We started this journey last summer when I walked into the KDP showroom off the street having reviewed only the website and prior testimonials for background… I hadn't heard about KDP or known anybody that used them and we absolutely couldn't be happier with our kitchen. Even though I had interviewed several other designers, I knew right away that Kelly was the right fit for us… Kelly came up with an innovative design that allowed us to have a large banquette seating area in the kitchen as part of the floor to ceiling "island" between the kitchen and the dining room. Every corner of our kitchen is maximized for storage capability. We renovated more than just the kitchen…We did the family room and dining room as well… Kelly guided us through every stage of our renovation… Choosing all the new was an overwhelming and time consuming task for someone working full time with two small children. Kelly went way beyond what I would have expected her to have done… Kelly patiently dealt with my sometimes multiple daily emails with questions about the details and design advice on pretty much everything we bought. Every material, colour, fixture, piece of furniture, style and idea was run by Kelly. I know she was straight up honest with me at all times. I completely trusted her judgment. This was a big project. We took out walls and needed a structural engineer which was organized by KDP... The demolition phase took place over two weeks while we were out of town (highly recommended that you leave during this part)… Every one of the trades that worked on our house did superb work, was reliable, answered my many questions and was considerate and tidied up behind themselves… I would recommend every single one of them and will use them again when I have the opportunity…The result is incredible. Our primary contact at KDP was with Kelly but I know there were others in the background like Joe who was the mastermind behind the scheduling who also deserves our sincere thanks… Our main floor looks awesome. It is like having a new home. The rooms look bigger; the ceilings look higher, the textures and colours flow and the space has a whole different feeling. The cabinetry, crown moulding, countertops and backsplash are elegant ... gorgeous. In practical terms, the layout, functionality and storage in the kitchen are fantastic. We finally have the spacious feeling we were going for in our 35 year old southeast Oakville home. KDP and especially Kelly delivered on exactly what they promised and in fact the end result exceeded our expectations… If I were to rate KDP and Kelly under any rating system there is no question that the rating would be a 10. I highly recommend the KDP team for all your design needs. I will retain them again when I renovate my upstairs!!

Lina Ho and her team patiently assisted us with designing and decorating our new kitchen. Our budget was not exceeded, and we are very pleased with the quality and the overall results. Follow up was also very good.

Stephanie Langford and her team did a fantastic job replacing our traditional builder kitchen with sleek, modern cabinetry. Construction proceeded on time; communication was always timely and everyone very friendly. Our new kitchen not only looks great, it functions beautifully as an entertainment space. Our guests have stated that sitting at the cantilevered glass bar while I finish preparing dinner reminds them of being at an open kitchen restaurant. At Christmas time we entertained 18 people for dinner with ease. Everyone who worked on the project were great including Rob, Rawlton, Saeid, Les and Frank as well as the providers of the stainless steel and the island countertop. We have been extremely satisfied with the design and installation of our Beckerman kitchen. Stephanie Langford's design is truly functional, meeting all of our expressed needs and wishes, as well as being beautiful to look at. The installation process and timelines were met as promised, with Stephanie and Joe scheduling and coordinating the various tradespeople. Frank, the installer also did an outstanding finishing job. It was with considerable trepidation that we entered upon the journey (March 2008)to remove old cabinets, install the new cabinets of our choice and wait in anticipation that the journey would get us to where we wanted to be at completion. Cabinet removal issues had us questioning our initiative. Kitchen Designers Plus (KDP) was sensitive to our concerns and completed the removal in an orderly/timely manner with minimum (if there is such a thing in this exercise)stress to ourselves. Installation was orderly, well coordinated (plumber, electrician, cabinet installer, counter top template/installation, plumber, electrician, appliance installation, etc) and profssional. Of note was the close supervision and response to our many questions by KDP staff. Nearing completion there were many fears (maybe the new refridgerator would not fit?)and final 'tweaking'(proper hieghts for cabinets so as to accommodate new cork floor installation later)that KDP handled to our satisfaction. At completion in April 2008, we were tired (we were sure KDP was tired of us) but we had arrived where we had hoped to be when the process started. Congratulations to KDP for handling a complex project in a responsive and caring manner.

In early 2008, we finally decided to move ahead with our plans to redo our kitchen. We met with a few design firms before being referred to KDP, and Uli in particular. We had a floor plan that I emailed to her, but unlike the other design firms, she suggested it would be best that she came to see our home before coming up with any design. She wanted to see how we live and get a better idea of what we were looking for from our new kitchen. This was never offered by the other firms. She came up with a fabulous plan, and included all the things that were important to us. From beginning to end, Uli made sure everything was done right, on budget and on time. The project quickly expanded from a new kitchen to an entire overhaul of the main floor, and Uli worked with our general contractor to make sure everything would fit. No issues - ever! She was a pleasure to work with and always reliable. Thanks to Uli and KDP, we now have a fabulous and functional kitchen.

After interviewing several design centers, we chose Kitchen Designers Plus to create and install our new kitchen. We met with their design consultant, Kelly Boettcher. She listened to what we thought we wanted and came up with a plan that was just amazing for our space. We were very confident in her ability to create a great kitchen. She responded to all of our queries and concerns in a very professional manner. We were given a six week installation schedule and all of the trades adhered to it. Joe Muscat, who coordinated the operations, made this happen. He was always available for questions. The trades people were all highly competent, accommodating, and also very nice. Kelly frequently came to oversee the work. This week Gloria had nine ladies for a luncheon and everyone had very flattering comments, such as: “It’s so beautiful…”, “It’s so serene…”, “The use of space is very creative…” and “Great attention to detail…”. Needless to say we are very proud of our new kitchen. Anyone considering a new kitchen should talk to Kelly who impressed us so much.

Having been delighted with KDP in the complete renovation of our kitchen two years ago, it was natural to have John Jr supply the cabinetry during the renovation of our two second floor bathrooms. Once again John Jr was outstanding with the style and finish complementing our tile and lighting designs and the Luxor cabinetry installed beautifully.

we showed our business to an number of kitchen designers and by far Kitchen designers plus had the best designs that matched what we where looking for. They offered the appropriate quality level for each job and where in line on the pricing. The follow up on each job by John was very professional and exactly what every renovation company should be doing. John has a keen eye for detail and design insisting high quality of workman ship from his people and suppliers.

We highly recommend Kitchen Designers Plus for the beautiful kitchen they installed in our home. John Anthony Vanderkolk came up with a exquisite design using high-quality Luxor cabinets. They recommended Marcello Nalli to do the prep work and we were very happy with the work that he and his workers did. They were friendly, conscientious and very professional. Johnny, the cabinet installer was hard-working, meticulous and very quick. The timeline they established was kept and everyone showed up when they said they would. Thanks to Kitchen Designers Plus we look forward to enjoying our new kitchen for many years to come.
