    They had surprising hidden fees and made me be out of hot water & AC for 10 days

    1. Ignorant sales person. I was upgrading my hot water tank to a tankless boiler. They brutally removed the old tank only to find that I need an extra pressure test and engineering review from TSSA, which took 10 more days to settle, during which time I lost hot water and AC (fan coil). It was painful to make it through the 10 days and I got NO compensation from Enercare. All you need is an ignorant sale person who is predatory but having no knowledge about what it takes to install a hot water boiler. 2. Careless technicians. After the technicians cut the water and gas lines to remove the old water tank, they just left the open water pipes to damage my floor. When I turned on any water tab in the unit, the open water pipes started to leak water to the floor of my laundry room. I called/texted/emailed them like crazy for a few hours and they finally sent a plumber to put caps on the pipes. Again, no compensation. 3. Hidden fees out of my pocket. TSSA needed to review the result of the pressure test which generated a cost. As I mentioned in 1, the sale person didn't know how the reviewing process works and simply hogged me into paying some random fees for the review. The payment ended up nowhere because it wasn't the right payment channel for the reviewing work. As a result, TSSA sent an invoice to me a week later about it. I reached out the sales person about a resolution and he has been hiding from me. Now we are in a small amount dispute.

    Boiler repair service

    Reason to give 8 out of 10 Quick phone response. Reasonable appointment time for the repair Technician is polite and explaining what's best for the equipment for long lasting usage Appointment email followed by the call to confirm the appointment Reason to give -2 out of 10 Previously I called to check whether I have repair cover for the boiler and told me that it's not covered. It took 4 days to find other technician then called back Enercare to get the $99 service and told me that it's covered. Both $99 for on-demand repair visit and monthly payment for the coverage service $50 prices are high.

    Terrible company - avoid at all costs

    I called them for maintenance on my furnace (routine check up). They told me there was a crack in my heat exchanger. They insisted to shut down my furnace and refused to turn it back on. It was -30 at the time, so I was in a panic to get this turned back on so we would not freeze. They did not provide temporary heaters. They sent a guy who recommended I buy an AC/Furnace combo from them. The furnace was not installed properly had to call them back half a dozen times because it kept shutting down. I had to prove that there was an issue with my brand new furnace (bear in mind the old furnace never had a noticeable issue). They left the AC on the side of the house unconnected. 6 months later it is 25 + C and I am still trying to get them to connect it and billing has started for an unconnected AC unit.

    Air conditional annual Service

    Very polite. Remove boots. Turn thermostat to air. Checked in furnace room. Hosed out air conditioner to remove any leaves.

    Air-condition repair gas leakage

    Enercare staff did an exceptional job. They changed Coil. I have protection plan with enercar,so I saved labour and parts cost. I paid $563 for checking leakage. Thank you Enercare.

    I just signed up for Enercare Total Home Protection and Maintenance plans and was able to immediately obtain a thorough maintenance visit. The technician (Derek Phung) was knowlegable and very courteous.

    I had such a wonderful experiences with Darlene whom works for Brampton customer service for Ennercare at Brampton location. She helped me to book and get the problem solved. As a homeowner I would like to share this positive experiences with all Ennercare customers who need help. Darlene is a person you can count on when it comes to deal with issue.     Duct Cleaning Services and Furnace Maintenance

    Shahid who did the duct cleaning service at our house did a very thorough and excellent job! He was very polite and well-mannered individual with very pleasing personality. He answered all the questions that we asked and explained the things clearly. At the end got our signature on the contract / quote sheet and gave us a copy. The person who came for the heating / furnace inspection was also very nice and did his job well. He may have been very busy and came at the end of the appointment window. Finished his job quickly and left. He was also nice. Sent the receipt electronically.

    Furnace repair

    Recently (April 27/2023) suddenly, my furnace stopped working. Though we are in spring the temperature outside was below 10°c. I was happy the very next day got an appointment. Lodhi the tech expert did an amazing job. He did diagnostic tests and determined the root cause of the problem. This led to the replacement of the Furnace Control Circuit Board (approximate cost without maintenance plan $1,820) at No COST to me. I have a maintenance contract which includes parts, service, and labour. Lodhi was kind to explain the process, and offered practical suggestions. Many thanks to Lodhi for his advice and friendliness.
