We have a rental unit in Vancouver but we do not live in Vancouver. We contacted Mikes flooring and they took care of everything for us. we had new tenants moving in and were in a rush. Thanks to mikes flooring they were able to finish the job within three days of contacting them. It was essy to trust them. They explained everything to us. Kept in contact with us through out the process. There were no surprises.

I hired Mikes' to supply & install laminate on a condo upgrade to sell project. The installer didnt bother to knock off a high spot, so the floor rocked. Plus 3 of the 4 rooms were splattered with leveling cement all over the walls. I even found brad nails embedded in the walls 6 feet high. Mike was initially interested in responding, but after I complained, he refused to answer my calls or return ANY messages. While this was clearly a bad installer, Mikes wouldn't rectify this at all. I won't be dealing with them again.

I was impressed with the customer service and final product installation. Mikes flooring has the best price in the area and also the installers were very professionals. If I have a small complain, he was quick to send the installer to my place to fix it. I would use it and recommended it. Great company.

I went to Mike's Flooring after reading the reviews. Excellent experience from start to finish. Great products, great prices. Store staff was friendly and always available to help. Mike was great to deal with and always there to answer my numerous questions. Installers were excellent. Installers went above and beyond. Extremely happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend and use again without hesitation.

Thank you so much for the wonderful laminate floors. The work was done i one day, staff at the store was excellent. Laminate installers were excellent, polite and fast.You made this work so easy for me from choosing the laminate to installing the laminate in my place. Defiantly would highly recommend your company for flooring needs. Once again thank you so much.

A suite in our condo had the laminate flooring damaged when the dishwasher overflowed. The local flooring company said they could not replace the flooring as it was discontinued. We checked online and found the flooring at Mikes in Burnaby,BC. They were very helpful and we were able to order the flooring and have it picked up by one of our condo owners who happened to be vacationing near Burnaby.

We hired Mikes Carpet & Flooring to install carpet on stairs. The installer came early and finished early. Very happy with the work. I would recommend Mikes Carpet & Flooring. However I felt it was little expensive. I paid $805 (include tax) for regular 30 steps (carpet was provided by us and old carpet was already removed from the stairs by us), 8 Ib 1/2" underlay, and one step stair nosing only.

Initially we received great customer service, a free estimate and a contract for reasonable quality carpet sold on promotion. Upon providing a 50% deposit, an installation date was set within a week’s time. However, they did not make sure that they had suitable stock before they had booked their installation date. They cancelled their installation with too short of notice; after we were given our installation date, we moved out all our furniture and had our old carpet removed for the purpose of having Mike’s Carpet & Flooring install new carpet on our given date. To have them install an alternative product matching in quality and color, we were required to pay the non-promotional price (a much higher fee). Because we did not agree to have them install a lower quality product or choose another type of promotional product (for example, Berber carpet instead of the plush carpet ordered) in a different color, they informed us that they could not reschedule the installation date until at least 6 weeks later. Given our situation, we began to look for other flooring companies. We found a competing flooring company that was able to match Mike’s Carpet & Flooring’s promotional deal for the exact product to be installed in a week's time. When we discussed the matter with Mike's Carpet & Flooring, they informed us that returning our deposit was against their company policy. They tried pressuring us into signing an agreement stating that we would not make any complaints to anyone regarding this matter and that we would be financially obligated for any expenses Mike’s Carpet & Flooring might incur as a result of such complaints if we wanted our deposit back. In hindsight, we wished we had first checked with the Better Business Bureau to ensure the company was accredited and reputable before doing business with them.
