Tony and the entire crew at Taves Roofing did an amazing job on my roof. They were quick, quiet, and conscious. It was a pleasure working with them and I have no hesitation in giving them my strongest recommendation. I have used them in the past and would definitely use them in the future. It was a very good experience and I love my roof!

Quick, Concise, Considerate and Clean. A true 5 star company!!! I met Richard Taves (Company Owner) in Osoyoos, he was driving a Taves Roofing Truck. It just so happened that I was getting quotes to redo my rental house roof at that time. I approached him and asked him to come give me a quote, he explained to me that he was on holidays and actually worked and lived out of the Vancouver area. After a brief conversation I convinced him to come look at my roof. He followed me to the rental property and gave me a quote. The quote I got from him was a little less than the 2 other quotes I had received prior to our meeting. The Taves roofing warranty surpassed all others by 20 years with a full 12 year transferrable warranty in case I decided to sell the house! I was sold right on the spot, and new I had found my roofer!!! About 2 weeks later Richard showed up with one of his crews and had the roof replaced within 2 days. This house is rented by an elder couple who said that the crew was very professional clean and courteous. I went to inspect the job and clean up the yard for my renters a couple days after Taves Roofing had finished. The install was immaculate, the valleys were actual steel, all vents were replaced with better quality vents, they eliminated a B-Vent from the old furnace which had been replaced with a new wall venting furnace and heat pump….. they even cleaned the gutters!!!! I am very pleased with the job and especially happy about the color of shingle Richard recommended. The house stays cooler and the shingles will withstand the crazy sun and heat of Osoyoos summers. After exiting the roof I walked around the house looking for stray nails or bits of old shingle, I was very surprised when I couldn’t find a single remnant of the massive job that had just occurred on the property. If you are looking for quality and cleanliness look no further, Taves Roofing is for you. Thank you Taves Roofing for the amazing job, you will get to do every roof I ever replace (If I can suck you into roofing in the Osoyoos heat again.) !!!!!!!!!

I called few roofing companies about a leak in the roof. These guys respond imminently . Within an hour a technician call me back and was on his way to me. Cody came over, very nice guy , climbed up, fixed the roof, explain the problem and took some photos. Defiantly a contact to keep. Highly recommended.

Had a leak at our rental property from a poorly done job by another contractor that caused extensive interior damage. Tony came right away and repaired it. I then had him redo the flat roof when the weather got better. We buy properties all the time and would definitely use him again.

Update; Since posting this Tony from Taves roofing reached out and was very apologetic and sincere. He explained that he didn't realize that this had happened and offered to personally come by to give us help with anything we needed. He's offered to refund the money and come by to correct any issues from the original techs sloppy work. He's also offered a free gutter cleaning to make up for the trouble. It was very kind of him so I agreed to update this review to reflect this. We'll likely give him an opportunity to correct this experience in the coming weeks when we are available. --- After a few nights of below freezing this winter I had a leak coming from an internal gutter drain joint that was on the overhang of my flat roof. The leak was draining into our house aggressively. At the time I didn’t know the source of the leak so I called Taves for an emergency repair as the rains were forecasted to continue to be heavy for a few days and the volume of water leaking into my house was substantial. The person they sent out took one look, tried to peel up our tar paper and then tried to convince me I would have to replace all of our gutters and our flat roof for a single leak within the joint of the flat drain pipe. I told him it was likely just the joint and asked him to try to repair it. He said all he could do was put down cement around the flat roof gutter to keep water from going into the gutter - I let him try this but within 30 seconds of him finishing the water was pooling over his half built circle dam and I gave up on any hope that he could do anything professionally enough to help me without causing significant damage. I showed him out and asked for a discount since he didn’t really do anything whatsoever and my leak was still happening. He declined but said he’d take $100 off the price of replacing our entire roof. Clearly this is a high pressure sales technique he has been taught by his employer. I told him no, paid him his $250 and went to work removing his concrete which was now all over my roof. Once I finished cleaning up his mess I then began fixing the drain myself. After about an hour, I was drenched from the rain but I had reconnected the joint, tightened the fasteners and the leak was fixed, easy as that. In retrospect I should have told him I wasn’t paying a dime. I’m actually quite offended by the level of service and this companies technique of using emergency situations as a high pressure sales opportunity. I will never do business with them again.

We hired Taves to replace our 30 year old cedar shake roof with a modern high quality asphalt shingle roof. Their workers were easy to get along with as well as being thorough and conscientious. They kept the property tidy during the work period and cleaned up at the end. They did a very professional job on our roof and we were very satisfied with the end product.

We are leasing a home that developed a leaky roof so the owners asked me to find a company to handle it. I contacted several companies and the owners and I easily decided on Taves. Tony had arrived quickly to give us a quote on roof replacement, and upon quote approval the job was done the following week. The owners and I were very happy with his prompt attention, especially since it was a smaller job at a very busy time. Tony was responsive, answered all of my questions, and his pricing was very fair. His crew was also great - professional and respectful. I have every confidence that Tony is a true expert in his field and as such I would be happy to recommend Taves for anyone's roofing needs.
