I have a one bedroom condo downtown, The Floor shop put in my floors 22 yrs ago, they needed replacing and so I called the Floor Shop again to replace them. This is a very stressful time in my life and I was apprehensive to take on the job at this time but it had to be done . The Floor shop came removed the old and put in new floors with no issues. They came on time, were professional and did a super job once again... great service, no stress and beautiful new floors. Thanks again Andrew and Ryan and Peter. All the staff are helpful and nice.

I meant to write this review over a year ago, but we are still in the process of renovating! I cannot say enough good things about The floor shop. They were so patient with us as we are renovating the house ourselves. We had our basement done in vinyl and it looks amazing, it took them an afternoon to complete. We tore out everything in the basement and it took much longer than anticipated. Everytime we called to push the date of installation they were so understanding. We had our 2nd floor done as well, and they look so amazing, I could not be happier! They also matched the existing flooring on the main floor, as we tore out a wall or two and they did a wonderful job. A few months after installation while renovating we dropped a power tool on the brand new floors and they came and fixed it within 2 weeks. I am so happy with their work and customer service I cannot recommend enough! I have added a photo of the basement.

Overall I’m pleased with my experience with the Floor Shop even though it was rocky at times. I ordered a Luxury Vinyl Flooring product for my condo and was happy with the help I received in the showroom. They let me take samples home and keep them for a few weeks while I decided which product I wanted. On the day of install they realized the person who keyed in the order keyed in the wrong amount of floor product by mistake. Needless to say I was not happy. The installer came and was able to complete my main room, but not the two bedrooms. The Installer, Voytek, was great and did an amazing job to make sure he completed the whole main room with the limited amount of flooring material he had. The Floor Shop employees tried to find additional material, but it was on backorder. As Coronavirus started to take over Asia, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get the product for 2-3 months at minimum. However, Peter, the owner, who had been on vacation when this happened, promised to try to find more product or offered me a discount for my troubles. In the end, he was able to tap into his new build resources and find me the product and get it installed. The second installer, Bob, also did a great job. While the data entry error and the news of limited product on install day were a huge frustration, ultimately I feel Peter’s actions to solve the problem were fair and in my best interest. Based on this I would use this company again since I felt they owned their mistake and did what they could to fix it. In the end, my condo looks great and I’m so happy with the finished look.

I live in a condominium in the Bayview / Eglinton area of Toronto. After much discussion with my wife, we decided to replace our existing broodloom with a new laminate floor thruout. We visited The Floor Shop on Wicksteed Avenue and with the help of their staff selected what we hoped would be our dream flooring. Well, we were not disappointed. Allen dropped into our place within a day or two, took all the measurements and provided us with a full cost breakdown which was much less than we had expected to pay. Within two weeks the installers arrived on time, removed our old flooring and installed the new floor much quicker than we had expected. The installers (Wojtek) were extremely efficient, friendly and went beyond what was included in the contract. After Allen provided us with a full cost breakdown we then dealt with Andrew who scheduled the work. Both Allen and Andrew were extremely friendly and efficient. I would have no problem providing my highest recommendation to all the folks at The Floor Shop. The floor looks simply amazing.

The crew was so excellent! On time, meticulous and final product was outstanding. Would definitely use again and recommend. Looks beautiful.

This is the second project that The Floor Shop has done for me. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. Were renovating the whole house ourselves, and they were so patient, happy to move our installation date and keep the materials for us until we were ready. Then the installation. What to say. They are magicians. I had accidentally ordered 1/2 instead of 3/4 flooring, and as a result my prep work was not done properly. The workers were so patient with me, and assured me theyd make it work. And make it work they did! Im beyond impressed and thankful for their hard work. They worked efficiently and cleanly. They checked in with me every step to make sure I knew what was going on and confirming I was happy with the choices. I want to shout out to one of the two gentlemen (whom Ive been told has the nickname Polish Prince). Cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate his work!!

The installation crew that came to install Torly's Everest Designer Engineered hardwood were superb. Wojtek and Eric did an impeccable job on our installation. They worked non-stop like busy beavers and were patient in answering questions and even helped us in moving some of our furniture. The final installation looks amazing. Wojtek is a proud and professional craftsman and takes his job seriously. We would have him again on any repeat job.

This is the first time using the Floor Shop and working with Debbie was a wonderful experience.. Everything she said would happen, happened and she followed up every step of the way.. We are truly happy with our floors and the overall experience.. I would definetly tell my friends to use the Floor Shop without a doubt. Thank you for your professionalizm.

Out of all the new products and assets I put into my complete condo renovation, the biggest impact is made by the floor. The sales staff, Larry and Maureen were very helpful and professional and they actually made shopping for a floor a pleasant experience. The installation was not without some hiccups due to the uneven concrete floors but Larry made sure that all the challenges were rectified to my satisfaction in a timely and professional manner. See the before and after pics. The difference the floor makes is huge.

We are renovating our main floor of our house and I knew that I wanted the floor to be the focal point. I chose a herringbone pattern and I knew it needed an experienced installer to install the complex pattern. I had heard from a friend that their service was great when she did her floor. She was right. The Floor Shop (Leaside) installer was amazing! His attention to detail was like watching an artist at work. You would think he was installing the floor in his own home. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job. This floor has given my builder-box home beautiful character and warmth.
