    Drain Pipe Replacement

    As new homeowners, the replacement of our root infested drain pipes was unexpected and not something we were planning on investing our savings toward. Armando and the excavating team made our first experience improving our house easy to deal with as they were punctual, explained the situation clearly, and were very respectful of our situation. Thank you!

    Plumbing: the outside tap no longer stopped the water from running. Our stop gap measure resulted in the piping structure freeze too.

    Jeff was polite,cheerful from the very first contact.Jeff explained the process and listened to my concerns resulting in my feeling confident/with no need to worry.Cutting thru the wall to reach the damaged pipe was with minimal damage and the work area was left neat,clean.Your demeanour,your work and the outcome was much appreciated.Thankyou very much Jeff. From the first contact with this company all individuals I spoke with(3)proved positive and professional. We readily would contact this company again for other issues needing resolve. We would recommend DrainWorks to anyone who needs or speaks of requiring your expertise. The company's response to the emergency was quick and a relief.The appointment was also convienient for us.Thanks!

    Plumbing emergency

    Our drain was clogged and caused a flood in our basement. This happened on a Sunday evening, the night of the Superbowl. We called DrainWorks and a service technician, Jeremy, arrived at our door rather quickly, in about an hour. He was curteous, fast and very diligent. He provided us with thorough explanations and suggestions with regards to preventing this issue from reoccuring. We ended up paying $341 for the whole job, but we could see the whole pipe (60 feet) with the camera, making sure there are no obstructions. We can sleep soundly again! :)

    Drain snake, pipe thawing

    My kitchen drain pipe got blocked and then frozen. Snaking the drain didn't work at first because of the frozen section. With a little ingenuity the frozen bit was thawed so that the blockage could be cleared with the drain snake. Everything was done quickly and professionally. The technicians on site were great!

    Thaw frozen pipes

    Our water pipes froze a few weeks back and we called Drainworks to thaw them out. Their prompt and effective response was much appreciated as was the professionalism of the employee sent to our home. The work was done quickly, quietly and in an organized fashion. I have no concerns whatsoever about recommending DrainWorks.

    Backed-up drain

    Matt was awesome and extremely professional. We had a backed-up drain for the first time and called Drainworks to help via HomeStars. The little things impressed me, from wearing boot covers everytime he entered my house to cleaning up after he fixed the problem. The video camera was also a plus, which pinpointed the issue. Would highly recommend this company for plumbing issues.

    replacing drain pipes

    A nasty smell in the basement caused me to look up a pluming company on the internet. I couldn't have found a better one than DrainWorks Plumbing. Within an hour of my call somebody came to check out the problem, explained it in clear language while showing it with the help of a camera. The next day they fixed the problem in no time and I appreciated their punctuality,friendliness and professionalism.

    Tree roots in drains.

    This review is long overdue! I cannot tell you how happy we have been with the service we have received from Drainworks. We had an issue with drainage in our house which required diagnostics with a camera. It was discovered that there were tree roots in the drains and pipes which required them to be replaced, both in the driveway and under the basement floor. Mike Dunn took us through each step,explaining everything clearly and giving us quotes before any work was started. We could not believe our eyes when we returned home after the basement was dug out and it was in beautiful condition, cemented over as if there never had been an issue at all. Mike also spotted some further issues that we may want to keep our eyes on in the future. We were so happy with our service in the fall that we did not hesitate to call again when we had an unrelated issue with a toilet last week. MIke remembered all of the work that had been done previously on our house and fixed the issue at hand quickly and again always giving quotes before he proceeded. We really couldn't be happier with Drainworks' prompt response time and the quality of work! I have recommended them to friends with plumbing issues! Thanks again to Mike and Drainworks!

    small plumbing repair

    I called Drainworks on a Sunday and was given an appointment for 9 am the next day. Jeff came and assessed our problem, and also pointed out several other potential plumbing problems. Since the house is new to us, I appreciated knowing what needed to be fixed. In the end, I decided to get everything fixed there and then. So, the work was done well, Jeff really knew his stuff--I just wish plumbing fixes weren't so expensive! In retrospect, I could have shopped around more to try to find a cheaper company, but I know from past experience that plumbers' bills run high. All in all, GREAT service and a warranty on the repairs.
