Previous owner did a patch job in the basement that looked very unclean and I questioned if it was done properly. I called Chris Wednesday night, came for quote Thursday. He understood my concern, confirmed it wasn't structural. He had a plan to clean the old work, finish it properly inside and out, finishing the job with a nice coat of paint. They started and finished Saturday. They left the property clean and were extremely professional. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete work. They know how to assess a job and have the right skills to do it properly and on time. Worth every cent.

I received Kris referral from Rona hardware store in North York. He called me back and accepted from me the apartment’s description over the phone. This followed a meeting after a few weeks on site which I received a quote for the job. Kris then provided to the building his credential without my intervention. Finally Kris and his team performed the job without my supervision , as I was not in town. After a completion I found a very nice results and high quality painting . It was also pleasant to deal with Kris and I can definitely recommend his services.

Kris did a terrific job for us on a renovation/restoration of our kitchen following a nasty water leak that did significant damage. He provided his professional opinion as well as carefully listening to our ideas. The work was done without any significant delays and the finished product exceeded our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend Kris again for any of our work.

Chris is the example of how trades people should treat customers! The first drywall repair and paint person I hired cancelled a few days before they were to start (booked one month in advance) since they got a bigger job. Chris responded right away and was willing to do a small job on short notice. The insualtion contractor delayed the job and I had to re-schedule Chris for a few days later, which I felt really bad doing. He came and did the job as promised and his team worked diligently and cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recomend Chris and plan to have him do more work for me in the in future

After a heavy rain and wind storm, we had several leaks in our house, because the exterior stucco was cracked in a few places. Facing the cold weather was not the best time to work with stucco and we needed a contractor willing to work fast and efficiently. We found Goldwell (Chris Szymusiuk) through HomeStars and we are extremely pleased with the results. Mr. Szymusiuk organized an in-home visit shortly after our initial contact and inspected our home thoroughly. All the problem areas were identfied, and the project was explained to us in detail (timings, required weather conditions, price, etc.). Everything was done according to plan in a very efficient manner (i.e. we were always told one day in advance if work could be done or have to be postponed for the weather conditions). We will certainly work with Chris and his team again and highly recommend them.

I had old tiles in my kitchen. They were in bad shape. I didn't know what to do, I had small budget and I didn't want mess. The Goldwell company introduced to me the polymer overlay over my existing tiles. There were no mess and in one day I had my new beautuful shiny floor. It is very easy to maintain, looks awsome . The Goldwell company was extremly professional and very pleasant to deal . I would hire them again.

The first thing that comes to my mind when thinking about hiring Goldwell is that I liked Chris right away. He was very direct in describing what the finished product would look like and I felt I could trust him. And I must say, they did a fabulous job. The repaired concrete looks as if it's brand new. The restoration and paint job on the wooden railing structure was also very well done and combined with the concrete restoration, gives the front of our house a very clean and polished look. I will be looking to Goldwell for some interior work in the future as well. Also, Chris was helpful in offering tips and suggestions especially regarding some simple points for me to use to help maintain the finished product for many more years. Finally, the price was competitive with other contractors I had contacted.

I was very pleased with the work done by Goldwell. Chris and his team were very nice and easy to deal with. My cabinets look just like new and I'm thrilled with the results! I've had a lot of home renos done in the past and I found Goldwell to be priced fairly and got the job done in a timely manner.

We are extremely pleased with our refinished cabinets. Goldwell did a great job and we did have them do some other work for us as well. Chris provided us with helpful insight and colour matching. Their pricing was competitive with the other companies we researched. We are really happy we went with Goldwell and would definitely recommend them.

I am over the moon with the results from Goldwell. I get compliments on my new basement floor all the time. I love going down into my basement! I felt the price was reasonable for the amount of work and the crew were extremely friendly and nice. They also worked efficiently and cleaned up perfectly after the job was done.
