    Paint/Colour Consultation

    Andrea was punctual, professional and overall a pleasure to deal with. She took the time to listen to my desired style as she understood that this was important to me. Andrea then explained the different combination of colors and how they work together. Our home has rooms and windows facing all directions. She meticulously selected the perfect color for each and every room. I HIGHLY recommend Andrea Colman.

    Colour Consultation

    Andrea came to my home, she is very down to earth and easy to talk to. She then sat down with me and asked me questions about what I like and don't like. We then went through my home and she picked colours . Andrea is very knowledgeable about colours and design, she gave me a sense of security and calmness. I am very happy with her work . She left me with a folder and samples, organizing me for the next step of getting my home painted.

    Main floor renovation

    Andrea, Nelson and Kimberly are such a pleasure to work with. Our project was to renovate and furnish the main floor of the house. We have a budget in mind but was not sure if everything we wanted to do would be do-able. We used the turn-key package for Andrea's services. Design and Sourcing: After the initial meeting to establish what we are looking for, we gave her a budget. Andrea worked within our budget and was able to deliver a design options that made our home finally feel like ours. Working with her made us feel like we have a trusted friend to make sure we have a design that looks good put together and sourced items that are within budget. She manages to strike the right balance of giving guidance and turning down bad ideas while still respecting our preferences. I was pleasantly surprised at how much she made herself available to us for design consultation, sourcing selection and being present to coordinate delivery and installation at the house. Working on the house: Nelson did most of the contractor work (kitchen reno, powder room reno, and repainting the main floor rooms) and we were very impressed at how he managed to do it while keeping the house life-able. He did the setup and cleaned up every day to make sure our daily life is not impacted too much. The work is done professionally and promptly. He was very courteous in answering our questions and accommodating to our tweaks along the way. Kimberly handled most of the e-mails and logistics coordination and he kept both us and Andrea+Nelson synced up very well. We are very pleased with the end result and highly recommend their services.

    Basement Reno and Living room reno

    An in-law suite was created by gutting an existing rec room. The full reno was done to high standards within a reasonable amount of time. No stress, an extremely professional job. In addition to the basement, a living room/piano room was redesigned and reno'd. It involved a demolition of a dated stone fireplace and creation of a more modern fireplace. The room turned out so beautiful. Our family and friends enjoy it so very much. The design done for both projects was extremely tasteful and incorporated the ideas and functionality of both spaces. The construction was done exactly as designed and planned. I plan on using Fine Finishings again I. The fall to reno the main floor of my home. Can't wait! Thank you so very much Fien Finishings!

    Painting and dry wall touch up

    On time on budget exceptional quality. Additional work required not an issue. Would recommend fine finishes to anyone requiring decorating and painting work completed

    Redesign of our first home

    We bought our first home several months ago, and thought it was a great home for us. After reading some reviews on different designers, we decided to contact Andrea at Fine Finishes. From the first call, she made us feel very comfortable and she explained all her services. We decided to go with the turnkey package as it was all inclusive. Our first meeting was to walk through our house, and explain what we liked and what we wanted to change. Andrea made suggestions and gave advise every step of the way. We ended up repainting the entire house, changing all the interior lighting, and completely renovated the guest bathroom. Andrea was able to work within our budget. Also, using Andrea's trusted vendors gave us peace of mind that the job would be done with the proper quality. Several neighbours have already complimented us on the changes, and are looking to do similar changes. When it came to furnishing, Andrea went with us shopping several times, including stores that are only opened to designers. She was more than willing to shop around to find us the best possible price. Andrea always made herself available when we had questions or needed follow up. I can see why most of her clients are returning clients. Andrea helped us create the perfect home for us, and we will be using her again the next time we decide to make any changes. We are more than happy to recommend Fine Finishes to anyone looking for a designer to improve their home.

    House exterior paint colour choice

    We have had a few projects with Fine Finishes (they are our first and only choice always!). This time, Andrea was called upon for a new challenge. I decided to finally buy a new garage door, a gorgeous fiberglass door. But...the dark mahogany I thought I chose, turned out to be very red in the sunlight! Yikes! Well I spent quite a bit of time fretting about what I could do. It totally did not go with our chocolate brown house paint color! So Andrea was called upon to choose for us a new house color that would somehow bring it all together, quite the challenge I must say. But she did what I thought would be the impossible, (and Fine Finishes did the painting too) and now it all looks so amazing!!! Wow, you have such the eye for colors and design Andrea, really impressive. Andrea once again you saved the day and came shining through for us, thank you! Vanna

    Condo interior paint & design

    Andrea was very helpful in providing design ideas for updating an older condo I recently purchased and also helped me choose a colour scheme for my interior painting. I ended up hiring her contractor, Nelson, to do all the painting and am very pleased with the results. I will certainly call on her for upcoming work!

    Kitchen/Family Room Renovation

    Andrea at Fine Finishes is a miracle worker. I recently renovated an original 1946 kitchen, including removing a wall to open it up to the living area. I was completely overwhelmed the number of choices and design decisions that needed to be made. Andrea is a true interior design professional, and made it so easy for me to make decisions by narrowing options based on my personal style and what would functionally work in the space. She was also instrumental in working with my contractor to relay out the floor plan to maximize my living space and ensure an optimal use of every inch of my small home. Andrea provided insight and ideas that I would never have thought of on my own, and now can't imagine living without. I've had so many compliments on my new space, with many friends commenting that it looks like a page straight out of a magazine. Andrea is a pleasure to work with, she is prompt and her services are reasonably priced. She is able to work within both your personal style and budget limitations. Having a professional to help you pull it all together is invaluable; it would have taken a year to decorate my new space on my own and it would never have looked so cohesive, no matter how hard I tried. I liked Andre's work so much, that I also hired her to help me redecorate a guest bedroom and main bathroom remodel. Thanks Andrea - I couldn't do it without you. i look forward to working with you again on future projects.

    Ensuite bathroom renovation & redesign of great room

    When I was ready to tackle a complete renovation of my master ensuite bathroom, I knew I needed the help of a professional, as the choices of tiles, fixtures etc. was overwhelming & I didn't want to make any costly mistakes. Andrea from Fine Finishes was recommended to me by a friend & I am delighted with the way my bathroom looks today. Andrea was excellent to work with, extremely personable, knowledgeable & definitely took the stress out of shopping for tiles! Everything she suggested came together beautifully, the layout, overall design, tiles, paint colour, right down to the smallest details, like towel hooks. Andrea really listened to what our needs were, asked all the right questions of my husband & I. As a result we have a bathroom that not only looks fantastic, but also functions specifically for our needs. I am now in the process of updating our great room furnishings & I had no hesitation in hiring Andrea for this project too. The trade discount that Andrea can pass on to her clients on large items such as sofas, more than compensates for her design fee. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrea from Fine Finishes to my family & friends.
