Let me tell you about a time I dealt with Superior Home Systems. I saw "Central Vacuum Rough In Cover Plate White" listed on the site for $2.29. Went to the store to buy them and the shopkeeper said they only sold the covers to builders not home owners. Then the shopkeeper upsold Central Vacuum Inlet Covers to us for $10 a piece. At this point something fishy was afoot and should have left. The gut instinct was overridden and I bought them. Tried to screw them in at home, but the screw holes did not align, nor did they cover the entire hole in the wall. Went back to complain and now they handed over what we wanted originally , but would not be refunded the difference contrary to the no hassle return policy. So in the end we got the covers, but paid 4x more than necessary. Transaction happened Nov 29, 2013.

I had a 30 year old Beam system, some of the components needed replacement. Managed to find replacements for brushes, hoses, and connectors. Service was friendly, and person was knowledgeable. Helping me to understand which components needed replacement helped to avoid several trips to the store. Price seems reasonable

Our nanny quit - so I started vacuuming for the first time in a decade and noticed there was almost no suction on the top floor of our house - which kinda makes you wonder... anyway - I called Superior - they sent over a guy - very helpful and he explained why the vacuum was clogged (beyond the obvious reasons) - he unclogged it and now I sort of find vacuuming relaxing... so-to-speak - it was all good - I highly recommend Superior Home Systems -

Bought the BEAM serenity 398B with them in home show. Good price and came with installation. Installed the next day in about 2 hours. The contractor is very helpful and make sure we understand how to use it. He ensure all outlets were working properly and clean all left over materials.

I called Raffi at Superior to provide a quote for a central vacuum installation at my new home. The price was fair and his staff member Mark was able to install the system in less than a day. Everything works perfectly.

My old Beam central vac unit died on me one day and I had a sticker on my unit with Superior's tel#. I decided to give them a call to see if my unit could be serviced. I knew it probably wasn't serviceable since the unit was smelling pretty badly burnt already. Steve the sales and service guy came out to my home and gave me quote for a new unit, which was expertly installed the next day. Two months later the unit wouldn't turn off (seems like a common problem with Beams, as they have it listed on their FAQ online). I called them up again and within 2 days Steve was back and fixed the problem, free of charge. I also had them send out another person come out to install a Vac Pan for me. The position was critical and the installer gave me good advice as he thought it wasn't secure on the kitchen centre island. In the end, it was installed under the kitchen sink and the job was neat and clean. Apparently my floors were extra thick wood and took him quite awhile to saw through it all.

I run a small cleaning compang, so a durable vacuum is essential. This vacuum handle very well and also comes with a handy retractable cord. I did find that the lack of a lower front handle made it clumbsy on the stairs.

Over 25 years ago, Superior installed our home vacuum system in Don Mills. Our salesman,Frank Zad (who is now President) was great - the system went in with little fuss or mess and has been operating efficiently ever since. Recently we needed service on the carpet sweeper and this was done quickly and with good results. Their service technician, Mario Marco offerred several suggestions to improve the efficiency of the system which we carried out with great results. I would recommend Superior to anyone thinking of installing a home vacuum system
