    Replaced eavestrough, downspouts and fascia

Darren was very helpful in making suggestions for our new eaves etc. The pricing was very competitive and the guys did a great job with the installation and cleaned up like they weren't even there. I also went with North Shore because they had the highest warranty on their workmanship (10 years) which shows they are serious about their work. Other companies I had quoted offered 2 and 3 year warranties on their workmanship. Enough said. I will refer to anyone needing work done.

    Answer from pro:

Strong workmanship warranty is very important as you mentioned. It shows that the company is confident in their work. Thanks for the review!

    eavesthroughs and downspouts replacing

The work was to replace all old eavesthroughs and downspouts along the main roof and the garage. I want to emphasize my satisfaction in bullet points: • Very competitive price • Professional and polite team • Work done in time • Didn’t leave garbage and cleaned after themselves to a condition better than it was before Thornhill, March 26, 2012

    Repair eaves from storm damage

The north wind bent my front gutter into a sideways U. It's way up there too. With every breeze, the lower arm has been slapping the roof for a week. Well, Nick and Tony from North Shore Eavestroughing came by on a Friday afternoon. If two big trucks weren't enough to tell you something was going on, the job was further emphasized by the dozen or so traffic cones dotted around the site. The guys were fully aware of the extra jobs I'd requested, so I got out of their way and let them get to it. After 2 hours of activity, things quieted down so I went out for a look. WOW. I've never been so impressed with...gutters! Everything matches like it was always there. They capped and sealed the old kitchen vent, capped and redirected the downspout from the sewer, clipped off old cable wires from the second floor and reattached a corner of siding that also came off in the storm. Everything was done neatly and they cleaned up meticulously. So, hats off to Nick and Tony - and North Shore Eavestroughing. Nice, nice job.

    eavestroughs, downspouts,, soffit & facia

Darren and his crew took advantage of some good February weather to replace our eavestroughs, downspouts, plus garage soffit and facia. They started early and finished late. Everything was done safely and they kept the worksite tidy, taking everything away at the end of the day. Thanks for going the extra mile in a few spots such as changing the central vac vent to be more efficient and bird-free. I am very satisfied with the workmanship, quality of materials used, and timeliness of their response. Highly recommended.

    complete replacement of eavestroughs

I found out that my builder had done a very shoddy job with our eaves when there were leaks. So I called North Shore and everything went smoothly. They gave me the option to repair or replace and made good suggestions and did a great job. I would recommend this company to others. Thanks Darren.

    Eaves, Downspouts and LED lights

Initially when I contacted North Shore Eavestroughing, I wanted to replace my eavestroughs and disconnect my downspouts. Angela was very helpful with arranging a time for an overall review of my home and what I wanted done. Darren came out and inspected my property and we discussed the changes I wanted. He made suggestions as I was concerned about the placement of my downspouts. Although it actually took a while to firm up a date to do the work, Angela kept in contact with me. Finally when the work date was arranged, Tony, Nick and Darren came out on time to complete the work. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable and on time. Darren took the time to discuss the placement of my LED lights to make sure that I would be happy with the end result. When the work was completed, the guys cleaned up thoroughly and Darren made sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction before they left. Darren came back the next day to ensure the job was completed properly. The lights add curb appeal and act as a safety feature for my property. I would like to thank the whole team at North Shore for friendly service and a job well done!

    Answer from pro:

    Eavestroughing and downspouts

After having some basement flooding issues and having a few cracks repaired, the contractor pointed out that our eavestroughing was in horrible condition and was likely contributing to our foundation issues. He recommended these guys, but I still did my research. After several quotes that were insanely high, I came back to these guys anyway. Darren was very helpful in walking us through what needed to be done, and once the work was finished I could not believe how much water was coming out the downspouts compared to before. One year later and my basement is still dry and the eavestroughing looks good as new. Thanks for the great work guys!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Sandra! Thanks for the review! We work extra hard to make sure the whole system works to the best of its ability with proper slopes and downpipe size and placement. The results are hard to believe compared to the old eavestrough system we remove. Glad to hear you basement leaks have stopped.

Remove Old Eaves and Replace with New Eaves and Leaf Guard

We have done a fair bit of work to our house. We diligently research contractors even prior to requesting estimates. When it came to replacing our eavestrough - North Shore Eavestroughing made it to the shortlist. Darren came by to quote the job. He spent a fair bit of time investigating some of the concerns and problems we were experiencing and suggested solutions. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and easy going manner. His quote – Using quality materials - Was very competitive. On installation day, Paul, Nick and Darren showed up bright and early as promised. They went at it in a careful, methodical way – Taking great care in the demo, installation and clean up processes. They even went above and beyond the call taking care of several little things they discovered in the process at no extra charge. They are great people to work with. The house looks great and the new eaves works great given the 40mm + rain test last week and another 10 mm today! No problems! I would whole heartily recommend them. Jim & Laryssa

    Repairing storm damaged flashing

We had some flashing come off in a storm. North Shore Eavestroughing was recommended to us and we are extremely happy we called them. Darren came out to look at the situation within the hour. He is very easy going, knowledgable and trustworthy. Darren took care of the problem the very next day and did a great job matching the repaired area to the existing flashing. Even though the job was a small one, Darren took the time to examine the condition of the rest of our gutters and provided a helpful report on the state of our roof. I would not hesitate to recommend North Shore Eavestroughing to anyone looking for high quality work from a dependable and fair contractor.
