    Fix out side tap and the in side pipe

    I am so pleased with the prompt response. I sent in the request on Wednesday and received a call from them Thursday morning. And Jim came that afternoon. I loved the little bootees that he put on. Jim was polite and very professional answer all questions he did a great job. I would call Drain Works again for any Plumbing job that I have.

    Diagnosed drain problem. Repaired and replaced pipe leading to septic, adding clean-outs.

    We received prompt service on the day the plugged drain problem occurred. Drainworks worker used a camera and snake to locate and fix the stoppage. On their recommendation they returned and replaced old, original cast iron pipe from house to septic. Added clean-outs to mitigate future problems. Excellent work.

    Excellent Job Clearing the Kitchen Drain Clog

    Very happy with how Matt from DrainWorks resolved my clogged drain. He was patient and very careful not to make a mess by laying down a waterproof cloth. He provided a walkthrough while he showed me how to remove the plastic pipe. Detected the clog (10' down the pipe) while snaking. He did some extra work addressing a light leak at the bottom of the pipe.

    Inspection of home drains and toilet repair work

    Called for a service call on a Thursday, and they sent Christopher to my home on Friday Came on time Was incredibly informative, and explained everything that he was doing, and as well, everything that needed to be done Was not rushed, answered all our questions and gave great service advice for maintaining the sinks and drains Christopher is a real pro, thanks!

    Basement drain replacement

    This was a very daunting project: all the sanitary pipes were to be unexpectedly replaced in our basement and part of our driveway. This meant breaking the concrete floor and a lot of mess - and all without time to empty the basement. Jim, Armondo and Eugene and his team were great. Eugene carefully worked around all our things and made great efforts to keep the mess to a minimum. They also made excellent suggestions - and really went the extra mile on this difficult job. Very professional and thoughtful team. Update: We had Chris in on Aug 14 to fix an unrelated problem that we had put off for a while: replacing two sets of stubborn faucets. One faucet set was quite corroded. Chris has fixed various faucets for us in the past and he is always thoughtful and meticulous, a professional who makes every effort to make sure the job is done up to his (and our) high standards. Thanks again.

    Replacement of sewage and storm pipes

    Drainworks provided a detailed quote for the job. We were given various options which allowed us to make an informed decision. The camera system allowed us to see the blockage. We have used Drainworks in the past and, once again, we were satisfied with their services. The staff was professional. The work is guaranteed and they got the job done on time.

    Outside water supply line fix

    I had drain works out for a little under two hours to help with the water supply line that had burst because the prior occupants did not winterize properly. About 2 feet of copper piping was replaced along with a water shutoff valve, so not a whole lot in the way of materials. So in my mind I have maybe $50-$70 in parts and 2 hours worth of labor which if you want to call it $100/$125hr should put the cost around $250-$320. I was initially quoted $384 but ended up getting charged $545.79 because there was a secondary hole in the line that may or may not have been there to begin with. My problem with this is not so much the quality of work but the value for the money especially now that I think about it the extra $100 charged for the second holdback in the line. Below are pictures of the work.

There are a myriad of costs involved with having a fully equipped licensed and insured plumber sent to the home, not just time and material, which is why when quotes are presented upfront, they are per task, so regardless of time or operational costs, you only pay what you agreed to proceed with before we begin. No surprises! The initial quote was for $384 + hst and you were made aware that if there were additional bursts, requiring additional service, there would be additional charges presented to you. You agreed to proceed with this. After the initial repair, and the discovery of the secondary burst, you were presented with the additional quote of $99 + hst upfront to repair it, and you agreed to do this too. It is displeasing that after the fact you would be dissatisfied since we always go to great lengths to be transparent and upfront with pricing and only proceed with service at the agreed upon price after we have your approval. Our customers are never forced to proceed with work if they are not happy with the price; it is their decision. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to call our office.

    Bathroom sink repairs (x2)

    Had two amazing experiences with DrainWorks and Chris Léger and can't recommend them enough. Super clean work, very knowledgeable and incredibly courteous and professional. The first time, we had a bathroom sink that rusted out to the point that the entire cold water handle broke off in my hand. Couldn't fix it myself so I called DrainWorks. DrainWorks sent Chris Léger and he did an amazingly thorough and expert job of installing a completely new tap/faucet combo. He suggested I change out the drain/trap combo leading into wall as well as he could see that it was starting to rust out but I opted to not do it to save cost. Bad idea, because exactly as Chris predicted it might, the drain/trap combo broke about 3 months later, creating a giant leak. So, we had DrainWorks/Chris come back a second time to replace the drain/trap and all the piping going to the wall. He did an equally amazing job the second time around and never even said "I told you so" :)

    Replacement drain pipes, interior and exterior, new floor drains

    I first hired DrainWorks in July 2016 re new backwater valve and replacement trap etc. They were so helpful from the get go, very informative, took the time to show me when they were inspecting the pipes with their snake camera, and review things with me, applied for the required permit, and even assisted with my application to the City for a partial rebate. The work was done in a couple days, and they left the property very neat and tidy. Armando showed me that I would also need to replace the drain pipes in a relatively short while but for the time being they flushed them. Then in June 2017 they came back and replaced 20 feet outside drain pipe from the house to the City line, and 45 additional feet of drain pipe under the house, which included digging several feet below the foundation, along with plugging up the previous drain and putting in two new drains, all of this done in less than 3 days. Again, when they were finished, the entire property inside and out was left in immaculate shape. While the work was in progress, Armando was by the house each day, sometimes more than once, to inspect as the job was being done and answer any questions I had. He was also a phone call away at any time, day or night. Plumbing woes can be very stressful. These guys are consummate professionals. I highly recommend them.

    Replace Shut-Off Valves

    We had several leaking faucets. Chris came, explained everything, provided an estimate, and performed the work expertly. We knew exactly when Chris was arriving because J.P. called in advance to let us know. Even though they are not cheap, I recommend Drain Works.
