    Paving Driveway and Pouring 8x12 Concrete Slab

    I had lined up someone other then Ludwig Paving to do my driveway and pour a concrete slab. This other company turned out to be totally unresponsive to phone calls and voice mail messages after they took my initial deposit. I found Ludwig Paving on the internet and read the reviews on Homestars. I decided to give Joe a call. The reviews were 100% bang on, totally reliable and Ludwig does great work. I was away on vacation when they came to do the work, no problem they did a great job. Thanks Joe for bailing me out.

    DRIVEAY PAVING

    JOE FROM LUDWIG CAME TO GIVE US A QUOTE FOR PAVING OUR 4000 SQUARE FOOT CIRCULAR DRIVEWAY IN CALEDON AND RIGHT AWAY I KNEW HE WAS THE ONE. LOOKED AT THE DRIVEWAY AND DIDN'T ASK US QUESTIONS LIKE THE OTHERS DID. NOTHING WAS A BIG DEAL IN TERMS OF OUR WATER DRAIN BEING HARD PLASTIC AND MELTING AND OTHER INGROUND PIPES ETC. HE KNEW HOW THE DRIVEWAY SHOULD ANGLE ETC AND DIDNT ASK US. I LOVED THE FACT THAT HE'S BEEN DOING THIS ALL HIS LIFE AND AS A LITTLE BOY WENT WITH HIS FATHER ON ESTIMATES. HE IS SO GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES AND HIS ENTIRE CREW ARE SO PROFESSIONAL! THE TRUCKS WERE NEW AND THEY DIDN'T SKIMP ON ANY MATERIALS...SO GLAD I WENT WITH LUDWIG AND THEY CAME TO CALEDON! THANK YOU!

    exterior water proofing, driveway reconstruction

    Consumer friendly, professional operators. Answered all questions, informed client at each stage of job, reliably showed up when arranged, competitive pricing, knowledgeable crews. Would recommend this company highly based on the quality of job, and level of customer service.

    Paving of driveway

    Joe Caramanna and his team were great! -On time and very efficient -Quick communication responses -Excellent advice on the project -great value -organized, courteous and clean Everything I would like to have happen in a business transaction happend. This is a well run organization that does quality work.

    Thanks, Tim. You were very easy to get a hold of, too. Allowing the driveway to settle that extra week really did the trick. It's always a good idea especially when you get your home waterproofed like you did. It gives the back-filling a chance to really compact. Also taking out all the tree roots from under the gravel at the back was essential; we don't want them to rot, decompose, and have your new asphalt collapse. It's very common if you leave them in... but we didn't. Your driveway will last a very long time. Thanks again.

    paving shared driveway

    I got numerous estimates to dig up and repave the driveway ( most of them from Homestars reviews). Our driveway is a mutual one, shared by my neighbour. After meeting the contractors and looking at the estimates, we decided to go with Joe at Ludwig Paving. He was friendly, reliable, and very knowledgeable and his price was reasonable. He returned by emails and phone calls promptly and answered all of my questions and worked around my schedule. He and his crew showed up on time and dug up our driveway, replacing it with gravel. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. He came back a month later (at my request as I was going out of town) and then paved the driveway. He and his team did a great job and Joe did not ask for a penny until the paving was completed. I was completely satisfied. I know that if there is a problem in the future, Joe will come back. He is very good at getting back to people. He has a high standard. I would highly recommend him and Ludwig paving.

    Driveway Paving

    After being screwed over by several questionable so called paving companies I contacted Ludwig. I never met Joe as we corresponded by e-mail and was not there when they did the driveway. However, when I saw the completed job I was both relieved and happy. They did an excellent job for a very fair price. I highly recommend Ludwig.

    It was our pleasure. I had heard what you all went through. On the bright side, it all worked out. We regraded the driveway because it was too low at the side door, we fixed the interlock at the front so the slope is better, and we used a better grade of asphalt to ensure a very long lasting pavement surface.

    driveway paving

    I had spoken to 2 other paving contractors. One of them had a great price but bad reviews on this website. I asked him for references and he never called back. Then I looked further on this website and found LUDWIG. Joe emailed me back within a very short time. The next day he had given me a quote. I asked a few questions and we discussed the job and came to an agreeable price. Everything was done as Joe described and he was completely reachable and accountable for the work he and his crew did. I would highly recommend LUDWIG to anyone considering getting their driveway paved.

    Thanks Debbie, Your driveway was a difficult one. There were many PVC pipes planted in the driveway resulting in a great deal of hand work. The laying of the asphalt also had to be done by hand or else the asphalt spreading machine would have broken all your pipes. Also, when we excavated down 4 inches we found two concrete pathways running down the sides of the driveway. Since we promised a 6 inch excavation, we had to remove those concrete walkways to fulfill our obligation. It was a much deeper excavation, but at least we know there will be no heaving of the asphalt down the road because the base was done right.     Driveway paving

    Our job was that we had a dirt and gravel driveway that we needed to have excavated and paved. Drainage was a problem as well as the environment (narrow, shared lane drive). Several companies that we called turned us down without even coming to see our driveway. We went with Ludwig because they came in with the best quote and because they were flexible about the job. With some of the companies that we talked to we felt that we were being pressured into work that we didn't want. There was no pressure from Joe (our contact at Ludwig). Whatever we wanted, Joe found a way to make it happen. Throughout the entire job Joe was responsive, helpful and courteous. Joe and his team showed up exactly when they were supposed to and completed the job when they said they would. The job was done exactly to spec and with no surprises and no extra costs. They even helped us out with a couple of things that weren't included in the original quote! We can't say enough good things about our experience with Ludwig. We are constantly having people compliment us on the work that was done and we couldn't be happier.

    Paving of Driveway and Interlock front path

    From sales, removal of old walk and driveway through instalation and paving these guys were great. We got several wildly varied quotes from various companies. Ludwig was decently priced and you feel comfortable doing business with them. They let the driveway sit for 3 weeks before paving it, they gave us the asphalt and the stones that we wanted. They were clean, careful and were a pleasure to do business with, not to mention did a wonderful job.

    Driveway paved

    We hired Ludwig Paving to pave our driveway and I was quite impressed that they only did it so quickly, but did a great job! They were so fast and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.
