We have an old Victorian house and are having Gator install new Loewen windows. Quite simply, we have never dealt with better contractors. Harold spent a great deal of time with us figuring out how to proceed with the replacement of very large (and probably original) front windows, one of them arched, and was both helpful with suggestions and respectful of our wishes. His brother Roy is a meticulous and skilled installer, and installation work has always been done in a courteous, efficient, and tidy manner. Gator is conscientious, thoughtful, and dedicated to its craft - a genuine pleasure to work with!

Gator windows did a fantastic job installing the windows. They put down drop clothes and carboard everywhere, and cleaned up better than any other contractor we have had. They are very couteous and professional and showed up on the day they said they would show up which was very important because we had a tennant moving in the next day! They also cordinated the delivery of the Loewen windows to arrive at our house right after they got setup, very impressed by that. The only thing that i find is a little lacking which is why they get a 9 and not a 10 from me, is the fact that it is hard to get Harold to call back sometimes especially before we had even ordered anything (not all the time though). There were a few instances where we had to leave a couple messages or emails before he responded to us. Still waiting on one clarification response, but other than that, a terrific job and we will use them again to replace our doors this coming spring. Also when in the show room the lady that was helping us was not all that friendly or helpful, but Bill and Harold more than made up for that.

Don't be in a rush when you deal with Gator windows. Very slow to respond. They might even forget about you despite your contact details in their little black book. Left messages - no return call. Visited Show room - still no call 4 weeks later. Salesman is busy (I can appreciate this) but hey I stand and wonder why the delay is so long and the lack of call back? Yikes! Previous work done was exceptional.

Gator was our contractor's choice for new basement windows when we first renovated the house. Later they added a glass block wall to our bathtub to form a shower in what had formerly been a bath alone. More recently, they have replaced a couple of windows on the third floor (one of which was difficult to get at). They have been really helpful, polite and considerate, even when (in one instance) it was clear that our old house had thrown a wicked curve at them. Strongly recommended.

We just had Lepage wooden windows installed by Gator Windows, a local family business. From start to finish, I have been very happy with Gator’s service. The window estimates were quite quick and Harold was very helpful in selecting the final window specifications. The installation was done well. Roy and his crew arrived on time and were ready to go! The job was finished as promised and I am very please with the results (especially the carpentry work around the windows). I would recommend Gator Windows, and will be asking them to install two more windows next year.

Our comment is more proof that Gator Custom Windows Ltd does good quality work. They installed new windows in our house in 1988. At that time George (the owner) came to our home and took the time to explain to us various points about the windows. It seemed difficult to budget for when we were young, but the windows were definitely worth the money. Even today, the windows and frames are in very good condition. We had some other renovation work done by Gator, and it was also excellent. George and the Gator team have always considered our needs and our means; they are sincere and dependable.

From the initial estimate to the final installation the experience dealing with Gator Windows was excellent. The work was done when they said, how they said, and cleanup was as if they were never here. Very professional. Highly recommended.

Original door to house did a great job. No damage to plaster walls or trim. Left area clean as a whistle and even did a small repair on an existing window lock. Recommend highly, wouldn't consider anyone else regardless of price.

We own an older Toronto home & were nervous about changing old front bay windows that had been sealed for many years. We went to Gator Windows because they were recommended on Homestars & had a large showroom where we could see the products displayed. It is a family run business that obviously values quality & customer service. They rushed our order & we had our new windows 6 (in total) & a new storm door as promised & installed properly with no hint of mess left behind. We really recommend this company!

I have dealt with this company for a few years now for my own home as well as for a rental property. They are professionals in every way. A pleasure to do business with. I would recommend them without any hesitation.
