    Spray foam and blown-in attic insulation

    The team was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Great value for the price. I would recommend to friends and family. The team was on time and on budget and easy to work with.

    Attic Insulation

    the word was well done. Workers cleaned up real well. Added R40 to attic. Good job! Came when they said and price was same as the estimate. Great work done

    Walltite Eco Polyurethane Insulation

    I'm a real estate investor and contractor. I am converting a single family home into a duplex with a legal rental apartment in the basement. The basement walls were framed with 2x4's with a one inch gap between the foundation walls. After doing much research I found WALLTITE ECO™ was the best product to use. I was able to achieve an R 20 value and bring a home that was built in the 50's up to today's building standards. Using Roxul insulation I would have had to construct the walls out of 2x6's in order to achieve an R 20 value. One of the benefits of using spray foam is it speeds up the lengthy renovation process. A job that would have normally taken 2-3 days using batt insulation was done in 5 hours. No 6 mil poly or tuck tape was needed for a vapor barrier! We have noticed a huge difference in the home's efficiency now. I had to close a few vents in the basement because it was too hot. Which is a huge difference compared to the old drafty basement. I also took advantage of Enbridges Home Energy Conservation Program. Getting the spray foam done contributed towards my $1,600.00 rebate. It also helped improve the homes energy score from 50 to 70 out of 100. The installer Scott was very experienced and made his job look easy. It is an art to spray the foam evenly. With that being said buyer beware when getting spray foam installed. If it's done by a inexperienced contractor you can have a lot of issues. I had three quotes and Insta-Insulation offered the best price and I enjoyed my dealing with Jeremy (Sales Rep) the best. The only negative comment I have is they were a few hours late. That was due to some unforeseen problems they had at the job site previous to mine. I would highly recommend insta-insulation.     Attic insulation upgrade

    Very pleased with the experience from start to end. The estimate process was very low key, Brandon was pleasant, no pressure tactics to sign a contract. On installation day, the installers arrived right on time, were pleasant and courteous. The work was completed in just over 2 hours and once they'd finished, they vacuumed. The guys (sorry, don't recall their names) were very friendly and pleasant. Just as they were about to leave, I remembered that there was an addition trap door that needed sealing. Even though they were ready to leave, they had no issue coming back to seal the door and again vacuumed up after them. Overall, a great experience from a great team (even the ladies I spoke to over the phone to schedule an appointment). I highly recommend Insta-Insulation. Thanks.

    Basement Rebuild after flood

    Due to building code we need R20, insulations with basement already framed with 2 x 4's we needed spray foam to get the R value. Jason, sales was great explained everything... Install team arrived on time and did a great job...Would definitely recommend to friends and neighbours...

    attic insulation

    They were great! We just bought a 7 year old home and found out, from our home inspectors, that there was only had 3 inches of insulation in our; we needed at least 6inchs to be up to code. We compared their quote with other companies and they come in the middle of the field. (you get what you pay for. dont cheap out on your house, your family lives there). We were quoted 4-6 hours for the job and got it done in 3. Quoted $2600 (with tax) for the job and that's what we paid. they also cleaned up very well after themselves (to me that is a sign of a good trades company). We went with them because our friend recommend them and we read reviews on homestars on how good they are. We wanted foam spray over the traditional batting insulation but they recommended batting instead. This is because we only needed to top up of our current insulation; we didn’t need spray foam which is a lot more costly. They had a chance to up sell me and they didn't. (this shows true honesty) thank you Brandon Looby for being honest. We will recommend Insta-Insulations to all our friends and family.

    insulation

    Based on a nearby neighbour's recommendation we had Insta-Insulation blow in cellulose into the attic space. The team was pleasant and efficient cleaning up after the job was completed. We notice a difference in the warmth.

    Spray foam insulation

    I contracted Insta insulation to insulate my garage as I was converting the garage to a family room. I found the sales person that gave me the quote very professional and accurate with the quote. I wanted to go with closed cell spray foam because it was the most convenient, no vapor barrier needed, etc. The sales person that did the quote was prompt and met on time unlike other contractors I've worked with. The day the work was done they were very prompt and professional as well. After the work was done and 24 hours later when I was able to go in the garage again I inspected the job and was very satisfied. I'm trying to think of something negative to add to this review as no one is perfect but really having a hard time. I guess the only negative I can add is this. In my garage there was a black material covering the brick that was there when I ripped the drywall out. I called the office and the girl there told me I need to rip it out. But being unsure of the answer I called the sales guy and he told me I needed to leave it up. I wasn't sure what to do so I left it. The day the workmen came they said I need to take it out so that the foam can adhere to the brick and framing. Which made sense as the black heavy cardboard material hung there loosely. So the work men took it out for me. This really didn't bother me and is just nitpicking but I figured I needed to say something on the negative side for a balanced review. Still gonna give this rating a 10

    Attic insulation

    I hired insta insulation to upgrade my attic insulation from approximately r12 to r60. Sales staff was pleasant to deal with and work crew was very efficient and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. Had an energy audit completed post upgrade and auditor confirmed the amount was correct.

    top up cellulose main house / spray foam garage

    Got Insta's name from the Holmes show. Staff were courteous prompt professional. Estimate was accurate & reasonable for the work undertaken. Work was delayed by a couple of days by administrative difficulties, but nothing to speak of. Have noticed a significant improvement in home and garage / shop warmth.
