Kia & his crew rewired our entire house, got rid of the old knob & tube and did this quickly & within the budget alloted. We are very happy with the results & would recommend Kia to all our family & friends.

I came across this website and discovered all the rave reviews about Kiya, so I gave him call to discuss my pot-lighting needs. During my meeting with Kiya, he offered us great design & practicality advice that I'd never thought of before. Kiya is courteous and profession, and I have no doubt that he'll do a great job on my potlight installations. I'll write another review once the job is completed. So stay tuned...

Kiya was not only my electrician - he ended up being my personal home reno planner. I needed the entire house rewired (quickly so I could move in). Kiya and his crew came in on budget and left my new home with no holes (and the one behind the fridge that was forgotten, they gladly came by to patch (at which time they also affixed a new lamp)). Kiya also suggested modifications - like pot lights in the living room, an extra lamp in the upstairs hall and an additional 3-way switch in the kitchen. I can't imagine being without those. Kiya was always punctual and the crew never forgot to sweep up the mess. I look forward to Kiya's help on any future electrical issues (after all, he knows my house inside out).

Kiya did a great job in re-wiring 80% of our old toronto home. He not only removed all the knob and tube quickly, but also made some great recommendations on positioning of switches, outlets, and lights that have made our house even more livable.

We contacted Kiya to replace our outdated electical panel and install a new pot light. His quote was competitive with others that we had received, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful with other questions that we had. He showed up on-time, completed everything in a timely manner to our complete satisfaction. We would hire him for more work when we have it, and recommend him to others.

We stripped our house down to the brick and did a complete renovation. Of all the contractors involved, Kiya was one of only 2 that did exactly what was asked, provided good advice, took our many changes in stride at a reasonable cost, and the workers showed up when he said they would. He was a breath of fresh air in a long and painful process. We have recommended Kiya to others already and will not hesitate to do so again in the future. We recently had Kiya back in to add some plugs in our basement and change a couple of light fixtures (cosmetic reasons), and he did his usual excellent job.

Kiya and his crew did an exceptional job converting our home to modern wiring from the original knob and tube. Everything we needed done in the house was carried out in a professional and diligent fashion. Also Kiya was able to make a few very useful suggestions regarding placement of new outlets and pot lighting, and we are very happy that we followed his advice. Since completing this job, Kiya has come back to clean up some extraneous wiring located in various parts of the house as well as grounding our furnace. We would definitely recommend Kiya Sunrise Electrical Ltd. to anyone, and we will be using Kiya and his crew again in the near future.

Kiya Sunrise recently removed all the knob and tube from our house and upgraded all our wiring.He knows what he's doing and I have no hesitation recommending him.He really went the extra mile for us and we feel we got great value and service considering the amount of work it was.He cares about doing a good job and wants to satisfy the customer,that's what makes the difference.

Kiya first visited to discuss adjustments to potlights. We decided against this and opted to install a chandelier in the room. He came a second time to determine where to fish the wires. He did not charge for either site visit. The third time he came with two electricians who carefully installed the electrical box. The opening is perfectly centred and there was no damage whatsoever to the ceiling or walls. They moved the furniture and vacuumed the area when they were finished. Kiya answers phone calls promptly and is extremely professional.

Kiya just installed a huge (50lb) chandelier in our 18 ft tall living room and he did not shy away from the challenge. He did a perfect installation, not only from the esthetical point of view but most important from the safety point of view. He made sure that the materials used (cable, dimmer, etc.) are going to withstand the power output of the fixture and the ceiling is going to hold the heavy weight. He explained everything along the way and we feel comfortable with what he has done. He also installed potlights and pendants in our kitchen and his design suggestions have helped transform it into our dream kitchen. Also, his team of guys are very hard workers. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends.
