    Terrible experience

    A technician came in December to perform the yearly furnace maintenance. The previously functioning unit was left nonfunctional and he failed to leave any space heaters for my tenants who had no other source of heat in freezing temperatures. The technician was unreachable and I spent hours waiting on hold with Enercare only to be given lip-service by uninformed representatives that the space heaters were indeed coming, day after day. After 7 days without a working furnace, the space heaters finally showed up. All in all a very frustrating and in the end, costly experience for a homeowner. I was awaiting a call from a manager that was apparently put in the system but unsurprisingly never came. After cancelling my maintenance plan right then, I was now forced to call and cancel again 8 months later as I received my email notice of automatic renewal. Do not recommend this disorganized service.

    Air Conditioner

    BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE IN ALL LEVELS! I am not a person to ever write a comment or review on anything, but my experience with this company has surpassed anything i've ever seen. Started last week(Friday) when i realized the AC was not working however, i called the following week(Monday) as i had planned something for the weekend somewhere. Day 1. I called Enercare on Monday morning to send a service technician to fix the A/C. Two service technician arrived as scheduled and assessed the A/C unit, and later told me that they could not fix the machine as it needs some parts replaced/fixed and they need to reschedule another visit and assured me that the A/C will be fixed the following day. During this home visit, one of the technician was on his phone the whole entire time texting and smirking while the other technician doing all the assessment on the A/C. Day 2. Technician arrived as scheduled, pulled out the A/C unit and brought it to the hallway exit to fix. 30 mins later they informed me that there's another issue that they found with the machine and they had to reschedule another visit. At this point i had to keep my cool as two of my friends were over for dinner, so i asked the technicians to ensure that it will be fixed the following day. He assured me that it will be fix first thing the following morming as they are in the area around 8am. So i agreed with the schedule and told him that i will be here until noon the next day. They then returned the A/C unit back to the room and left the building. Same technician called back(30 mins later) and informed me that it would be best if he took the unit with him so they can start working on the unit in their warehouse. At this point i was just scratching my head and got so annoyed as it took two visits to realize the problem with the A/C and had to book another day.. Day 3. Since i was assured that they will be in the area from 8am, i had called my work and informed them that i will not be working today and can only take emergency calls. 12pm had passed and still no call from Enercare or their technician. So i decided to call them and found out that the appointment that was made for my unit is from 12pm-4pm. At this point i was out in the community as i had received an emergency call. Approximately around 2:30pm, i received a call from our property manager and informed me that the technician had arrived to install back the unit but unfortunately i have already left the home, i informed them that i can be back in 1 hour to which the technician agreed to wait as they are also working with other customers in the same building and by the time they're done i should've been back. 30mins later(3pm) i received a voicemail from the technician stating that they have to leave and cannot wait any longer. I called them back 3x but to no avail. At this point i was so upset, i called Enercare and spoke to Tim who is the supervisor and assured me that they will reschedule the same day. I was assured by the supervisor that the technician will return with my A/C unit between 4pm-8pm today, so i was a little relieved. 15mins later Enercare called me back to say that they cannot send the technician back and have to reschedule the following day again as they are short staff. At this point i was through the roof, after explaining everything that i went through with them, they do not seem to care. The last person i spoke to was just rude and did not even try to sympathize with the situation. No reassurance from her whatsoever. I'm through the roof with this company, from the customer service to their technicians to supervisor who completely misled me to think that they will come back, just seem so incompetent and could not get things right. i see a lot of good reviews on here, but i also think that new customers should be aware that these issues may come up and hopefully does not happen to anybody else, especially to seniors living alone or have no support system. This week have been one of the worst/hottest weather this year and i have no A/C(literally). They have my A/C unit somewhere out there and hoping that they show up tomorrow as planned. Tomorrow will be Day 4 thats if they can get the unit up and running, if not i might as well sleep elsewhere. Please think twice before choosing this company. Worst customer service by far. Not to mention, this will be the 3rd time this year the machine have broken down. Please be careful!

    Annual Furnace/Air Conditioner Maintenance

    When I phoned to book my annual furnace and air conditioning maintenance, it was easy and straightforward as to setting a date that was convenient to me. The service contractor, Dan Donnelly phoned prior to arriving which I thought was very considerate. Dan was the most thorough technician that I have had do these annual check-ups. He didn't seem to mind that I was near-by during his maintenance work on both units. As a matter of fact, he seemed to appreciate that I was there and he spent time, explaining exactly what he was doing each step and telling me what he was looking for. Plus, he answered all my questions no matter how mundane they might have been. I was most impressed and will ask for him personally next year when I have my maintenance done on both the furnace and air conditioner. I felt the maintenance was done with care and not rushed just to get on to the next job. Enercare and other maintenance companies need service people like Dan. Kudos. Job well done.

    Cleaning servicing for my Furnace and Aircondtioner

    Enercare cleaned and serviced my Furnance and Aircondtioner at very reasonable price, I would definitely recommend Enercare to service any heating and Aircondtioner issues you have in your home!!! Very Happy Customer Nino Pozzi.

    Awful service I have ever had in a customer service based company.

    The "customer service" reps have been God awful towards me. They even hung up the phone on me while I was talking. Their attitude has shocked me . It's sad they still can even keep their jobs. Poor management I suppose.

    Heating and Air Conditioning Repair

    Customer service through and through is second to none. Repair people are always courteous, on time, efficient, dedicated, caring and professional. I've had many experiences with repair people and I can honestly say that Enercare is the best. You can always expect excellence when you call to make an appointment, right trough to the completion of the job. I would highly recommend to anyone that has a five plus year old furnace, and air conditioner to enroll in Enercare's protection plans. If something happens, and it will, and it always happens during a heat wave or in the freezing cold, where you are left without air conditioning or heat. Having Enercare's heat/cooling protection plans ensures that you will have prompt service and your problem will be fixed, usually within a 4 hour window. Everyone wants a repair person that they can trust, a person who is knowledgeable and an expert in their working capacity, a repair person who doesn't cut corners so they can leave early, a repair person who takes their time and makes sure everything is studied and fixed and a repair person who isn't dishonest, to make more money. That is what you get with Enercare, not to mention excellent service from everyone involved from making the appointment to finishing the job. Enercare is the best at what they do. Don't even think about going anywhere else. Enercare is second to none. In my opinion, the best in the business.

    Air Conditioner Repair

    Rep receiving call was personable and accommodating. Appointment booked for the next day which I was happy about cause it was a really hot day and would not have been able to survive another day without A/C. Service Technician was on time - in fact earlier than beginning of block which I appreciated. Service Technician affable, experienced and got job done in reasonable time. Lucky I had the Home Protection Plan so didn't have to pay for the service call. I was happy with this experience mostly due to the service tech, Edward Chan.

    Water Heater replacement

    " The water heater was installed and the old one remove by two technicians who were polite, competent, informed and organized. They explained things like the temperature setting etc. I was most impressed. "

    Furnace air conditioning install

    Very friendly professional and tidy. Very knowledgeable staff all questions answered very pleased. Definitely recommend this company to everyone even the salesman jeff was very knowledgeable and the whole installation was punctual.
