Probably the worst experience I have ever had with any trade (and I have done many renovations in my life). I contracted with Domani Kitchens who I later learned subcontracts all its work to Empire who builds and installs as well. Domani seems to be just a selling machine. Oscar of Domani and Harry/Sammy from Empire could not keep a promised date and never effectively kept a date they promised. A one month job took 7 months. Oscar of Domani was pleasant enough when we eventually talked but he produced no results. Promises of delivery were made over and over again and dates passed each time. He refused to return my deposit each time we talked. Sammy from Empire was another story. The untrue stories about everything, like "it's built and we're just putting finishing touches" lost their meaning after awhile. I then insisted on visiting the plant to confirm the unit was in production. I was surprised that he would meet with me only to state that construction of the unit had really not begun. Then another guy Harry took over (although we never actually spoke). He was always out when I called. I only spoke to the receptionist for the last 3 or 4 months who relayed messages to me. They attempted to deliver and install even though the units were incomplete and then threatened me with $500 delivery if they came again and could not install. They insisted on cash on delivery, for which I was given a receipt. The design was very good however, the units once installed were inferior. The doors now hit each other, the paint is cracking just a few months after installation. They did not build it right either with the drawers smaller than specifications so I can't put legal files in as planned. They never returned to put on the handles nor install shelves so I have had to arrange for that work to be done myself. I still owe them $1000 and hope they sue me for it. This is the worst experience ever. Interesting enough, the person who recommended Domani to me is also having huge problems with these guys as well. I would not recommend either Empire or Domani unless you are looking for a lot of aggravation and poor workmanship. April 10 2009- Oscar's response is incorrect and ridicluous. He has clearly forgotten my complaint email sent to him on November 19, one day after installation. He ignored it for 5 months like most of my other complaints. How can a customer be satisfied with a bookcase that has no shelves or handles to open the doors? The library bookcase also had no handles to open drawers or doors. July 17, 2009 UPDATE- Haven't heard from Oscar at Domani Kitchens since he called me in early April 2009. Still using my cupboards without handles. On my next update, I will provide pictures of the unit. I have been in contact with 2 other customers who are equally upset with Domani. Anyone who rates Domani as a 10 must be a relative of the the owner! October 2011 Update- To Oscar's credit, in the last few months he finally attempted to correct deficiency's from years ago. He arranged to install the handles. Some doors had warped and he replaced them. Regrettably the drawers cannot be remade to hold legal files as ordered without redoing the entire unit. I chose to live with what I have. Oscar agreed to waive the remaining $1000 owing. Although my experience with Domani has been frustrating, I appreciate his recent efforts to finish the job.

From the moment we walked into the Domani Showroom, Oscar had us at HELLO. We were captivated with the design, quality and craftman ship of the kitchens that were on display. we searched long and hard for a company that we would intrust to make our dream kitchen a reality. After sitting down with Oscar and his design team we were extremly happy with the level of their professionalisim and product knowledge. Needless to say our kitchen is spectacular, Thank you Oscar and all involved for an outstanding on time delivery and installation. we would strongly recommend Domani kitchens to all who appreciate attention to detail.

We are very pleased with Oscar, his experience has been very helpfull. Building i new home is very hectic, we are glad that we chose Domani Kitchen. Every thing is going very smooth. I would definitely recommend Oscar.

My experioence with Domani was smooth. Oscar the owner provided prompt service and deadlines were met on time. the work and product was upscale and to my satisfaction. the end result was more than I expected>If you are looking for exclusive and classic cabinetry, Domani Kitchens would be your choice. Over and above a cabintry provider, they were knowledgeable and resourceful with the products required to complete my bathrooms! Thanks Domani Kitchens for a great job.

We needed to renovate our kitchen and so we called our personal friends who had work done by Domani and they recommend Domani Kitchens to us “ as the place to go." We went to their showroom with an idea of what we wanted, Oscar and his team then designed a unique layout, which has made the kitchen more functional, more easily accessible and has given us more are to work with. This was lacking in the original kitchen design. (installed by the builder) The kitchen cabinets are of outstanding quality, the colour and design will last for many years. The quality you see in the showroom is what you will get in your new kitchen…no surprises. The workers did the job in an efficient and timely manner; their professionalism and craftsmanship are very evident in the finished product. We found Oscar and his team to be friendly and professional through out the project………the after service was just exceptional. You can be sure that Domani Kitchens will give you excellent customer satisfaction, commitment and the personal attention that you expect. After all, don’t you want to done it right from the start? The final test was our families who came over to visit (inspect) and they loved our new kitchen. Lets face it when family member or a personal friend comes to you for a referral……...Don’t you want to give them the best?

We just purchased a new house and upgraded our kitchen and bath. We looked around and the company that looked most promising was Domani Kitchens. They were exceptionally skilled in helping us choose colors and wood quality that matched our decor. When the job was done, they went out of their way to make sure we were fully satisfied. The finish product looks amazing! We would definitely refer them again and again!

Job was well executed for our bathroom renovation. We had a small space to deal with and everything fit perfectly. Price of job was reasonable considering the work and time Other contractor involved (tile setting) G58 Design and Consulting was also very professional and creative.

Recently, purchased a new kitchen from Domani Kitchens. My overall experience was very good. Oscar provided us with a detailed drawing and a well laid out cost estimate,no hidden costs. The work was done on time and in an orderly manner. We were very happy. We are still receciving on going complements from our freinds on how great our kitchen looks today.

My husband & I were very pleased with our new kitchen and so were all our friends & family! It is breathtaking, very simple, yet elegant and very affordable, as well as unique. A solid walnut finish throughout and no fad's (no 2 tone mixes). We will definately send some referrals!!

We purchased new Kitchen & bathroon cabinetry and were very impressed with the quality of the product. We had shopped around and were concerned with hidden costs and extras. Domani was very transparent with material and installation costs. The cabinetry was received on time and installed promptly. Overall, we were very happy with the product and service. Would definitely purchase from this company again!
