    Roofing Repair

    Major winds recently caused shingles to dislodge from the roof so I needed them repaired. Called Tom in the morning and said he could stop by in the afternoon. He came by and I paid what he quoted over the phone. Would highly recommend Tom and will use them when the whole roof needs to be reshingled. -Troy

    Roof repair

    I contacted approximately 7 roofing companies when I experienced a roof leak and Mega City Roofing was the only company that responded (one other company called back but never followed up to send someone out). Tom returned my call, came out to investigate on Saturday and repaired the roof on the spot. His service was prompt and professional. We are likely going to need to replace our entire roof in a few years and we will definitely call Tom for the job.

    Install 2 bathroom roof vents

    Tom was great, gave me quote and booked over the phone. Called to say he was on his way. (good communication) really nice guy, he is the right guy for the job. Ensured job done proper, so he didn't have to come back. Let me check the work. Answered all questions fairly. Estimated the life on my roof and rough cost to replace in the future. Look forward to using Tom again he it the right guy for the job.

    Roof repair

    Great company. Fixed errors made by another company on this site calling themselves mr roof repair. Couldn't be more pleased. Photographed all their repairs and we're prompt professional and did a superb job at a fair price. I will only call them from now on. !!!! Gloria Charette, Pickering

    Ingrity is everything!

    After our roof flew off I called Tom Geo who called back promptly and showed up the next day to quote to replace shingles on my parents roof. After quoting on the job, he shared pictures of the roof and pointed out why the shingles flew off -- missing nails, top nailing and rather than trying to close me on hiring them to fix the roof, he suggested I contact the company who charged us to do the roof and give them the opportunity to fix the problem. On top of that he then offered to fix the tarp my husband had put up. Very impressed with how this company puts the customer first! Integrity is everything!

    Replace Flat Roof

    I decided to go with Tom and Mega City after talking to 3 roofers. I found Tom replied to my request the next day, was very knowledgeable, and responded promptly to several rounds of questions while I made my decision. His price was also competitive. I like the fact that Tom was accountable from first point of contact, to execution, to job completion. I am happy with the work, and he did not charge me extra for removing 3 layers of old roof. The only downside was the timing of the roof work happened about 1 month after his initial estimate, though this was not a problem for me as the work was not urgent. Overall, I would be happy to call Tom again for future roofing work.

    Roof Vent & Shingle Repair

    Squirrels had damaged one of the roof vents and needed to be replaced before they, as well as rain, could get into the attic. I called Mega City Roofing and Tom called me back within an hour. He was able to come over the next day with a new roof vent that would be. While coming into the driveway, he noticed that a couple of shingles on my roof needed replacing as well and included that as part of the original job as well. I'm thankful for his quick response and how easy it was to get this fix completed.

    New roof on bungalow

    I highly recommend Megacity Roofing. They provided the best inspection - up on the roof, showing me various things about the roof and old shingles, eavestroughs etc. Tom Geo also spent time explaining the materials, how the old materials are removed, and recommended some other improvements to be made. On the day of the job, the crew arrived on time at 8:00am and started work immediately. They never stopped working, taking their shifts in sequence. The crew were obviously happy workers, not to mention very experienced, professional and courteous. The entire job was done in 6 hours, including complete clean-up. Our patio furniture, deck, and gardens were protected.

    Roof "tune-up"

    We bought a house that previously had a roof look, and knew there was some mold in the attic. When we had that cleaned up the mold people told us that there was _still_ a leak. We called Tom and he was there the next day and discovered that the shingles were barely hold end by anything - just a little bit of of glue and/or nails at the top, but the bottom 4/5ths could essentially flap in the wind. He took a couple of videos to show it just how bad it was - no wonder we had water in the attic! Tom gave our roof what we called a "tune-up", and fixed it up enough to make it through the winter. This was done by glueing it down in many places, add some nails in others (with caulking on top of it), and doing additional caulking around the flashing and other places. He also advised us that despite the fact that the roof was recently done, that it was done so poorly and with cheap materials that we should do it again next year. Tom was extremely friendly and handled breaking the news of how bad it was to me well. He didn't try to skirt around it, and showing pictures/videos of the problems was a really nice touch. I'd recommend him to anybody.

    Replaced roof

    I highly recommend Tom Geo and his crew. My roof needed to be totally replaced because shingles were over 20 years old and it was leaking. Did not realize how bad it was. Also did not realize that all the plywood needed to be replaced too, but not really surprised since it was original and nearly 50 years old. Tom looked and saw mould as well. He gave me a great deal on the plywood and on shingles that will last 50 years at least, and went above and beyond normal standards. He and his crew got the job done in just one day and cleaned up everything afterward. Definitely a great experience.
