tonight) between 6-10 pm. We called tonight at 7 pm and 9 pm to confirm that someone was coming and both customer service representatives confirmed a technician was on their way. As of 10 pm no one had arrived. We called back only to be told that the "appointment was not scheduled properly" and "there is a chance someone might be coming" and then "no one is coming". First off, how does it take THREE days for a service call. What do we pay our monthly rental fee for exactly? Then we are told the next available appointment is Sunday? You're telling me there are no technicians on call for repairs? We call our small mom-and-pop shop HVAC companies for repairs and they are there within 24 hours....really don't understand how that's possible.

    Air conditioner

    The service was arranged on the same day or the following day. Both technicians, Zaw and Rob were great. They both provided excellent services. Zaw introduced me the maintenance plan. Zaw was very experienced in identifying the root cause problem and fixed it accordingly. We are very pleased with the services.

    Hot Water Tank Replacement

    We needed to replace our hot water tank. Enercare was very pro-active, reliable and trustworthy. Everything was installed the same day. Our inspector Selim was very professional, polite and ensured we understood everything. The technician James and his assistant were very professional, friendly and informative. James took the time to explain how the new hot water tank functioned and answered any questions we had. We also enjoyed their sense of humor. Thank you so much for the fabulous work.

    Enercare delivers exceptional service

    I have had a maintenance plan for my furnace and air conditioner for the past seven years since I purchased them. Enercare's service is exceptional, and James is the rep who does all of my calls. He is courteous, personable and always professional, and I have complete confidence in his work. I am exceptionally happy with my Enercare Home Services plan and would highly recommend it to any homeowner.

    Replaced hot water tank

    Hotwater tank broke down yesterday. We called and had service early today. Replaced the tank the same day. Techs Chris and Frank very professional, friendly, informative, efficient workers. Took time to answer any questions we had so fully satisfied with service.

    Does not bother to diagnose old air conditioners

    We have been using Enercare for years to service our furnace. They kept telling us we need a new one, but the old one is still working fine. Then they came to check on the air conditioner that stopped cooling. It's about 30 years old, but was not used much over the years. They took one look at it and said we needed a new one. They didn't say whether or not they checked the freon level. Because it wasn't clear what they did (or did not) do, they came again. They changed the appointment to a time when a responsible family could not be there without verifying that it was ok to do that, and again said we needed a new air conditioner. So we called a small company for a second opinion. The other company came out, topped up the freon and now the system is working just fine. The other company said it's a really good unit that will last a long time. Enercare is not interested in fixing older units. They sole interest is to sell you a new one. Would not recommend them to anybody. We're not going to use them for our furnace anymore either even though there was one technician who I think was honest,

    Experience with plumbing issues through Enercare

    I applied for the plumbing programme last year through Enbridge Gas, and have had to use the service 3 times already - for flooded basement, for leaking kitchen faucet unit and lastly for an overflowing toilet tank. . Thanks to the affordable monthly charge, 2 of the visits were completely covered by the programme. One time there was a charge - only because I opted to replace my kitchen tap rather than have the old one repaired. I was informed about the extra charge prior to the work being commenced. I am so grateful that this programme is available, especially for those of us whose retirement income is less than adequate. This allows me to continue to cope with issues which arise in the maintenance of a very old house, rather than reluctantly having to give up my home..

    Tankless Water Heater Repair

    On Jul2,2017, there was no hot water in my house so I called and got the appt booked for the next day afternoon.... Danny McLeod was my technician. He came and cleaned the filter... and it was done quickly and simply. On Jul8, 2017 my water heater didn't work again but this time there was an error code 79 (which I didn't know because I thought it was 79 degree) and beeping. I called and got an appt booked in the afternoon. Charles Blaise was the technician and he found the water in the tank... Somehow with the heavy rain and the wind changed direction last night, it blew some water to the tank via the exhaust pipe... Charles took the time to take it apart, clean it up properly, spent the time to diagnose it properly... and fix it. He did it with such a dedicated care and I was impressed. I would definitely get him again. All in all, with these 2 unrelated service calls, I was impressed. This is a big change from Direct Energy... Thanks to you both Danny and Charles. Huy N.

    Service Tech... Seriously!!??

    When I called to inquire why the tech has not been to my home within the time frame I was given, I was advised the tech called his office and reported:" No vehicles in drive way/No answer at door"... SERIOUSLY??!! My husband took his vehicle to work, I had moved mine out of courtesy, so the tech would have room for their vehicle in our driveway. NOBODY came to our door. With 2 adults, one 10 yr old child and a couple of dogs in the house, we most certainly would have heard/seen if he pulled into the driveway or came to our front door, which was wide open! Just trying to fly through your Friday quickly eh bud!!?? Thanks for wasting MY day off work!, and waiting until the END OF JULY for another appointment.... I don't care, moving forward, I will be paying another company to come in and clean my furnace... Once, I can overlook... but not twice. Do you not pay your techs enough? I would think you do... maybe just the wrong people are working for this company.

    Air conditioning. furnace replacement

    My experience was amazing . Thank you to my salesman Ken Carson. .my installers Vincenzo Renda and Steve Walker. Their professionalism and knowledge was helpful and great. Thank you both for coming out and installing both units on such short notice. Plus the fact that I just got home from a week of hospital stay. And you all were so quick to come to rescue. Thank you and my appreciate you for your kindness so much. This company needs to reward great employees such as you ..Thanks again....a happy customer for life.... Gail Conners
