    Installation of Kitchen Faucet

On Friday, June 9, 2017 plumbing technician Rob M. came to my house to install a new kitchen faucet. I was very impressed with his knowledge, quality of work, professionalism and great Customer Service – I’m certain that he is an asset to Enercare. Should I require any plumbing service in the future, I will definitely ask for Rob M.

Hi Gina- This is great to hear, thanks for sharing your experience! I will pass your note along to Rob. Thank you!

Service to Furnace and two gas fireplaces

I paid nothing out of pocket for the visit, the tech was glad to show me my savings for maintaining my programme up to date. Very satisfied with everything done that day.

I new to water heater rental

After receiving 2 quotes (approx. $2000 and $2500) from plumbers to replace my 30 year old water heater I decided to rent this time. I was told that 90% of tanks are rentals. I hesitate recommending a company after a couple of weeks in and not really having experienced much (contract signing, delivery/product set-up & removal of old tank). However, thus far I have been 100% satisfied with Enercare and based on this early experience I decided to share.

Hi Karen- Glad to hear your first experience renting with us was a great one! Your note is much appreciated!

Installation Air Handler and Tankless Water heater

Recently we had Enercare to replace our very old furnace and water tank with a new system. We were impressed with our Enercare consultant Mirza Beg very knowledgeable guy, who recommended, taking in consideration the savings, the functionality and the rebates, to have installed a air handler and a tankless water heater as a replacement for our furnace and hot water tank. He knows the products and prioritizes clients so that everyone in need is cared for, he will make sure you will get looked after. On the day of installation, the installers Mike Menary and Gord White did a wonderful job for us, working hard to ensure that the installation is aesthetically pleasing and functioning perfectly. Thank you very much guys, for your great workmanship, professionalism and patience. Keep up the good work. Save yourself from calling multiple companies. Price is good compared to others, service is top of the line ! Would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of replacing their system. I will deffinitely call these guys again and I will use them for all maintenace in the future. Thanks Enercare!

    Horrible, horrible service

This company has been my service provider for over 15 years and my recent experience with them has been quite horrible: May 22 - called to report no hot water. Enercare sent a technician same day to repair. Hooray!! May 22 - called to report hot water worked briefly but is not working again. May 23 - Enercare sent another technician who installed a NEW rental unit. May 24 - Occasional faint smell of gas in the furnace room June 9 - Stronger smell of gas. Called Enercare. Told to call gas company. Gas company comes and detects a leaky valve. Gas company turns off unit, turns off gas, red tags the unit and tells me to call back Enercare. Call Enercare and speak to an agent who sets up an appointment between 12 and 4. Call Enercare at 4.05 to report that no one has come. Another appointment made for June 10th between 8 and 12 June 9 - Call from Enercare technician to say that he can come that same night, if that is okay. Technician shows up, says he cannot do anything with the unit because the gas company has turned off the gas. Technician reluctantly agrees to turn gas back on (handle the "gas company's property" as he puts it), inspects the unit and tells me that he has to order a new valve which should come the following day. The part is to be delivered to my home and I am to call Enercare when the part comes to have it installed. June 10 - part arrives at 3.30. Call Enercare and appointment is set up for a technician to come between 4 and 8. Call Enercare at 8.15 to report that the technician has not shown up and listened to jazz music until 8.45 while waiting for the next operator. Hung up and called again at 9.00. This time I only had to wait for 10 minutes before speaking to another operator who set up another appointment between 12 and 4 for June 11th. This same operator also tried to up-sell me more Enercare services and I restrained from using foul language. June 11 - Enercare technician finally shows up today and after inspecting the unit, informs me that the wrong parts were ordered and he would have to re-order the parts. No folks, I am not making this up. June 12 - The re-ordered parts arrive and I am waiting for a technician to install them. Maybe, I will finally have a hot shower some time today. The technician explained that some of the problems I experienced with the call centre service was because of system problems so I am deleting my comments on that part of the service.

    rental hot water heater

I thought you rent something to be free of the stress should something go wrong with it. This could be the farthest from the truth when it comes to Enbridge Enercare and home water heater rental. I had my hot water heater fail and had no hot water when i stepped into have a shower Friday night and called Enercare for service. Hot water is considered an emergency call and is typically addressed within a 24hr. period. To my surprise they told me the earliest appointment would be on the Tuesday morning between 8-12 but that someone would call on the Saturday to make arrangements to repair the problem. No call I called Enercare again and I was told that I had the appointment on Tuesday and that the service personnel are to busy to deal with my issue. I have to question why rent when you are left helpless and are forced to deal with a problem and pay for alternative emergency service. Do you think 4 days without hot water is acceptable ? I don't . Very disappointed and would not recommend them . If they ignore a hot water problem I am sure they would do the same with heating and AC.

    Gas furnance and Air conditioner

I had excellence service from the installer and the sale representative. They were both very informative and offer all the information needed for me to make the best decision. It was not about making the sale, I felt no pressure from the sale representative. It was like talking to a friend.

If you have a billing issue, you're screwed.

BE CAREFUL, as soon as you are billed, there's no going back. They will NEVER do refunds if something is improperly billed. We moved and therefore cancelled the same month that our Heating Protection Plan renewed and they forced us to pay for the ENTIRE 12 months for 2 weeks of service that we didn't use and we hadn't even used the previous year's service. NO COMPASSION WHATSOEVER and you can't speak to a manager. I'll never use EnerCare ever again.

    Appliance Repair

Horrible! I'm paying for a full home service plan and I've been without the use of my washing machine (and for a week now and no solution insight. Sadly, this is not the only example I've had to endure. Customer Care never deals with the problem but relies on scripted responses. WOW
