Reply created 9 Apr 2018It’s unfortunate you chose to react this way instead of appreciating the prompt service we were ready to offer you. With respect to the lock, it was under warranty and as a responsible company we ordered you a new one from California,had it FedEx to us and replaced it at no charge to you. From the pictures you sent, there is clearly no issue with the beautiful door we built for you. The issue you have is a sweep with a torn rubber. As you are fully aware, wear & tear isn’t covered under the warranty. We all like free service, but unfortunately as a company we do have to charge and you were only being charged for the service call. Cost of sweep & labour to colour match and paint weren't included. This is no different than having to replace worn brake pads in a car. Irrespective of how much we pay for our cars brake pads replacement aren’t free. We tried to help out but instead you chose to hang up on our service rep. The rating of 2 out of 10 is rather spiteful considering the service we offered. We wish you well on your future projects with Home Depot.
