    Unclog a bathtub drain

    We had an excellent experience from the first phone call to the end result. Mike thoroughly snaked the drain in the bathtub. Mike left the tub cleaner than it was before he came, and the water drains better than it ever did since we moved in! Mike clearly explained everything to us. I would highly recommend Drainworks to everyone, and wouldn't hesitate to call them next time I have a drain issue. Thank-you for resolving our issue quickly, honestly, and professionally! Great work!

    Full drain/pipe replacement inside/outside

    After extensive flooding in our basement, we hired Drain Works to do a full replacement on our inside and outside pipes. Their cleanliness, professionalism and excellent communicating made an otherwise horrible job completely painless. They left the work site in even better condition than they found it. I was particularly impressed with how, after digging up our entire front yard, there was almost no sign they had even been there after everything was backfilled. I highly recommend this company.

    Swage drains blocket by roots

    A good overall experience. Very good customer service from both the phone call and arrivals. Team worked very hard on site and was consciencous of my neighbor and clean up. Unfortunately, the job turned into a bigger one once a hole was opened up. I would have preferred a lower cost for the additional work, but they took a bit off. Overall I would recommend them.

    excellent and efficient service punctual and tidy cost met quote explained repairs underway & ways to prevent problem recurring in future definitely would use again will recommend to friends extremely professional service and communication worked quickly and knew how to deal with problem

    Roots in sewer line

    Mat came to our home within 1 hour of our call. Assessed the problem and fixed it! We were very please with the service and professional manner in which he worked - he even wore booties in our home to cover his shoes and leave no dirt.

    Bathtub fixture replacement

    I have used DrainWorks' service many times over the years, and they have always given me superior service. Their latest job with me was to replace a bathtub/shower fixture. Arrangements over the phone were efficient and courteous, and Chris and an assistant came out the next day. They laid out my options and the job cost clearly. The work involved removing a toilet and opening up a stub wall, a tricky job, but they did it without any cutting and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. Chris even tightened a loose towel rack for me! These guys are the best.

    shower drain was blocked

    Jeremy from Drainworks arrived and was professional and concise. Shower drain works fine now. I was advised of cost on the phone at time of booking and also by Jeremy prior to him starting. Find the price of $190 a bit much...but nonetheless, happy with the experience.

    Declogging of Drains

    Clogged kitchen sink

    Our kitchen sink was clogged and no amount of plunging would fix it. The first great thing about Drainworks was the informative communication from their call centre. They indicated that a technician would be available between 7:00 and 9:00pm to come by and look at the issue and provide an on the spot quote (and fix it as well if I wanted to proceed). The agent indicated they would call when the technician was on his way. Sure enough, a call came in around 7:30pm and Jeremy was on my doorstep around 7:45pm. Friendly guy who looked at the issue and provided a quote. About 1-hour later the issue was fixed, he explained what he did, and provided suggestions on ways to avoid it moving forward. No mess, no fuss, and I have a draining kitchen sink about 3-hours from my first call to Drainworks. And there was no difference in cost for the service being performed in the evening rather than the day.

    Replace partial pipe outside due to tree roots

    My basement drain backed up with sewage. Drainworks came and gave a detailed quote. Things happened as they were supposed to and there were no surprises. I would recommend them again. All that said, I find the services very costly. Of course, most home owners would want to know what has caused a back up and would need to use the camera option. I feel that this is an easy way to add $200.00 to the bill for Drainworks. It's like the owner has no choice and the bill automatically ends up in the $400.00 range. You should consider removing the cost of the camera from the job should the owner decide to go ahead with hiring Drainworks to fix the problem.

We would, however, like to take a moment to address your concern regarding the cost and need for a camera inspection. The issue at your home required both a snaking and a camera inspection. We did give you a discount on the camera because we did the snaking at the same time. The service of a snake and camera is separate from any excavation work that may be required. As such they are written up separately and are individually fully chargeable. At DrainWorks we are honest and upfront, we will not pretend to remove the cost of a camera as bait to get you to agree to an excavation and then tack the charge on to the additional work without you knowing. We hope we have shed some light on the issue. We do look forward to being your plumbing and drain service providers.
