When we purchased the house, we had to hire many different contractors over the period of two months. We found most of them on “Homestars” and we made sure all of them were ranked either as Nº 1 or at least in Top 5 in their field of expertise. Sadly, only two or three of them really fulfilled our expectations completely - and “North Shore Eavestroughing” was one of those few who did. The owner showed up on time for the estimate, took the pictures, discussed the work and options we had, gave me the suggestion what would be the best to do in our case, gave me the samples of what would be installed, as well as the written estimate for everything.  The interesting part was that his estimate, with all the taxes and warranties for material and work performed included was lower than the estimate the “friend of a friend” offered us for the cash earlier (and who had no written warranties or insurance). It was less than we expected. Two guys who came to do the job came on time and brought with them the photos of our house that Darren took earlier, with the photoshop drawings where the eves should be placed (and on the photos they were placed exactly where I agreed to have them), both of the workers were very pleasant and efficient and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. We had all eavestroughing installed in few hours only (and that included removal and disposal of old ones, as well as sealing the openings in the ground where the old ones used to go), after which we went together for the "inspection" and to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. It was. They completely delivered what was promised to me in a very professional manner, everything was done well and on time (storm was coming up that day) and with no hidden costs whatsoever.  All I was left with was receipt with 10 Yr Workmanship Warranty and 20 Yr Manufacturer Warranty and the feeling that it was money well spent. Darren called later on to make sure I was happy with the work done as well as with the guys he sent to our house. I usually wait a while before writting the review, but due to some unexpected things going on in our life, it took me longer that usuall to write this review - however, I am happy to say that, after few months and many heavy rains (and snow as well), our eaves are still flawless and steady. Our existing old eavestroughing was overflowing during heavy rain causing flooding to our basement. Darren was kind enough to drop by and have a look. He indicated that he had an appointment in the area but would return. Darren returned with some supplies to construct a temporary water diversion away from the house which solved the immediate flooding problem. Darren's quote for quality eavestrough replacement, leaf guards and down spouts was very competative.The crew showed up on time and completed the work with professionalism and care to our home and property. Work was completed in one day and work area completely cleaned up. We were very satisfied with North Shore Eavestroughing and would highly recomend them.

Norhtshore did a fantastic job installing eavestroughs on my house. The job was done within the day and they even left me some extra for when i decide to do my shed. Excellent work!!!

North Shore has been one of the most reliable companies we have employed and it is difficult to find a contractor who you know that you can trust completely to provide excellent results without cutting any corners. The quality of work is excellent and they take great attention to detail and do not attempt to race through a project to get it done and get out. They are organized, efficient, representable and reliable, and in addition they take all the necessary safety precautions, as well as fully cleaning up at the end of the job and not leaving any garbage. Above all, great quality of work.

Great experience with North Shore - they installed new eaves, soffit and facia - as well as LED accent lighting. North Shore helped us understand the various options available to us, benefits and features of the lighting - they installed in 1 day then made a return trip to ensure we were happy with the work they completed. Very thorough and professional - we plan to have them back next year to do some additional work.

In August of 2012 we employed North Shore Eavestroughing to install aluminum on the fascia and soffit of our house as well as eavestroughing with leaf guards and rain barrels. From the time of their arrival to give us an estimate, to their final return to make minor adjustments, they conducted themselves in a very professional, efficient, friendly and honest manner. They came when they said they would, finished the project when they said they would, gave good advice, used quality materials and cleaned up after themselves. They were a first rate company with which to do business.

Oct 21, 2012 We decided to replace the entire length of our eavestrough (approx 240 ft) and got 5 quotes. We had a particularly difficult job because our house has shifted over time, causing the eavestroughs not to drain properly in our back walkout. Other companies wanted to take the easy route of adding downpipes at the back to solve the issue, but we firmly did not want those added. North Shore was not the lowest price but we chose them because they were the only ones who truly understood our needs. Darren and his team took the time to discuss with us the technical details of the job and we were confident with their expertise. Darren exceeded our expectations, not only did he and his team install a fully functional system without additional downpipes (with t-rex leafguard), but was accommodating, corteous, and went the extra mile to address even our particular and exacting requests to make the job perfect. We are very grateful to Darren and his team, impressed with the results, and will definitely recommend them around.

Great workmanship, fast, friendly service. Laura was great on the phone and Darren came out quickly to take care of the estimate. The work was done on time, on schedule and thee guys did a complete site cleanup. Tony and Cedric were on site early and stayed late to ensure they met their deadline. The crew even brought out lighting apparatus to stay on schedule. They were always polite and professional on site. We had a blockage issue with debris in a downspout and the same friendly voice of Laura assured me that a repair order would be issued and someone would come by to inspect. Sure enough, Cedric was onsite quickly and made the repair even though the temperature was almost freezing. I cannot say enough about this company and how well they treat customers. Very refreshing as we had a few companies bid on our project. None came close to the expertise and professionalism of Darren and his staff at North Shore Eavestroughing.

Good value, great customer service and quality work. Clean up was thorough. Will recommend North Shore to anyone looking for eavesthorugh work. Quote provided helpful recommendation on re-routing the downspouts, much appreciated.

North Shore had originally installed our gutters and eavestrough last year and they did a great job then. So when we had critters tear open into one of our new soffits in the Fall, I called Darren to make the necessary repairs. He was quick to respond, did the repair in no time and was polite as always. We highly recommend them again.
