After buying an older home we found that it had to be rewired. Langstaff and Sloan took us through the process every step of the way professionally and courteously. We would not hesitate to use them again, and have more than once already.

My new house is an early 20th century store converted into up and down apartments and then converted into a single family dwelling. The structure of the building, and the wiring inside the walls was a puzzle. Rob gave me an honest estimate of what all needed to be done and what it would cost to do it right, and how long it would take. He told me to get my new fixtures lined up and he would install them at the same time he pulled out the wiring. My estimate also included all the holes being patched when the job was done. My house was full of surprises, but the crew just kept finding solutions. They completed the job is four days. When Langstaff & Sloan were done, the house looked great and paint-ready. The best thing about Rob and the rest of crew is that I always felt they knew what they doing and the final result would be high quality and safe. They arranged the permits and the inspection as well, and mailed me the Certificate of Inspection when it was completed.

Funny enough, my husband had most of the involvement with the electricians but they did a bang up job with our home. Rewired not only the existing knob and tube in the home but also fixed some of the wiring that was done by the previous homeowner (a handy man special if you know what I mean). Upon the first meeting, my husband was very impressed with the options that Rob provided to us and he came recommended by another electrician that had come to our home to give us a quote. He was very flexible and open to discuss our options. The work was done efficiently, to code and they were done everything in just less than a week. He also took care of the permits required and we received our certificate for insurance with no problems. The pot lights and our fan are great and working very well. They always came to us with updates and explanations and you did not have to search for answers. The holes that were made for electrical were minimal which was fantastic.

We bought an 85 yr old house last April, which was completely knob and tube. We went with Langstaff and Sloan based on the referrals, price, schedule and most importantly, attitude. Right from the word go, they were friendly, easy to work with and asked me what I wanted and suggested ways to make it better. From putting outlets into the high baseboards, to putting in wall sconces in a nearly impossible place, to being clean, they were great. The electricians were friendly, courteous, and knew what had to be done. It's been almost a year (May 08) since they did the job and we've had NO issues what so ever with their work. Our kitchen was wired improperly. Our electrical box was a nightmare. Paul tidied it up and got rid of some very bad wiring. Now our appliances all can be working at the same time and no breakers going off. Work was done efficiently and with minimal mess.

Very pleased with work done and service provided. Professional, supportive project manager and team. Kept work site clean. Answered all questions. Made suggestions on placement of new outlets, fixtures, etc. Great on follow-up requests.
