We had Jacob quote a reasonable price to renovate our bathrooms, closets and basement laundry area. His team is respectful, hard working and delivered a great product on time. We were thrilled with the results and any errors were corrected quickly and efficiently. We will be using them again when we complete a larger renovation in a few years. I highly recommend this team or professionals.

Jacob's team completed a major kitchen and bathroom renovation for us a few years ago. From the outset, we were very impressed with the ease of communication and professionalism, which was kept up throughout the entire process. They always came prepared with solutions, often very innovative, to any issues that came up along the way, while at the same time remaining flexible and open to discussing alternatives. The work quality was outstanding, and everything still looks and works great 3 years later. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

our reno was a tricky one. we are the middle house of 5 rowhouses with no access to backyard except thru house. 2 adults, one cild, a dog and an inlaw were living there thru a 3.5 month reno. Oriel was great, arriving the same time every morning, called if there were schedule changes. Reno was extensive, lathe and plaster walls and ceilings torn down, vapour seal, insulation, new drywall, relocating water, venting gas and electrical. a new windiw was also iunstalled Oriel was great, cleaning up everyday, tools, debris, vaccuuming and resealing the room. I recommend them to everyone thinking of renovations.

We highly recommend Oriel! Jacob and Sean were truly professional throughout our home renovation from the initial quote through to the very end. Most importantly, they stayed within our budget and completed the work all within their initial project timing. Just as important, Sean and Jacob provided helpful advice from the onset. For example, there was work that we wanted to do on our own for cost savings. Oriel was not only flexible on this, but gave us helpful tips on how to do so and were flexible on project timing around our schedule. I will be going back to Oriel for my future projects. Jacob and his crew took over a renovation that stalled in September 2018 [we terminated previous GC due to incompetence and stre-t-ch-ed time line] and have quickly brought the project back on track. It's obvious that Oriel has a dedicated and cohesive team of professionals who know their stuff - special shout out to Matt who has been our on-site HomeStar. I expect there was some trepidation on their end to take over a reno-in-progress but they embraced the challenge with confidence and care. It has been such a delight to work collaboratively and see the progress unfold over the past 8 weeks AND with a bright light at the end of the tunnel. It's too soon to add photos but I would gladly share when done. Not only would I recommend to friends, I would work with them again.

Jacob's crew did an amazing job transforming my dingy 80's laundry-room into a stunning masterpiece. It was nearly a complete gut job, including removal of a wall. The work was completed on time and on budget. They hooked up the machines before leaving each Friday so we did not have to use the laundromat. They were careful with drop-cloths, so the house stayed clean. They were resourceful when unexpected glitches came up, offering cost-effective solutions.

Oriel Renovations is currently working on our basement and unlike our past experiences with other contractors out there, Jacob and Sean have been so great to work with. Extremely communicative on the progress of the work which we really appreciate. And their crew have been equally wonderful - professional and friendly and very considerate of our requests. Can't wait to see the finished basement and if things continue the way they have been, we will definitely use Oriel again in the future and will definitely recommend them to friends!

We used Oriel Renovations to do a major kitchen renovation and liked working with them so much we had them come back to reno our bathroom. Jacob is very easy to work with and we found that to a person his crew was friendly and courteous and kept communication open with us as far as telling us what they were doing and getting our feedback as needed. As for the work itself, we're very happy with the quality. Both kitchen and bathroom came out looking beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone in need of renovation work.

We have worked with Jacob and his team from Oriel Renovations more than once. They initially completed an upstairs renovation which involved bedrooms, flooring and a bathroom re-model. We were so happy with their work, professionalism and most of all, their communication skills that we have had them back two times since for a waterproofing job as well as a backyard deck re-build. Jacob's team is dedicated, hardworking and their work is top notch. They are always available to answer questions and solve any problems that might arise both quickly and with expertise. Most of all, I appreciate that Jacob listens carefully and is always readily available by phone or email. He gets back to me right away from the initial quote on throughout the project and ensures that everything is completed to our satisfaction. We have recommended Oriel to many friends and we certainly hope to work with them again.

I used Oriel in 2007 for a kitchen and main floor renovation, and in 2009 for a bathroom and front deck renovation. We have just hired them to complete our basement. Jacob is very easy to work with. He listens to what we need and proposes options. He meets time commitments, and is transparent with budget and costing. The crew does quality work for a reasonable price.
