My Blomberg dishwasher wouldn't drain and water was leaking on the floor. Pete came by and replaced the drain hose and drain pump and now all is good.

We've used Pambis a few times for our Fridge and for our oven. Peter's a really great guy, super honest and truly very helpful. Sadly our appliances weren't well made but having Peter to help fine tune them is still less purchasing a new set. Highly recommend.

My experience with the Appliance Repair Industry was not good. My son recommended I call Pambis Appliance Service. To date Pambis has repaired my clothes dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher for a total cost of $1000 ($316, $458, $226). Pambis delivered quality service, in a timely manner, at a reasonable price and was a pleasure to do business with.

My review for Pete is mixed. Positive - He was very responsive to the original request. He came, within a reasonable amount of time, diagnosed the issue with our fridge and was able to repair it same-day. His price for the part needed was reasonable and he was very professional and courteous throughout. He also suggested something to try before coming out on the service call at no charge. Negative - In my experience, most repairmen include the first hour of work in their service call if they are able to fix the issue. Pete charged us a $90 diagnostic fee and then $80 for "an hour of work" + parts. He was on site fixing the issue for approximately 30 minutes. Thus, his hourly rate is $240 for the first hour ($80 for 30 minutes + $90 for his initial visit) and $80 per hour thereafter if more than an hour is needed. I wish I had known about the fees in advance so I could properly compare with the competition. I am writing this review to alert other to ask the question in advance when receiving quotes.

We've used Pambis Appliance Service practically since Pete opened back in the 90's. Our stove stopped working, but we were also having problems with our old fashioned basement fuse box at the same time. We'd taken our stove partially apart to see if the fuses in the stove were working and couldn't get it put back together right. Our burners and oven were not heating up, so it was time to call Pambis Appliances for help. Pete came, put it all together again and figured out that it was a fuse problem and promptly fixed the problem. He's always done a great job for us and he will for you, too!

Pete at Pambis provides excellent service. He is prompt ,efficient and very knowledgeable. He has helped us with several of our appliances and we have never had an issue with any repair. We would highly recommend Pete for any repairs. (I put zero as the cost only because we have had several repairs completed)

I've been seeking out Pambis for appliance repair since I was a teenager and as a homeowner now, I've continued to count on them to repair my dryer, my washing machine, my refrigerator and most recently, my oven when my stove burners wouldn't shut down. Pambis has always come to help and offered detailed, transparent pricing to explain the cost of the parts, the price of their labour and the fee for their visit. They've also been able to offer advice when seeking other home repair work from general contractors and plumbers. Their repairman is a good-humoured and pleasant man who always reassures me when I'm on edge over my clothes not drying or my washer not spinning and explains the problem fully and the various options for repair.
