One cannot help being Leary of passed experiences especially with companies claiming to be the best at what they do. The Chimney Company showed a skeptic like me that if you do your homework great companies are still out there. Bill and his A-Team showed up in one of summers hottest days to rebuild our chimney from the roofline up. The site was spotless when they left, which was very pleasing to us. Now we know why Bill is on Fire! Thank you gentlemen

The owner, Bill is a nice technical person with good knowledge and experience on chimneys. He showed up very fast and quoted the job in all details. The chimney was nicely built the following week after I called him and the bricks match the house very well. He even fixed one hidden issue for me. His unique double drip line slab cap design will better prevent water from trickling down into chimney. He also came back again to coat and seal the chimney top, which is another benefit of a long lasting chimney. The ten year written warranty offers me another peace of mind of their workmanship in trust. Thank you, Bill!

This solved a problem of leak from the chimney that was “repaired” many times by other companies but continued to leak for about 12 years! Transparent dealing together with clear diagnostic and solution, couple with reasonable quotes, timely execution made for a very satisfactory completion. The repair of the basement following the removal of the wood burning stove maintained a seamless finish with the existing.

Bill, we have had some bad experiences with home repairs before and were wary of having to select yet another company to work with when we discovered our brick chimney was deteriorating and had to be rebuilt. There are several top rated companies on Homestars but much to our surprise, you were the only one who insisted on seeing the chimney IN PERSON before providing a cost estimate! Because of that you were able to catch an issue that none of the other companies noticed because they were relying solely on photos. You were also the only one who returned 24 hours after completion of the rebuild to seal the chimney! I think these are such significant differences between you and the others and they made us feel that you genuinely cared about doing exceptional work, no matter how small or large the job we needed might be. We wholeheartedly agree with the other positive reviews: your team was punctual, tidy, professional. Really appreciated how you referred us to homes nearby for whom you had done similar work so we could see what the final product would look like and how it might hold up over time and how you kept in contact with us in the weeks prior to arriving on site so we knew the timelines of when the project would start. Couldn't have asked for a better company to work with and the bar has now been set very high for any future people we need to work with. THANK YOU again!

After I called this company, Bill the owner made an appointment the next day to come to the house to look at our collapsing chimney. He went on the roof to take a look at the chimney and also came into the house to look at our furnace venting and chimney liner. He gave us some good advice about finding a contractor to fix our recent problems with furnace venting and chimney liner before he could do the work repairing the chimney. We really appreciated his honesty and helpful suggestions. He gave a very reasonable quote for repairing the chimney. A month later we were ready to call him back to repair the chimney. He dropped off some sample bricks for us to choose from a week before the work started. On the day of the job he arrived early in the morning with his team and I was really impressed with how organized and efficient they were from start to finish. I asked him to do a couple of small jobs that I forgot to add to the original quote. But I when I asked him how much more I would have to pay, he said he stands by his original quote .. so he didn't charge me for the extra work he did. Bill and his team did an excellent job of rebuilding our chimney from below the roof so it looks like new again. I would definitely recommend using this company to anyone needing home chimney repairs done with efficiency and high quality.

We learned our chimney had a serious issue not visible from the ground when our roofer was on the roof estimating our roofing job. We called Bill, he came to assess the job within 24 hours. He advised us on repair options and pricing. He worked to schedule the repair days to work best with both the forecast weather conditions and with our timing for the roofing job - that is to say to enable performance of the chimney repair in the most favourable weather conditions available, and in advance of the roofers so that the chimney repair traffic would occur on the old roof rather than on the new roof. This is an important point, as avoiding unnecessary foot traffic on a roof will help the shingles last longer. He came to do the job when he said would, did the job efficiently and professionally, charged what he said he would, and provided us with before and after photos so we could see the results without risking a climb on our tall, steep roof. I could not be happier with the services provided. Great job!!
