The company responded quickly to our initial inquiry and came to provide a quote within a couple of days. The work was very professional and Tony and Cedric were polite and kept us advised every step of the way. They went above and beyond when a problem with wood-rot was discovered. The problem was fixed instead of simply covered up. We were most impressed. We would highly recommend North Shore - in fact, we already have recommended them to our neighbors.

I was looking to get my Eavestrough replaced. In the process I ended up getting quotes and talking to individuals from 7 different companies. North Shore was one of them. I decided to use North Shore not because of their price. I decided for them because the way I was handled by Darren from North Shore. He is an awesome professional who knows what is he doing. He was the only one who heard me what I want to do and instead of outrightly rejecting it, he understood what I wanted to do and gave me suggestions that were practical and feasible. I will recommend North shore to everyone

This was the most pleasant home reno/maintenance experience. The employees were very experienced, knowledgable, prepared for an unpredicted down-pipe issue, punctual, clean and very pleasant. The cost was very reasonable. Our project was moved up to accommodate problem with water in the basement.

I have to admit I did not write this review right away after the job has been done. I waited until the first significant rain ... We've got it today. The new gutters are working very well. Communication with the company was simple and reliable. The inspection and the estimate were conducted in less than a week after my first call. The job itself was done in one day, eavestroughs were replaced at two levels. Tests were also conducted to ensure everything is working as it's supposed to. I am very satisfied with the work. Our home is build onto a hill and the old eavestroughing utilized downspouts that tied into the ground to take care of the water on the hill side of the house. After 15 years theses weren't working anymore. We wanted to eliminate these clogged and boken downspouts. Northshore helped redesign the flow of water to take all the roof water to the front of the house and then to the street. The whole experience was excellent from the quoting and troubleshooting the project to picking the colours to the actual work. I couldn't be happier. Thank you.

After doing some research online (including Homestars) we decided to ask North Shore Eavestroughing to quote on a job at our house. We have 4 trees on our property that in the spring gives the ‘gift’ of thousands of seed keys and in the fall a heavy ‘blessing’ of leaves. The eaves troughs are constantly in need of cleaning. In addition to that they were overflowing every time it rained and in some spots the downspouts were broken. We also had one downspout still sunk into the ground at the rear of the house. We felt there was increased risk of water damage to the basement because of the water overflow and saw evidence of this recently in the guise of wet carpeting near a wall in the basement. North Shore (Darren) came by the house and I described the situation. We talked for a bit and he told me about what his company could do for me. We discussed leaf guard for the eaves troughs, placing seamless eaves troughs around the home and replacing the facia. After a subsequent discussion with my wife we decided to also replace the soffit (for aesthetic reasons). My eye caught something on North Shore’s website where they described LED pot lights made by a company called Delphi Tech. I asked him to provide a quote on this as well. After several rounds of quotes we ended up having leaf guard, soffit, facia and new downspouts placed around the house and the garage. Also, we decided to install the LED’s and replace a couple lights at the rear and front of the house (and eventually the garage) with flood lights and motion detectors. Darren arranged for an electrician he worked with and trusted to do the flood replacement and installs. Well all of this came to fruition over two days recently (August 9th & 13th). On the 9th the crew came by and removed the old soffit and added additional ventilation to the attic. They were there most of the day starting at 8am. It rained the rest of the week and weekend. They returned on the 13th to complete the job and I must say I couldn’t be more pleased. The crew was there from a bit after 7am and didn’t leave ‘til a bit after 7pm. The entire house looks fantastic. If it’s possible for someone could fall in love with eaves trough it’s just happened. I can’t believe how good it looks. The company did a fantastic job. My neighbour commented on the look as well and really liked the LED’s. He also commented on how well Darren’s crew worked together. Darren stayed until it got dark so he could take a picture. I can say unequivocally that this was a great experience and a great company to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I just had my eavestroughs replaced by North Shore, and I'm happy to report that all the glowing reviews on this site are absolutely true. I was so impressed with the service--from estimate to installation, everyone at North Shore was extremely professional. The eavestroughs are beautiful (as beautiful as eavestroughs can be!) and it is good to know that they will stay that way for years to come. Highly recommended!

Before calling North Shore Eavestroughing I did my due diligence and found out as much as I could about what a good company would suggest for applyiing eavestroughing to my house which has a steel roof. I also got three quotes. When Darren came to the house I realized that he was very knowlegeable and was telling me the truth about what was needed for my house. The quote was the most expensive but not by much and I just felt that I should go with North Shore. Two personable young fellows came out promptly the morning that was booked and worked hard a good portion of the day. They used top quality materials and as far as I can tell did a bang up job. There was a little leaking on a short portion of the trough in front of the garage and they came back out and re-sloped it. Both times they cleaned up the property where they worked and you would never know they were there except for the lovely eavestroughs they installed. I do feel that I got great value for my money and not just because of their great warranty. I would most definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

I was very impressed with Darren and his team. They provided me with a quote in a timely manner and I waited approximately 2 weeks to have the work completed. Nick and Cedric completed the job and they did an excellent job. I was also impressed with the fact that they cleaned my property. There was not one ounce of debris on my property after the job. Darren and his team were great to work with. They showed up quickly to do the estimate and left a very comprehensive package of information and material samples with me. The job was scheduled well ahead of expectations and the installers did a fabulous job. They removed all the old material from the premises and left everything very tidy. Darren (the owner) even popped by a couple of days later to inspect the work. Very professional team and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
