    replacement of sewage drains, over 3 townhouse units

    An ongoing sewage problem was finally addressed by ourselves and became much more complicated as work progressed, expanding beyond our own townhome into two neighbouring ones. Mike Dunn was extremely personable; work was explained thoroughly; money paid certainly in keeping with the days of work. The team worked as neatly and cleanly as possible. in this kind of situation.

    blocked kitchen sink

    It all came down to customer service and communication, After emailing Drainworks to set up an appointment, I received a phone call 5 minutes after pressing send. William then proceeded to schedule my apointment and followed up at least 5 times to confirm their schedule. A live person makes a big difference whenit comes to response times. They sent Lou a great technician who cleared the blockage with a 35 ft pipe snake and was upfront about the charges and the estimate. I appreciate the honesty and recommendations for maintenance. A great service for anyone in Etobicoke. hopefully we wont need them again but would reccomend them to anyone.

    rotted shower drain leaking & staining livingroom ceiling

    My experience from the first call to paying the bill was great. JP was polite, followed up, confirmed the appoinment time & Mr Burns was on time, polite, honest and pleasant. Because of the location of the damage on my livingroom ceiling it would have been very easy to tell me they had to do a much bigger and more expensive job but he was honest and completed the job under the estimate - that just does not happen anymore. Such a pleasure to do business with this company.

    Copper main water service

    Although my domestic plumbing is all copper it connects in my basement to an ancient lead service that I'd hoped to replace when the city got around to removing lead pipes from old neighborhoods. (I'm still waiting on that.) Meanwhile a leak developed somewhere on along the lead line. I checked Homestars and chose Drain Works because of all the recommendations. They had someone drop by within hours of my phoning. He explained what would be involved and gave me an estimate, explaining that this would most likely be the final price (+HST of course) unless something really unexpected turned up. A work crew of three arrived promptly the next morning. They had to remove part of my front porch steps in order to dig -- on a miserable cold day -- but completed the work by evening. During this time they also put a camera into my main drain to check its condition (all ok). Also a supervisor dropped by to check on everything. The final cost was as stated. Everything was explained clearly at every stage and the work done very professionally, including cleanup (they were very good about covering their boots when coming indoors) and putting my steps back. My water pressure, incidentally, has notably improved.

    Remove Sewer Clay Tiles with PVC Pipes

    On Dec.30,2010, I experienced a sewer-back-up in my basement. I called another company, whose telephone number I found in my home files. They came and 'camera-inspected' the sewer pipe leading from my basement to the public main drain. The written repair quote for replacing the sewer pipe was well over $8000, ('camera-inspection' incl.) The next day I consulted the Yellow Pages and among others, I found DrainWorks. I called them and explained my problem; and that I had a detailed quote in writing. William asked me to send the quote by fax so he could see what needed to be done. I did that. Shortly thereafter a technician called me back and said, they could do the work for a lot less money, but they would have to do their own 'camera inspection' to establish as to what needed to be done. Armando came by, fed the camera through the pipe; then explained me in detail and patiently the two options I had. I decided for a complete replacement (of the broken clay-tile sewer pipe) with PVC pipes. DrainWorks charged me at least 15% less for the same job, with the same materials/process, with the same life-time-warranty! DrainWorks completed the job within two days and to my entire satisfaction; and at a much lesser cost. I would recommend DrainWorks anytime to anyone ! Thank you for a job well done !

    Plugged Drains, Backed Up Sewers

    Made the call to Drainworks at 3:30 pm and by 6 pm it was done on the same day! Jeremy Harris was polite, fast and efficient. Thanks so much for unclogging the drain. Jesse

    plugged main drain from house

    I called and received an appointment within 24h of my call. The gentleman who came was on-time, pleasant and efficient. The issue was fixed and he didn't try to "up-sell" me.

    Polite Intake worker when I called. Prompt response (same day). Matt Achcinski, Drain Technician was polite, informative, professional,and friendly. Matt was thorough and determined to solve what was causing the back up. Thank you.

    Clogged drain

    I was very impressed by the prompt efficient service that I received from Jean-Paul and Matt at Drainworks. Matt arrived in less than 2 hours and then diagnosed the problem, provided an estimate and unclogged the drain, also in less than 2 hours. He was pleasant, courteous and more than willing to answer my questions.

    snaking the basement pipes both under and outside the house

    What a great experiece right from my phone call to having a same day service call. Jeremy was very pofessional and honest.
