    Replaced old pipes grown over by tree roots

    Armando Gatti from DrainWorks was excellent. He arrived at the very beginning of his arrival window and quickly assessed the problem. His team was back within days to fix our pipes. They had to dig out our basement and driveway and managed to leave the smallest holes possible. The job was done quickly, efficiently and most importantly neatly! The team left our basement and driveway in better condition than found. I would highly recommend DrainWorks.

    roots were blocking my bathroom basement drain so bad it was totally blocked and the family was not able to use the toilets

    tree roots were growing in the drainpipe in the basement toilet area so bad that the blockage was not allowing our family to go to the bathroom...what a horror... with a stroke of luck the yellow pages opened to Drainworks and I called immediately 8 am Tuesday May 5, 2009 and at 10.00 am as promised, Mike Dunn et al were at my door and down in the basement checking the situation and immediately after an agreement was made started working on the problem and had everything finished by Thurswday afternoon... THANK YOU MIKE DUNN et al for the wonderful care and excellent job that was done so well, timely and put me and my family at ease....I wish more people like Mike and Drainworks cared and helped...I can tell you how much we appreciate and thank you.....ms

    drain work in basement -- 8 inch tree roots

    We had a basement back up - caused by tree roots. Scary stuff was coming up from the basement drain. The Drainworks people came right away and assessed the job with the use of a camera -- much like a medical procedure. They fixed the drain - dug down, removed 80 year old crushed pipes and replaced with plastic ones that will last forever. They put us in touch with the City of Torontp Tree Root inspector who came to examine a root that looked like a tree branch. All Drainworks staff were prompt, courteous, efficient, clean and in general the experience was extremely positive.     Clogged kitchen sink drain

    Armando was very courteous, neat and clean. He snaked my drain 3 times and explained exactly how and why he did everything. We are very pleased with the work he did and would use him again.

    cleaned out drains

    Your company was a pleasure to deal with. John Paul the customer service rep who answered the phone was professional and made the whole transaction pleasant and easy. Jeremy the drain technician was also very pleasant to deal with. He wore booties and represented his company well as a caring and trustworthy type of company that actually cares about their clients and their clients’ homes. He took his time to understand the problem and provide the right solution. He was skilled and efficient completing the repair in a clean and timely manner. I will defiantly recommend Drainworks to my friends and family and will use them exclusively for all of my future plumbing needs.

    Blocked Toilet

    We had a clogged toilet on Saturday night. After unsuccessfully trying to clear the block ourselves we waited until Monday assuming that plumbers on the weekend would cost us triple. We called Drainworks on Monday only to find out that their costs are the same 24/7 which is great news to know from now on. Jeremy Harris explained the costs and procedure. He was efficient and extremely courteous.

    clogged toilet

    The men from Drainworks were friendly and professional. They gave us clear options and did the work efficiently. They also cleaned up after themselves, so there was no work left for us. I would use this company again.

    Clogged Shower Drain

    We needed to have someone inspect the gradual drain flow degradation... especially in our shower stall. I sent an online booking request through the DrainWorks website. Two minutes later, a DrainWorks representative politely called and promptly slotted me in the same day. Matt Achcinski arrived at the door right on time to assess the problem (complete with a shoe covers!). He checked all the bathroom elements thoroughly while giving me an impromptu Plumbling Maintenance 101 overview which was extremely helpful. Once he localized the problem, he quickly tarped the area and proceeded to clear the blockage. The bathroom was spotless after he completed the work. I can't imagine getting better service from initial engagement to finish. I now have only one number to call if I ever have any plumbing issues in my home.

    Remove trap and breather and replace with 4" pvc

    We experienced a flood in our basement on a Sunday night - that night we e-mailed a few people asking for some recommendations for a plumber and Drainworks came highly recommended. I called the next morning and Mike arrived very promptly (within half an hour of my call). My husband was out of town so I was left to make the arrangements for the repair. As a woman I'm always wary of trades because I feel generally the trades are very dismissive of women and prone to pressure and overselling. What a delight to have the extremely professional staff at Drainworks. From the telephone reception to the Mike and his crew everyone was great. I received a quote, the crew was there on time the next morning. They worked all day in the rain, finished on-time, gave me the number to call for the city to do their inspection! I could not have asked for better service. I initially arranged to have Drainworks come the day after the work was complete for the final inspection and payment, however I ended up with another commitment the next morning. I called at the end of the day (4 p.m.) and asked if it was possible to have the inspection and payment the same day and within half an hour Jeremy arrived to do the final inspection. Even though he had not been involved in the project he was fully informed and was able to finish everything within 45 minutes. What a great company. While I would be happy not to need their services again, if I do require any plumbing services, I would call them in an instant.

    Clogged drain in bathtub

    I had tried everything to unplug my bathtub drain with no success. I remembered that DrainWorks had given me excellent service previously when I had to have some sewer pipes replaced and so I called them. At 11 a.m. I spoke to Jean Paul and asked if someone could come asap as I do love my bubble baths! Jeremy arrived about 5 p.m. He quickly assessed the problem and provided me with an estimate which I agreed to. As he was working, he explained the whole process of what had happened and how he was going to fix it. After a few minutes with an electric snake the drain was cleared. He then did several tests to ensure that it was indeed running freely. While working, he noticed that my toilet was wobbly and needed to be stabilized. He told me it was easy to fix and quickly went out to his truck to find what was needed. To my delight, within minutes he had fixed it with a "skrim" (I think that's the word) and refused to charge me for this as it was a small job. It's been my experience that a large company will seldom do anything without charging. You can be sure I will call DrainWorks again the next time I have a p;umbing problem.
