    Don't buy from anyone who is 100% commission, brutal

    Ordered a sofa on Feb 2nd and I was promised it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. I called last week asking for approx delivery time - the woman told me another week. I followed up one week later (today, April 18th) as it's been now 8 weeks. Our "sales agent" looked into it and just said "I have no idea" - how on earth is that even an acceptable answer?! I am now waiting on a call from management which was supposed to be within the hour and it has now been 3 hours.... the customer service rep I also spoke with after the sales rep didn't "know what was going on" and "couldn't help me". Such a load of BS... do not go here, it's not even worth the savings of buying a less expensive couch.... you will leave frustrated and go somewhere else anyway....

    Sofa set

    Leons promised an exchange if we didnt like. The couchs would sink two weeks after the purchase and they said it was normal which is total BS. Please stay away, there quality has gone down over the years and they will promise you the moon until the delivery.

    Wouldn't wish them even for my enemy...

    Got a couch, coffee table, TV table and area rug from them. They told me area rug would come in 2-3 weeks at a time of purchase and I was okay with that. Couch, coffee table and TV table were delivered the following week. Coffee table and TV table were both defective (glue, scratches, bubbles, etc.). Contacted them for a replacement and scheduled a delivery the next week. A day before delivery got a "sorry" call saying area rug is still not in stock, they asked if it could be delivered the following Saturday. I agreed as my preference would be to have less mess getting everything at once. Last night (two days before rescheduled delivery) I got another "sorry" call and of course I wasn't okay with that. Fortunately all was resolved and the guy from Leon's told me they would deliver everything as discussed (on Saturday). Today (one day before delivery) I got a third "sorry" call what made me very upset and of course I expressed all to them. Lady was very very rude, unpleasant, did not care about solving the issue nor helping me, got defensive and at the end refused to transfer me over to her manager! Oh and told me to speak to the store I bought the furniture from (aren't they all Leon's stores???). And why should I be the one trying to find my furniture location and beg for delivery??? Anyways, apparently the area rug's been in Scarborough all this month and delivering it to Etobicoke (20mins) drive is too much of a hassle for them... So now it's just my business as they have nothing to do with this... Do not, I repeat, do not deal with them. 0 customer service, they won't pick up their phones, will treat you like you're no one after collecting the money and will give you empty promises. I was way more happy with my Ikea's bedroom furniture. Will never buy from them again and will take care of the appropriate word-of-mouth "referral"!

    Mattress

    Bought the mattress on condition I could return for softer version,after 2 weeks I called to tell my sales lady,she said no problem she would have a new mattress delivered in 7-10 days after 2weeks I went to the store and found out they knew nothing about this,promised me new mattress In 2 weeks,went in and was told they don't know we're my order is,I got pretty upset and got the manager who promised me 1 week delivery after 10 days I called him and was given another bullshit excuse,and asked if I would be home the following Sunday,I said ok if I could be the first delivery in the morning so I wouldn't waste my whole Sunday,and was assured I would be,but you guessed it they never showed up at all and didn't call anyone that reads these reviews and still buys there based on price good luck you'll need it!

    Matresses

    Bought a mattress for toddler. Has 90 day comfort guarentee. Never used, but when we got it home it was hard as a rock. Phoned to return it. Told they dont do returns. 90 day comfort guarentee only allows you to exchange it. When it was sold to us, we were told we could return it. Since it was on sale when we bought it the exchange value wont get a decent mattress. For a purchase like a mattress where you need to really test it out I would suggest costco, sears, the bay or some place which has a real return policy. Ill see if my kid can stand it, but if not, I'll probably chuck it and go get another. one, but not from Leon's. Lesson leaerned, stick with companies who care about whether or not their customers are happy.

    Mattress Nightmare

    WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This company should be embarrassed for the pitiful service they are providing. We ordered our bed for delivery, it was the wrong bed. When we called to follow up we were told that they didn't do refunds and our issue would have to be addressed in the new year (It was Dec. 19th). It wasn't until an hour on the phone that the manager agreed to replace the INCORRECT bed with the correct one. After 3 weeks of sleeping on our bed we decided that it was not the right bed for us, luckily we had purchased the cover that enabled us to exchange the bed once. As per the standard we were given a four hour window of delivery. It has now been 5.5 hours and customer service has told us it is still on the way. We were not provided with any courtecy call. We contacted customer service and they were nothing short of rude. We most definitely regret our purchase and will NEVER return to Leon's.

    loveseat and sofa

    I bought a loveseat and a sofa last year of May.I noticed when we got the items the fabric are not the same with the other one.I phoned Leons about this and they asked me to send a picture..They send a lady to check the items we bought..First she doesnt believe me that they're not the same color,in the end she told me "you're right".They sent us new loveseat still im not happy with it.Because still the fabric color are not the same as the other one .Everytime we had a party we took pics..and every time I see the couch ..I felt so sad.Because I just waste my money for buying things that does'nt make me happy..

    Fridge

    My 4 month old fridge stopped working. Customer service was awful. Basically sorry about your luck attitude. Will never shop there again. If you are smart you won't either. Do not stand behind what they sell.

    Excellent Service

    I was horrified, too with all the negative reviews I read online but I promised I will write a good review if all goes well with my purchase and delivery. I purchased a couch and a dining table from Leon's earlier this month. I asked for my stuff to be delivered on December 19. I didn't want to pay for the order in full so they agreed I pay a down payment and pay the remaining balance two days before the delivery. The delivery team were very professional. They called in the morning of the delivery to give me a time frame on when I can expect the truck to arrive and they call an hour before their arrival. What I advise is when making a purchase, find out if the item of your choice is in stock. If it is in stock, they will deliver it on the date they said they will deliver. I am sorry some of you had a horrible experience with Leon's, but my experience with them was great and I will definitely buy from them again!

    LEONS - Jane

    Don't ever visit this location. Poor service sold me a used bed frame and refused to take it back. While I attempted to return this frame a guy came back to return a mattress cover that had BLOOD on it. Beware!! Took forever for the 3 men to place it in my car and took forever to get a refund. Refurbished horrible dated products. Avoid at all costs!!!!
