They indicated no charge to get someone to see my issue and the contractor said he wanted to charge me. I refused as I indicated they told me on the phone no charge for diagnosis. Hello, thank you for reaching out. We’d like to clarify that our estimates are free of charge. In this case, our technician was unable to visibly locate the leak during the initial inspection. To accurately find the source, it would have required cutting and opening the wall to conduct a more in-depth investigation. We’re sorry, your problem wasn’t visible and required the work to complete investigation. The diagnostic fee was provided upfront to cover the time and work involved in that process. We truly appreciate your understanding if this caused any confusion or concern.
