    Roof Replacement

    It's hard to find something to say that wasn't already said in other reviews. I had to have my roof replaced as the shingles were 21 years old. I started off by looking for quotations for several companies and actually found Mega City Roofing on the home stars website. I was sceptical at first given the high rating but I investigated further and found these consistently high ratings going back to 2000. So I phoned up Tom and he came out pretty quickly to have the estimate done. I was just about convinced on the spot to go with Mega City roofing and with Tom's professionalism and degree of attentiveness to details and what was required to be fixed. The other quotations served only as justifications to go with Tom. Though Tom's quote was not the lowest, it was competitively priced and considering the feedback from home stars, my decision was obvious to go with Tom. On the day of fixing the roof, I was phoned before hand to make the preparations on my house (taking down pictures etc), and his crew came right on time with all the equipment and supplies and set to work immediately. It was quite surprising the speed at which the old roof was ripped out and the new roof put in. His crew worked extremely well together, Tom answered all my concerns, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience watching how a roof gets replaced. It made the experience really fun.     Roof

    Tom is a pleasure to do business with and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his crew: they were punctual, effecient, friendly, affordable, and they do great work. We contacted Mega City Roofing last fall and Tom could tell that our roof was in bad shape and needed replacing immediately. Unfortunately, we left it too late in the season for the job to be completed safely. But Tom went above and beyond, in my opinion by putting a tarp over the roof to get us through the winter. That tarp survived a couple of heavy, heavy wind storms this winter! The job was scheduled for early this spring but thanks to some good weather, our roof was installed a week earlier than planned. I would hire Mega City Roofing again for any future roofing jobs and would recommend them to anyone else.

    roof

    This is the second time we have used mega city. We used them a few years back ar our old house. Tom is very knowledgeable, reliable and hands on. THE ROOF WAS DONE IN ONE DAY AND THE CREW TOOK CARE WITH THE HOUSE AND CLEANED UP AT THE END OF THE DAY. TOM CAME BY AT THE END TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK!!! MY NEIGHBOR HAS ALSO USED MEGA CITY AND WAS ALSO VERY HAPPY.

    New roof (replace 19 year old Shingles and put new ones on)

    Tom from Mega City Roofing was excellent ROOF - I dealt with Tom and he was so professional. When he came and gave me an estimate, he was thorough, he went on the roof and he was by far the best estimate we got. His job was neat and he worked efficiently. My roof has had no problems since it was redone.

    Roofing

    We were very pleased to have Mega Roofing redo our 25 year old roof. They recommended using Rain Shield around the perimeter which was an excellent product. They completed the work while we were on vacation and we were pleasantly surprised to have all the work professionally done and the clean up work was excellent.

    Replace Flat Roof

    Our roof was leaking and it was difficult to find a roofer who would help us because everyone we talked to were booked. Tom fixed and replaced everything for us, pointed out specific areas of concern, and explained everything, very friendly and professional. Price reasonable, in the middle. Answered our questions and is honest.

    roof ice removal

    Last year, Mega City did three of our roofs, and we were really impressed. This year, we have another problem -- HUGE scary icicles and ice damming. So I call Tom again, and they came pronto over here and did an excellent job of safely removing the huge ice blocks from the roof - and even during a snowstorm! But then Tom went through great lengths trying to help diagnose exactly what the problem was that caused this in the first place and trying to figure out the most economical way to deal with this problem, looking at the attic, the insulation, the venting, the drainage, everything that he could think of. He promptly got back to me on all phone calls, and was more that happy to answer all questions, and to teach me as well! Tom, you are amazing once again in how you care, and really went the extra mile to help. I can't thank you enough. Vanna

    Roof replacement

    From start to finish, everything about Tom and his work was first-rate. The estimate was detailed: it promised a more thorough job than the cheapest bidder, yet came in at half the cost of a well-known company that subcontracts the work. His advice on material, colour, etc. was right on the mark. On the big day, Tom and his crew arrived on time and looking presentable. They were very friendly at all times. They did whatever it took to get the job done right, working hard and leaving the property safe and clean after finishing. Tom also went to bat for us with anyone he had to, so that any issues were taken care of. No matter when we called, he was always polite and prompt. Tom will give you good value for money, and peace of mind knowing the roof over your head is properly installed, well-vented, and solid.

    New Roof

    New roof installed by Tom and MegaCity. Tom was exceptional, a true gem as far as trades go, he was courteous, polite and honest and what ever he promised was delivered on time. The finished product looks great and I would recommend Tom to all my friends. His team was efficient and worked exceptionally hard to finish the roof in timeframe that they set.

    Roof and Skylight Replacement

    Tom from Mega City is a true professional. Our job involved replacing the flat-roof, peaked roof and three skylights on our 20 yr. old home. From the initial estimate right through to the job clean-up, Tom and his team provided a first class service and used top-grade materials. Our roof presented a number of challenges along the way, but it was no big deal for Mega City. On-time, on-budget, with a friendly and professional contractor...what more can you ask for?
